Elle and Dakota Fanning were matchy in black at the VF Oscar party

I love how it’s Elle Fanning’s moment and her sister Dakota is there for her. Dakota is 32 and Elle is 27. You never get any competitive vibes from these two and they’re both so talented and watchable. I recently saw Dakota on All Her Fault with Sarah Snook and she was so good! Elle really shines in Sentimental Value, and it’s well worth the rental price. Elle and Dakota were at the VF Oscar party in black gowns. Elle wore a cool looking structural Givenchy and Dakota was in metallic embellished Zuhair Murad.

Zoe Saldana wore this navy sheer metallic lace Givenchy with a nude-toned bodysuit underneath. This is not cute!

Kaia Gerber looks like an AI facsimilie of a person but this red Givenchy is killer. I love the straight neckline and the side drape.

Keke Palmer was in a velvet Gucci gown with early-2000s hip cutouts. As Kaiser has been mentioning in her coverage there was a lot of retro-looking fashion, some of it more effective than others. Low riding fashion and hip cutouts should not be making a comeback.

Elle looks amazing. She really has the stature and grace to pull these kinds of dresses off.

I love their sisterhood too! They both have their styles too. Dakota goes for more traditional glam while Elle is more twee princessy. I love the black bow dress though and think it’s better than what she wore to the main event (which was fine but too fussy imo). The red piece is stunning on Kaia.

That red gown on Kaia is gorgeous! As she gets older she’s looking more like her mother & less like her father.

Zoe’s dress is definitely not cute! Neither are those shoes—what a random color! Or non-color, rather. She’d look better with a shoe in literally any crayola color—magenta, yellow, scarlet, emerald, lavender, hell, even burnt sienna!

Also, would it have killed her to do something with her hair and wear some eyeliner or some lipstick? She looks completely unfinished.

Zoe always looks like she found her looks on clearance at Nordstrom’s Rack or something. She’s is almost always a guaranteed miss for me, and I don’t understand why her looks are so off considering she is so beautiful.

Zoe Saldana, I did not want to think about your labia today. Put it all away!

    • BeanieBean says:

I like that she doesn’t care! She’s so pretty it doesn’t matter!

Elle and Dakota looked good. I did not like Keke’s look at all.

  5. Krista says:

Dakota looks comfortable and beautiful. Everyone else is trying too hard. Elle looks good but like she can’t breathe.

I honestly can’t tell the difference between Elle and Dakota. If either walked into a room, I wouldn’t know which was which.
