Kat Stickler is a 30-year-old lifestyle influencer who broke out in 2020 making videos with her now ex-husband. She makes TikTok and YouTube videos that tackle subjects like dating, parenting, makeup and more. Kat has 10.5 million followers on TikTok, so she’s fairly well known in the influencer world and is not shy about sharing her personal life.
Last week, Deuxmoi posted a blurry picture of Kat on a date with 47-year-old John Mayer at a private club in New York City. At the time, it was just speculation. Us Weekly got the exclusive confirmation that John and Kat really are dating. Apparently, they’re a brand new thing and it’s not serious yet.
John Mayer and Kat Stickler are dating and enjoying each other’s company after initially crossing paths online.
“John sought her out and pursued her,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “Kat just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months and thought it would be fun to date again, and was interested in John.”
The insider shared that the pair’s romance is “still very new” but they have been out together a few times.
“He has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often,” the source shared. “She is interested and seeing where it goes.”
While Stickler, 30, “doesn’t think this will be a serious relationship,” the insider added that she is “having fun.”
Mayer, 47, and the social media personality were first spotted dining together at New York City’s Fly Fish in a photograph published by DeuxMoi on Sunday, October 12.
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten an update about John Mayer’s love life, but as you know, it’s pretty prolific. I hope Kat knows what she’s doing here. If John Mayer dating a younger influencer feels very random to you, someone on Reddit put in the work and figured out a timeline, which includes John following Kat’s account for a while and Kat mentioning she’s a fan of his on a September 29 video. Page Six speculated that a September 28 video that Kat posted from a date with a mysterious man in which she shows her date from the chin down is John, but I don’t think that’s his chin.
As for their age difference,they’re adults. I’d be more icked out by it if she was, say, 19 or 20. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts and whether we’ll get more official pap shots or even content from Kat about the two of them. Oh, and Deuxmoi’s post mentions that John drank Coke Zero on their date. I’m really happy to hear that he’s still sober. Good for him.

I follow her on instagram and didn’t realize she and the mystery man broke up, but looking back on some videos I guess so! Kat is very funny, her videos make me laugh quite a bit. I’m biased because of Jessica Simpson and Taylor, but I wouldn’t wish John Mayer on anyone. Hope it’s just casual!
