On the last day of March, Buckingham Palace finally confirmed that King Charles and his queen consort will undertake a state visit to the United States from April 27-30. Donald Trump will host a state dinner on the 28th, and at some point during the visit, Charles will address the US Congress. Basically no one wants this state visit to happen except for Trump. Charles doesn’t want to go, Camilla doesn’t want to go, Keir Starmer is totally over Trump, both Labour and the Tory parties f–king despise Trump, and the Trump administration is being especially belligerent towards the UK in recent months. It’s a total sh-tshow. Well, hilariously, Rep. Ro Khanna continues to get in Charles’ face about meeting Jeffrey Epstein’s victims. On Monday, Khanna released an open letter to Charles:
The lawmaker who led the charge for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files is calling on King Charles to meet with survivors of the convicted pedophile when he visits the U.S. next month. Charles is set to address a joint session of Congress during his tour to the U.S. in April, but Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna wants him to sit down with the women who’ve accused Epstein of abuse.
The group of survivors has been demanding accountability in the U.S., but their efforts and the slow release of files have helped topple a series of powerful men in recent months, including the former UK ambassador to the U.S. and the downfall of King Charles’s own brother, Andrew.
Khanna, who co-authored the law to release Epstein files with Rep. Thomas Massie, sent a letter to the British monarch at Buckingham Palace this week, pushing him to meet with survivors.
“As author of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, I respectfully ask that you privately meet with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s and Ghislaine Maxwell’s abuse, so they may speak to you directly about the ways powerful individuals and institutions failed them. Survivors want this meeting,” Khanna wrote.
In his letter, Khanna noted that the mounting pressure for answers regarding Epstein has reached far beyond the U.S., with renewed scrutiny of the convicted sex offender’s activities in the UK and whether public institutions there helped protect him. “Your call for a ‘full, fair and proper’ investigation, and for the law to take its course, recognizes the seriousness of these concerns,” Khanna wrote.
Khanna also pointed out that there are multiple investigations and probes into Epstein’s crime syndicate and that it would be arguably smart politics for Charles to get ahead of both the British and American investigations. Alas, Charles will be too busy meeting with Epstein associate Donald Trump.
A major update regarding King Charles and Queen Camilla’s state visit to the US has emerged. The King and Queen will not be able to meet with survivors of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during next month’s visit.
US congressman Ro Khanna wrote to the King on Monday to call for him to meet survivors privately during the state visit, which will take place in late April.
It is understood that the couple will not be able to meet survivors while there are ongoing UK police investigations into matters related to Epstein.
“It is understood that the couple will not be able to meet survivors while there are ongoing UK police investigations into matters related to Epstein…” Why? It’s not like Charles would be criminally charged, nor will he have to testify against his brother. Britain’s legal system would collapse before anything like that happened. There’s no legal reason why Charles couldn’t meet with some of the survivors and yet spend three days with known Epstein associate (and co-conspirator) Donald Trump. Also: will the royal protection officers tackle Ro Khanna if he tries to approach the king? LMAO.

This US visit will be an absurd dumpster fire.
They still have time to call it off…
This would be, like, the only acceptable reason for ever faking or exaggerating your cancer, right?
Yes! I mean, as long as they’re going with lame excuses–so sorry, the kind can’t meet with survivors while there’s an investigation going on!–might as well bring out, sorry, no my doctors advise against it at this time. Cancer, you know. 🤷♀️
Of course he did….
This visit should not happen–call it off simply for the fact that Trump and Hegseth have been trashing the British armed forces, accusing them of cowardice, etc. (and make it clear that’s the reason). Starmer should call it off, not Charles, in asserting the importance of the elected government. It would get Starmer some credit as well.
Yes! Another good idea.
Charles can’t be talking to anyone who could be a witness while the Police are investigating and neither can he do so when any charges against Andrew are before the Courts. It’s the law in the UK and everyone knows this. This is an attempt to grandstand and for this guy to get his name in the papers. Let the police and the CPS do their job?
LOL, nice try, palace apologist.
Ro Khanna isn’t merely grandstanding here. He’s been heroic in his efforts to get the Epstein files released and to get justice for Epstein survivors.
If the police in the U.S. and England had done their freaking jobs already, Ro Khanna would not have to be pressing for justice now.
I don’t think Charles needs to meet with the survivors and that has nothing to do with being a palace apologist. Charles isn’t under investigation and he won’t discuss Andrew’s mounting legal/criminal issues. This State Visit is not a good idea for many reasons but expecting Trump to allow Charles to pull attention away from him is not realistic.
I don’t really have an issue with Epstein’s name staying in the papers though. But no I didn’t ever expect Charles to speak to the Epstein victims.
The charges against Andrew are related to his work as trade envoy especially the allegations that he sent epstein confidential documents. They’re not related to sex trafficking or the allegations of abuse against Andrew. The chances that any of epstein’s victims would be called into court on what Andrew is actually charged with is pretty much 0.
Aren’t abused women (side-eyeingly) one of Camilla’s things? Maybe at least trot (teehee) her out, since they’ve all said that they’re ever so concerned for the victims.
Yes, Miranda, 100% this.
Get the popcorn ready! Steve Schmidt and company will be having a field day with the tampon and his horse. They are going to find out that Americans cannot be muzzled like they do the Brits.
The Windsors have no idea how to save themselves. His legacy will be tarnished by his utter rejection of the Sussexes and participating in the vile smear campaign against them. Has it ever been confirmed by Harry/Meghan that Charles has ever met little Lili in person? Charles is disgraceful. This state visit is a terrible idea. Mango’s inflammatory statements about the UK are enough to cancel the trip and Charles’s health provides a built in excuse. The UK needs to strengthen their alliances with Europe and within the Commonwealth and tell the US to kick rocks. Cozying up to an erratic senile pe#ophile is not a good look. I do wonder if these visits (Willy is supposed to make a separate trip later in the summer) are taking place to prevent more damning information about Willy and Charles from being released. Their roles as charity fundraisers working every quid pro quo angle has always been highly suspect. Andrew is only one card in the Windsor house of cards.
Drump wants the pictures because he and Melly are taller than the KING and QWEEN … he thinks that makes him stronger and better, because he is taller……he’s a twit.
They would be asking Charles how much he knew about his brother’s activities. Hell, Epstein and Maxwell were given exclusive access to royal residences and palaces. So, no, Charles is not going to have time for survivors of his brother’s crimes. Booked and busy. And this state visit is a bad look all around.
It’s not very realistic to expect a foreign head of state to meet survivors of his brother’s alleged crimes when a member of the trump administration – Pam Bondi – couldn’t swivel her chair round to look at them. As far as I know Charles isn’t in the Epstein files at all. Trump is in there tens? hundreds? of thousands of times. What are the US doing about that? Precious little so far. Charles shouldn’t be going for all sorts of reasons.
I kinda the get the King not wanting to meet the survivors but what’s Camilla’s excuse for not meeting them? You’d think as an advocate for survivors she would want to meet them. She made a big deal about meeting Gisele Pelicot why the reluctance to meet the Epstein survivors?
Yeah, exactly.
He’s not meeting the survivors because it would be a slap in the face to Trump, who is his host. It would vitiate the entire purpose of the visit. Like it or not. It’s the right call at the moment. I do hope he meets them later, I hope he will.
welp, no one deserves a slap in the face more than that pedo nazi
for a start
If we’re lucky at all, Charles will be meeting with Vance at the White House.
What a complicit POS.
It tracks. He probably blames the girls for his brother’s downfall and he certainly doesn’t give a shit about them either way.
Charles could have helped the Epstein survivors if he had spoken up about his brother 30 years ago. The RF all live in the same locality and had close contact with QE2. Charles had to have known about his brother’s actions and yes, in this case he is his brother’s keeper. The 🍊was neighbors with Epstein and he probably knew too. They deserve each other’s company, yuck.
Im not in to this family at all. But why should he? Talk to them about WHAT? He has nothing to do with it, as far as they’ve covered up for him, allegedly. He doesn’t have to meet the survivors, IMO
