Ciara and Russell Wilson are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in July. I’ve always liked them as a couple. They just give off good vibes and seem genuinely in love and supportive of each other. Ciara and Russell may have struck gold with one another and they are also apparently quite the matchmakers. At a Super Bowl party this past weekend, they revealed that they are now two-for-two in the love department. They’ve set up two different couples who are now engaged!
The Grammy winner, [Ciara] 40, and husband Russell Wilson, 37, caught up with PEOPLE on the carpet at The One Party by Uber on Feb. 6 during Super Bowl LX weekend — they say they love being able to help friends in the romance department.
“We get excited when we get to help our friends find love, and it brings us joy,” Ciara says.
“We believe in love, and whenever we can set people up, it’s always the best,” adds Wilson.
Ciara and Wilson initially introduced their friends Normani and DK Metcalf. The latter couple got engaged in March 2025. At the time, Ciara shared a screenshot from the FaceTime call during which she found out the good news.
“[Russell] and I knew when we introed yall 3yrs ago .. love was truly in the air! Now yall gon be booed up for forever!!” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “This was the best news! [DK and Normani], we love yall so much!”
Ciara and Wilson are also responsible for helping pals Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell get engaged in July 2025.
“It’s kind of a fun game for us at this point, but it makes us happy when people can experience love,” Ciara tells PEOPLE. “So yes, any chance we get, we’re going to do it.”
At the end of last year, Ciara also caught up with PEOPLE at the 2025 TikTok Awards, where she revealed she’s hoping for a number of things for herself for 2026 — including a tour.
“Oh my gosh, 2026, man. I’m manifesting more joy, more music, more success, you know what I’m saying?” Ciara said.
She added, “More zeros, you know what I’m saying? All that good stuff. I’m manifesting all the good things, okay? And [a] tour. Yeah, I’m excited.”
I love this! I may be a little bit biased, though, because Mr. Rosie and I were also set up through mutual friends who just had a feeling that we’d hit it off. While I love a good story about a random, chance meeting, I can’t discount the power of having friends or family that recognize when two people just seem perfect for one another. It’s pretty impressive that the Wilsons have now successfully paired four of their friends. Maybe their production company can develop some sort of reality TV series where they get to know a group of contestants for several months and then try to play matchmaker. It could be the opposite of Love is Blind.

I love this just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s great when family and friends are able to make good matches for their loved ones. Congratulations to both couples!
I love Cici and Russ. That’s all.
She is so beautiful and is even more jaw-droppingly gorgeous in person.
My brother-in-law used to play for the Broncos. We got to go to a home game in Denver at Mile High Stadium while Russell was still there and got to park in the lot with all the players. My partner and I were in the way as this beautiful Maybach pulled up. Imagine our surprise when gorgeous Ciara leaned out of the passenger seat to go, “Hey boys, mind if I pull into this spot?”
We just about died. She got out with some of her kids and the nanny, took pictures, and was just a delight. She was so sweet to my husband and me, wanting to know how long we’d been together, etc. She knew my sister because they’re both WAGs (wives and girlfriends). As a huge fan of Ciara’s music (what self-respecting gay millennial isn’t?!) I was so happy to find out what a kind, charming person she is in real life.
