Kim Kardashian & Lewis Hamilton hard-launched at the Super Bowl

Two weekends ago, the British tabloids had a big exclusive: Kim Kardashian flew to England to have a quiet, romantic weekend with Lewis Hamilton in the Cotswolds. They stayed at a luxury resort and they were seen by many people in and around the resort. Then Kim flew to Paris for work… and Lewis came with her. He didn’t appear at her Skims event, but he definitely joined her in Paris for a few days. Well, in case everyone missed the memo, this is now a hard launch. Kim and Lewis went to the Super Bowl together and they were seated front and center in the VIP section.

There’s a lot of crossover between tennis fans and Formula 1 fans, which means that a lot of the people I see online regularly are melting down about this relationship. I mean… yes, they’re hard launching and this is really happening, I’m not saying this is all make-believe. But I also think there’s more to the story (like business interests on both sides). Besides which, we’re talking about two 40-somethings. These are grown-ass adults, this isn’t some Heated Rivalry parasocial conspiracy whatever. Knowing Kim, this will probably burn out in less than six months.

I see zero affection or chemistry between them

  2. Chrissy says:

Yet another fake showmance? They seem annoyed at each other in the pic. Is he desperate to make his name in the US or does she want to expand her reach to the UK, or both?

  3. Lady Rae says:

Why are they doing this showmance? I’m interested in what is really gained here for either of them. They don’t need each other.

I think Kim loved being part of a power couple with Kanye and coupledom elevated her, helped distance herself from kardashiandom and gave her more of a legitimacy with the help of Anna Wintour. She might be chasing a similar high.

      • mightymolly says:

Didn’t she and Kanye get married at Candlestick park or something involving SF football? She seems to have a thing with Bay Area sports. Plus, her sisters keep outdoing her in power couple status. That was Kendall’s ex rockin’ the halftime show like no one in history, while Kanye, well. . .

I’ve come to the conclusion that, contrary to appearances, these two have a lot in common. They both love themselves and are interested in fashion. A perfect couple. He talks about himself, she talks about herself, and from time to time, they talk about clothes. Lewis needs a famous date to accompany him to the Oscars. Judging by his choice, it’s clear he probably didn’t have a choice after all. Nothing about this man is sincere or selfless.

  5. LeaTheFrench says:

    She looks terminally bored.

I genuinely don’t know what vacuous idiots find interesting, but people with real interests can find ways to enjoy most environments. I have zero interest in football, but I could have a blast talking to a new partner and trying to figure out the game if I were there for some reason.

  6. Jegede says:

    Kim actually looks a mess.

I’m surprised she didn’t go full glam squad for this premiere/presentation.

  7. Harla says:

Poor Lewis did this to throw up a smoke screen in order to hide his unending love for me (a beautiful older woman)! Kim is well aware that she doesn’t stand a chance but is willing to help out to lovers separated by space and time.

    • mightymolly says:

LMAO! That’s exactly how I feel about Pedro dancing in the half time show. He’s just trying to cheer himself up because I’m already married and our love is forbidden.
