Cardi B’s fourth pregnancy was shrouded in mystery for months. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset last year, just before she gave birth to their third child together, a daughter. Cardi has been very open this year about the divorce and how Offset is doing everything he can to slow the process and be a total a–hole about every little thing. Meanwhile, Cardi quickly moved on with Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the New England Patriots. It seemingly didn’t matter to Cardi that Diggs has messiness in his life as well – seven months ago, his ex Aileen Lopera gave birth to a daughter, and he had to take a paternity test to prove that the child is his. Those results just came back last week! Well, it turns out that around the same time as the paternity result coming in, Cardi gave birth to a baby boy.

Cardi B is a mom of four! The Am I the Drama? artist, 33, welcomed her fourth baby, a boy, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE. “Cardi is healthy and happy,” the rep said.

The new addition is Cardi B’s first child with her boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs.

Cardi also shared the news on Instagram in the caption of a video where she lip-synchs “Hello,” from her recently released sophomore studio album Am I the Drama?.

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” Cardi wrote. “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”

The rapper added, “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right. There’s nothing thats gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time! I’ve learned i’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman i’ve become! That’s what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever.”

I’m surprised that she gave birth right now! I thought she was due in early 2026, but that’s because she kept the pregnancy quiet for so long (there was speculation for months, but she only confirmed it in September). Anyway… congrats to Cardi, she loves being a mom and she now has two boys and two girls, all at the age of 33. I mostly hope that Cardi finally disentangles herself from Offset and she finds a way to protect all of her assets from here on out.
