Princess Sofia’s mentor sent Sofia’s photo to Jeffrey Epstein in 2010

In December, Sweden’s Princess Sofia – maiden name Sofia Hellqvist – had to acknowledge that she used to move in Jeffrey Epstein’s circles. Sofia claimed, via Sweden’s royal office, that she “met” Epstein a few times in 2005, which was before he was arrested. The royal office later had to clarify even further, saying that when Sofia met Epstein, those meetings were always in social settings, as opposed to meeting Epstein privately at his home or visiting his island…although there is email evidence that Epstein invited Sofia (through a third party) to his island. Around all of these revelations, we also learned that Sofia’s “mentor” Barbro Ehnbom was the one trying to facilitate Sofia’s introduction to Epstein, and that Ehnbom was regularly in contact with Epstein, even after Epstein was in prison.

I wondered if the Swedish royal office was going to regret being so specific about when Sofia met Epstein, “in 2005” and in “social settings.” Well, in the latest batch of Epstein File documents, there was one interesting email to Epstein, from “BE.” I’m assuming that Barbro Ehnbom again. Subject heading: “Our Sofia” and the message was sent in 2010. “BE” says that Sofia will soon be “Princess Sofia” and the Swedish press is looking for her while she’s in Africa. Why… is BE still emailing photos of Sofia to Epstein in 2010? And this was five years before Sofia married Prince Carl Philip as well – he didn’t propose to Sofia until 2014. It’s possible BE is just joking around, but the whole thing is gross.

    Princess Sofia isn’t responsible for what other people wrote about her without her knowledge. It seems to me more and more that SofiaSofia was conceived and seen as a potential victim and I respect her if she doesn’t want to say anything, not all victims want to talk about what happened.

    So just to be clear…it’s frankly looking like Epstein was placed very very high up,was consulted by extremely famous powerful people in just about all countries in the world, they sought his advice, loans and counsel. Why??? In return he allowed and facilitated all kinds of horrible things done to young children. It literally looks like he had a huge hand in shaping world events for the last 25 years. How does someone get and keep that much power. Surely he was backed by at least one government but I think it was several.

      The most frequently mentioned governments are Israel & Russia. The Daily Mail actually has a pretty detailed breakdown of some of this (it’s the DM, so of course the headline is “Epstein sex empire was ‘KGB honeytrap'”). They state that Robert Maxwell was working with Israel & the USSR by the 1970s, eventually meeting Epstein through some business deals that are never explained.

      Exactly how Epstein met the senior Maxwell has long been shrouded in mystery, but there have been suggestions that he met Robert and a young Ghislaine much earlier than the 1990s, when they claimed to have met in New York after Robert’s death.

    Epstein was one of the financiers of Barbro’s company, so I think she was talking about Sofia and the possibility of her becoming princess as a way to demonstrate her success and thus secure further funding. Mrs. Barbro was a very influential figure in Swedish society: she worked on Wall Street ,she was a friend of one of the king’s sisters, she attended the Queen’s charity events and her sister was an embassy diplomat. So it’s understandable that the girls trusted her with such a background.

      How sad that she felt the need to send such a picture to Epstein. That seems like a private photo. If it was a published photo in the public domain, I could see her sending it to him to show off, but it’s still stupid. Using Princess Sophia this was should get this “mentor” ostracized, but I’m sure Barbro has enough money for it not to matter.

    I’m not sure why this bad for Sophia. None of the emails released make it look like she was a victim or friend of Epstein. It looks like her mentor was the one cozying up to him.

      Agreed. Has this Barbro received any flack from the swedish press or government? I haven’t seen any articles about her.
