Duchess Meghan to an astrologer: ‘We look to visit Australia again’

In October, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent several days in New York, mostly based around their work events in association with Project Healthy Minds. But they also went to a private dinner and had lunch with Serena Williams and more. One of those private events included the astrologer Angela Pearl. Pearl calls herself a “celebrity astrologer” and she is based in Australia. After the Sussexes met Pearl, Meghan sent her a nice little note. On her Instagram, Pearl posted a photo with Harry and Meghan with a shot of the partially redacted note.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have said that they are “looking to visit Australia again”. The revelation was made in a letter the couple sent to celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl, who was invited to join them for what she described as a “special evening” in October when the couple were in New York.

In the letter dated Oct 24, which bears the Duchess’s royal cypher – a cursive M topped with a crown – the couple wrote to Ms Pearl: “We want to thank you for joining us … Your energy and insight were such a welcome addition”.

After a paragraph redacted by the astrologer, they added: “On a separate note, we hope your family in Ukraine remain safe, and we look forward to staying in touch, especially as we look to visit Australia again”.

Ms Pearl, who is based Down Under, describes herself as an “astrologer with 20 years of experience” on her website, where she offers webinars and tarot card courses for purchase.

The astrologer, who used to live in Ukraine, posted the official letter from the couple alongside a picture of her posing between them with the accompanying caption: “Still in awe of this special evening. Thank you, Prince Harry and Meghan, for the warm invitation and inspiring conversation.”

It marks the first time the couple have discussed returning to Australia, where they visited in 2018 as part of their first overseas tour together after getting married.

First of all, I love that Meghan sends nice little notes to people she meets randomly. That’s so classy and it’s a throwback to a different era, without being cheesy. As for the idea that Harry and Meghan plan to visit Australia again… lmao. Well, that’s one way to get William and Kate off their lazy asses, isn’t it? The minute Harry & Meghan announce their plans to visit Oz in any capacity, William will run around screaming “Australia is MINE!! I’M KING OF AUSTRALIA!” Nevermind that William was too lazy to travel to Australia for the Women’s World Cup final in 2023 when the Lionesses were playing! As for the astrology aspect of this… it’s interesting. I’ve seen some astrological predictions for the Windsors in the coming years and it certainly will be interesting. Especially in March of next year.

Wow, Harry and Meghan have very compatible-looking signatures!

Also, what’s possibly happening in March of next year? Do tell…

  2. Mightymolly says:

It’s a common sentiment for people who’ve visited Australia.

I’m surprised that the Telegraph is writing this story. But Meghan didn’t actually say that she and Harry were going to Australia just that they hope to in the future. If they do hopefully it will be just a private visit because the British press and the Palace are going to have a major meltdown.

    • Eurydice says:

There’s no way H&M can visit Australia privately. The calls to the tabloids will start as soon as they go through customs. The press and palaces will go ballistic no matter what H&M do or where they go. And we know that H&M can’t resist visiting some charity or other, so it will be dubbed a “royal tour.”

Meghan loves travel and I can absolutely believe they want to go to Australia again. If she was able to be safe, I’m sure she’d like to visit the uk again.

  5. Fwiw says:

I guess any press is good press, but I would be so annoyed if I were H&M and had sent a nice note like this and then this woman turned around and posted it seemingly for attention.

  6. tamsin says:

Is she not revealing a private?

  7. Magdalena says:

Just goes to show how ignorant the “royal experts” are on basic matters. That cyper is not “Meghan’s” cypher, it is the JOINT cypher of Harry and Meghan. Meghan’s is only a cursive M underneath a coronet, Harry’s is a cursive H beneath a coronet, their joint cypher is merged, hence that diagonal line across the M. Much was made of it at the time… by none other than the people at the Telegraph, among others.

I for one am hoping that the Sussexes do make another fantastic trip to Australia, for funsies. 😀

    • Magdalena says:

Just adding that the reason a joint cypher is used is because the letter is from them both – they both signed it. Harry also sends thoughtful notes like that to people he has met, just like his wife. They really met a soulmate in each other.

  8. Yvonne says:

I have to admit, I’m a bit disappointed they’re visiting astrologers. I would have hoped they were more rational than that.

    • Eurydice says:

The post says that the astrologer was a guest at a private party H&M attended, not that they specifically visited an astrologer.

    • Happy Peregrine says:

You know that people do things for fun, right?

And the astrology was a part of the party that they attended – like a Photo Booth at weddings – and they wrote to thank her for her energy and fun times. At a party. That they went to.

I would like to see Invictus go to Australia. Invictus is an incredibly moving organization and event that helps so many people. I would like to see some salty Aussies remain stoic against that. Also, I have seen comments in America that criticize the Sussexes, and stop just short of calling the Royal family “our” Royal family. Ah, no. They are our ally now, but we are the ones always bailing them out. And we elect our officials. We have no royals here. Basically, the modem is to earn respect.

    • Magdalena says:

Invictus has already been to Australia, but it would definitely get massive coverage if it returned there. I’d like to see it go to South Korea. They are really keen to host it.

Please stay away from astrologers and other peddlers of woo-woo.
