Sarah Ferguson’s spox claims that Sarah has no plans to move in with her daughters

A few years ago, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi purchased a multi-million-pound Cotswolds mansion. There were few, if any, conversations about the mansion, the purchase and where they got the money for all of it. I still don’t know. Well, a few days ago, the Mail had an exclusive about Beatrice offering an “annex” on the Cotswolds property to her mother. As in, Sarah Ferguson has no idea where she’ll live after she’s forced out of Royal Lodge early next year. There were rumors that Sarah would move to Portugal and live with Princess Eugenie, but now sources are saying that Sarah will end up in the Cotswolds with Bea. Well, interestingly enough, Sarah’s spokesperson went to People Magazine to dispute all of that.

Sarah Ferguson is still deciding where she will live after leaving Royal Lodge, where she stayed with her ex-husband, the former Prince Andrew. The author and former Duchess of York is mulling over several ideas for her future home.

Sarah, 66, and Andrew, 65, are leaving Royal Lodge in Windsor after continuing to live under the same roof despite their divorce in 1996. Andrew was told to surrender the lease following the unprecedented decision to strip him of his royal titles amid renewed interest in his past ties with the late Jeffrey Epstein.

“She is assessing a number of options currently, and no final decision has been made,” her spokesman tells PEOPLE.

The spokesman debunked a recent report that Sarah may live in an annex or converted barn at the country home of her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, saying it was not correct. Staying at the home of her second daughter, Princess Eugenie, in Portugal — which has also been claimed — is also not on the cards.

In October, a source told PEOPLE that Fergie, as she is affectionately known, “is going to be moving out and into a separate home.”

“Contrary to reports, she has never asked for a property or any provision for herself,” the source added. “She will continue to forge an independent life.” A second source close to Sarah added that she will find her own place and is “going to move forward independently.”

My guess is that Sarah still believes that she’ll be able to bounce back and rebuild her life in some way, maybe through paid interviews or some kind of tell-all memoir. Even if she believes that, the rude awakening should happen soon, correct? Obviously, she’s got feelers out, trying to drum up interest in yet another interview or yet another book. It should be clear to her soon that few publishers are interested, and few broadcasters will pay her at this point? And clearly, she doesn’t have any money left – she wouldn’t be so panicked if she had a real retirement nest egg. I don’t even think it’s a bad idea for Sarah to just go and live with one of her daughters. They could say that Sarah is retired from public life and leave it at that.

Additionally, a “close source” to Sarah also told People Mag that Sarah is currently house-hunting in the Windsor area, and she’s been told to move out of Royal Lodge by the end of January. It’s more than likely that Sarah will move out of RL in January or February, but Andrew will be allowed to linger for months longer.

Thank goodness for Beatrice and Eugenie! While I’m sure they love their mother, I’m equally sure that they (and their husbands) don’t want her living with them. It will be interesting to see how Sarah gets on, I don’t believe that she’s ever lived on her own so this will be interesting.

I don’t get Sarah, even if Charles gives her a home ala angela Kelly chances are Willy will take it away from her, second she has been moving in moneyed circles most of her life was her plan the rely on the goodness of strangers for ever. Where is her sense of self preservation? surely there was an expectation the gravy train would come to an end. Did she never understand how severe the JE case was ?

    • Mac says:

She clearly doesn’t understand the seriousness of the JE case and probably thinks she is a “victim” because she’s lost all of her grifts and her house.

I think everyone would be interested in a tell all book from Fergie. She has a lot of memories with Diana and the crown. They should tread lightly with her and give her a place to live. If they hated Spare what she could say would be earth shattering for the Monarchy

As we now know, tenants like Andrew have a 12-months-notice, so he will not have to leave until Octobre next year. Maybe he will try to sit this out even longer. So there is no hurry for Fergie either. Besides that, she has been like a cat for most of her life: she will always land on her feet…

I think that Edo nixxed her moving in with him. That man wants to be a full time Royal and it’s been funny watching it not happen.

She could make a lot of money if she wrote a honest memoir that reveals alllllllll the dirt in her family.

The intro could say something like “I’m not proud of what I’ve done, but let the chips fall where they may …”

Money would come from a big advance from the publisher OR a big payout from Charles to not publish. She better hurry, though – I doubt William would care.
