Andrew Windsor wants a cook, housekeeper, secretary & gardeners in Norfolk

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has no plans to move out of Royal Lodge until 2026. He and Sarah Ferguson were given a somewhat generous two-months-plus to pack up their things, mostly (as we were told) because King Charles doesn’t want them around Sandringham during the Christmas holiday. We still don’t know which “cottage” or mini-estate Andrew will move into, but the Sandringham estate is vast and there are many mansions/cottages up for grabs. Apparently, Andrew is still negotiating his exit package, and he wants to ensure that he has household staff:

He is insisting, as we shall see, on an appropriate home and a rota of staff fit for the son – however debased – of a queen and the father of two royal princesses, who ironically can now insist that Andrew bows to them.

No agreement has yet been reached on where he is going to be rehoused and, more importantly, who will look after him. And until it is, his vast teddy bear collection – he is reported to have 72, which staff have to arrange perfectly on his bed – will remain unpacked.

Disgraced Andrew, it is understood, is playing hardball. He wants a cook, a housekeeper and a secretary-cum-butler, plus gardeners – either his own or the use of those already working for the Royal Family. He also wants the right to roam, rather than being confined to quarters.

[From The Daily Mail]

“The right to roam” is cracking me up. Technically, it’s not like he’s under house arrest, although I’m sure Charles hopes that Andrew simply keeps his head down and stays hidden away. Andrew is so arrogant though, and of course he’s going to try to get everything he can from this exit deal with his brother, including the right to roam and the right to have a fully-staffed home! Meanwhile, York-family biographer Andrew Lownie continues to reveal more and more about just how much has been covered up about Andrew’s degenerate behavior. Apparently, QEII knew that Andrew brought prostitutes into Buckingham Palace??

Andrew Lownie, the historian, biographer and author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” tells me the former Duke of York, Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor), had an obsession with sex workers — and even brought his distasteful habits home to Buckingham Palace. While it has been reported Andrew once had “40 prostitutes” delivered to his Thailand hotel, he also brought them into the Palace.

“He brought in prostitutes to Buckingham Palace for years,” Lownie told me. “It was done on a regular basis. People who worked there complained to people in command, but nothing was done — the security that complained were told, “If you would like to go back on the beat Brixton, you have that choice, but otherwise you keep quiet. Of course the Queen knew (about Andrew’s proclivities). She was informed,” Lownie told me. “But he was her favorite son, and he got away with everything. They brushed it under the rug. Until now.”

“I am getting more and more information every day from people who worked at the Palace and in the government — they are no longer scared to talk or come out and tell the world what really happened now that Andrew has been removed from power … and now that he is no longer protected by the Queen,” Lownie said.

Lownie is currently working on a follow-up book to “Entitled” called “Untitled” and will delve into all the seedy allegations about Andrew that are coming to light.

[From NewsNation]

Sure, I believe this. We’ve been told many times over the years that QEII believed in her son’s innocence, and that Charles fundamentally believes that Andrew is not guilty of the alleged trafficking and rape. But it’s getting more and more difficult to believe that QEII and Charles haven’t known this whole time that Andrew was doing stuff like this – bringing escorts into the palace, bringing spies into the palace, being paid for access, being paid to be a useful idiot to all kinds of horrible and seedy characters.

Oh, for crying out loud! Get him a DoorDash subscription, a Betty Crocker cookbook, a couple reams of lined paper, and a shovel!

  2. Seeing as he is getting really soft punishment they shouldn’t give him those things. Let the pedo truly fend for himself in his new probably big stone house. Cook your own food or have a pizza delivery. Wash your own clothes and arrange your own teddy bears it will give him something to do. As for gardeners well mow your own damn lawn.

  3. Cynner says:

He wouldn’t know what to do with any of it! Entitled moron that he is.

  4. WaterDragon says:

If I were Andrew, I think I would lay low and at least attempt to cooperate with the expectations set out for me. If he keeps this up, I would not be surprised if he were “Diana-ed”.

  5. Ohn says:

I say, give him everything he wants. As vile and reprehensible as Andrew is, he is still a free man. If the authorities choose not to go after him, then let Andrew’s legacy be absorbed into the ongoing scandal that is the British Royal Family.

  6. fwiw says:

Could he hire Sarah? She needs a job.

If Lownie does another book, he needs a copy editor, or at least needs to read the final draft himself. Entitled’s layout is a mess.

  7. Amy Bee says:

I’m sure Andrew will get everything he wants and most definitely the Queen and Charles knew what was going on and they did everything they could to protect him.

  8. Eurydice says:

“Right to roam” sounds like he wants to start up his travels again, like the way Fergie is trying to remake her image.

And, of course, Charles and QEII knew about this – they had all the reports.

I believe there is a specific “right to roam” in the UK, which covers most public lands. That’s why it was a big deal for the Wales to cordon off so many acres for their new forever home.

I don’t know if that’s exactly what he’s referring to or not, but if I lived anywhere near Sandringham, I don’t want to see that creep anywhere in the community, whether it’s on the public footpaths or at the dog park.

  9. Jensa says:

Of course the late Queen knew what he was up to – she’d have been briefed on security issues, for a start, and Andrew’s shenanigans would have been a security risk in several levels. She just thought they’d get away with it, and the establishment would cover up for the royal family, as they always have done.

  10. Jane says:

For someone engaged in illegal activities – we know he has blackmail material – you’d think he would want the Sandringham gardners and cleaners to keep their normal routine when he moves in and just have a pricey meal subscription he could heat up without the presence of someone who could spy on him. But he seems fixated on abusing – in every way – the staff, so.

  11. Lorelei says:

And I’m sure he’ll end up getting them all. Even though I’m sure HE feels victimized, Andrew has been coddled throughout this entire tragedy, and he knows too much dirt about the rest of the Windsors to risk their ire.

  12. MsIam says:

Of course he does. He needs this stuff so he can continue to play Lord of the Manor using other peoples money.

  13. Jay says:

Of course he wants staff – this is a family that doesn’t think they should have to put their own toothpaste on their own toothbrush, let alone normal household chores.

I’m mostly alarmed by the stories about him hiring “sex workers”, particularly abroad. Referring to these women as such is a good way to prejudice the inevitable stories that are likely to come out about his predatory ways. A sex worker is a consenting adult, for example: it is not the appropriate term for an underage girl, nor can a person who was trafficked be a prostitute because they cannot “consent”. To my thinking, this is the palace trying to shape coverage of any women who come forward as “prostitutes” just trying to sell their stories, to try and discount them and mitigate the damage.

I flag this only because Andrew has form for trying to discredit Virginia’s story in a similar way, but also notably his pal Epstein was given a sweetheart deal from the Florida Justice department to plead to “prostitution” rather than rape and human trafficking, which is what it actually was.

    • Betsy says:

Agreed. Lots of sex workers are trafficked and underaged, and I’d trust Andrew to seek them out.

This guy should be in prison, not a palace. Why can’t he just dry up and blow away?

It’s especially bad when your youngest daughter founded an anti-slavery charity.
