Eddie Cibrian whines about his fame, fails to name-check “unfair fishbowl”

Eddie Cibrian Makes a Bank Run!

Eddie Cibrian is interviewed in this week’s Parade Magazine, and he continues to be a dipsh-t, basically. This isn’t as bad as the time when he complained about “when you reach a certain point in your career you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl”. No one, not even Eddie himself, can really out-do the amazing “unfair fishbowl” reference, but Eddie does try. I love how he consistently plays the victim in this interview… and I also love how he makes it seem like dating LeAnn Rimes is so f-cking boring and tedious. I can imagine.

If he had the power to heal.
“When I see my sons and any one of them is feeling bad or sick or they fall down and they scrape their knee and they’re crying, obviously, instinctually just as a father, you feel like, ‘Oh god, if I could just put my hand on them and make the pain go away.’ Every parent would really love to be able heal their pain, whether it’s minor or major.”

Miracles happen.
“I truly believe that. I mean, there are a lot of things that happen in life that you cannot explain. Even science can’t explain them. So you’ve got to think that there’s a higher power out there that’s actually creating them. A lot of people just say its luck, but I really believe that there’s something else out there that actually gives us miracles.”

Maybe a miracle would end the media attention surrounding his marriage break-up.
“You kind of realize you can’t really do anything in private. I feel bad for anybody who has to deal with something in their life that becomes public in the media. It’s been tough. I just try to remain steadfast in whatever decisions I make personally. There’s part of my life that’s great and part of my life that’s very difficult. But it doesn’t change the fact that what you do in your personal life is still personal and you have to keep it that way. The world can go on about whatever they think that you should be doing or shouldn’t be doing, but that doesn’t change anything.”

Finding romance with LeAnn Rimes.
“Basically, I hope it’s getting to be old news for everybody. Maybe at one point we had a concern about all the gossip and paparazzi frenzy, but not anymore. Now, when we feel like doing something, we just go out and do it.”

The best part of his new day job.
“Being on CSI: Miami has been great. I mean, I have a great role on a show that’s already popular. Usually, you’re in a new series worrying about whether it’s going to be popular or not. When I came in the ship was running smoothly. Ironically, I was up to speed because I’d just done a pilot in which I played the leader of an FBI evidence response team. I trained with some real FBI agents, so I’d sort of already been there.”

As for taking off his shirt in his first episode.
“I certainly wasn’t trying to be competitive. At least I had a reason; I was trying to save somebody. I mean, David Caruso takes his shirt off three or four times an episode.”

What he’s learned about on-screen passion.
“God, I started out on soap operas where every other scene was a love scene, so I got kind of broken in there. I’ve done some scenes on film and TV where things were even a little bit more risque. You’ve just got to make it look real and believable. No one gives you any advice. They kind of just stick you in the fire to see what happens and if you can handle it. I guess if I had to give somebody advice it would be, ‘Just try to forget that the cameras are there and try to enjoy it. And don’t forget the Altoids.'”

Setting the course for his future.
“There’s always decisions that you have to make and there’s always forks in the road and when you decide to go left, it decides to go right — you know, it takes you in a whole different direction. For me, I always think that what happens is meant to happen, and it happens for a reason, and so I accept it. I’m very optimistic and very just happy in nature. I think it’s born in me. Kindness always wins.”

So, what’s the verdict? Do you think Eddie really loves LeAnn? “Basically, I hope it’s getting to be old news for everybody… Now, when we feel like doing something, we just go out and do it.” I know what he’s saying, he’s trying to play the “we’re hounded every time we go out, it’s such a drag, but we have to ignore it” card. But it comes across like he finds the relationship boring. Maybe that’s just how I’m reading it, and obviously, how I think Eddie must feel. Also – isn’t LeAnn one of those celebrities that pap’s herself? Doesn’t she call them and tell them where she is? If Eddie finds the fame so suffocating, shouldn’t he tell LeAnn to stop calling the paparazzi?

I have to LOL at the “when you reach a certain part of your career” stuff, because I don’t think anyone cared about him, photographed him, followed him, etc until he dumped his wife for Leann, not because he was super famous for acting.

  2. nAynAy says:

Give me an F’ing break. He just made me throw up a little in my mouth. What is up with LeAnn’s face??? She always looks like she is suckin’ on a lemon. Her face is so mushed in.

  3. Maddie says:

Can any one be more clueless, this guy used to be on Third Watch, ironically, he played a fireman who cheated on his wife with her sister.

But really other than that, who would have known him as an actor the only reason why he is in the media spotlight is because, he left his wife and kids for his co-star (Tori and Dean) who are now being followed around by the papzzi.

There is no “when you reach a certain part of your career” unless this was a career move on his part, because the only reason why he is being followed is because of them cheating together, other than that, the crappy Nora Roberts movie was forgettable, as the acting.

  4. Cinderella says:

“Kindness always wins”. Surely he is not talking about himself or his lovely girlfriend.

  5. Guest says:

He really loves her. You can tell from the interview. He fell in love – not a crime.

  6. late night wigs says:

    Guest-

No, it isn’t a crime, but perhaps he should have had some common f*cking decency and broken up with/divorced his wife before he started throwing his d*ck in Horseface Rimes? Yes, you love who you love, but that does not give you a free pass or an excuse to hurt others because you can’t keep it in your pants for a few months. I am so sick of people making excuses for crap like this, but it’s OK because you reap what you sow. You think this behavior is OK, then don’t complain when your significant other does it to you…”Oops, I just fell in LUUUV, sorree!!” LOL!

And Eddie doesn’t love Horseface Rimes, he loves her MONEY. Look at her, she’s Seabiscuit’s long lost twin! A double-bagger for sure! NEEEIIIIGH!

  7. jj says:

OMG, he really is clueless. Anyone who read Mz. Rimes twitter. (Wewenlove), before she shut it down knows she has some screws loose. On and on how she loves her man and the “kiddos”, how unfair it is that his son will spend his birthay with his MOTHER and admits to stalking????? Brandi’s best revenge will be Always Ready Eddie’s life with this sick chick. At some point even her millions won’t be enough for him to stay. LR is talking up bouts of nausea, preggo??????

  8. Feebee says:

    He sounds up himself.

With his “David Caruso takes his shirt off 3 or 4 times an episode” comment, either he’s clueless or failed at sarcasm. Possibly he meant Caruso take his SUNGLASSES off 3 or 4 times. Or in the time since I stopped watching CSI Miami has Horatio Caine developed a strip fetish?

  9. Lisa says:

I think it’s very sad he left his beautiful wife and kids for ugly a** ms. Rimes!!!! His wife was so much prettier and what an ass he’s making of hi
    self!!!!

  10. TG says:

I can see why Leanne went for him he is hot. But, what does he see in her besides money? He can do so much better, of course he is a douche so he doesn’t deserve better. Hope his ex-wife can but these two losers behind her.

  11. Chelly says:

I rmbr him as “Cole” on Sunset Beach. O how I loved that soap. Anyway, that’s ancient history. He was and still is a hottie but boy is that Rimes character a dog. She has the goofiest, dumbest looks. Like she’s saying “yeah I upgraded from my gay husband and my new man is HOT and he loves me not my money a-yuck a-yuck a-yuck”

    Idiots

  12. Jeri says:

Whoa – lots of bitter people. I guess if you don’t fall into the latest formula “cookie cutter” beauty you are ugly.

I don’t support cheating on a spouse and yeah, they should have handled things differently, but what can they do about that now, the past is past and you live in the present.

  13. Maddie says:

@ jeri “The past is past and you live in the present.”

Not when your a known cheater, seems like people forgot that not only he was cheating on his wife with some other woman, when he was cheating with Leann, if you run from your past it will catch up with you.

The only thing that Eddie changed about himself is his marital status.

@Guest “He really loves her. You can tell from the interview. He fell in love – not a crime”

No but really how can you really know someone on a movie set with other people around and sneaking off to the motel to “do it”

Once the thrill of the photogs chasing them wears off, and he does another movie for Lifetime, lets see how much he loves her.

Oh and if he was so unhappy he would have left his marriage along time ago not cheat with two different women.

He just happened to pick the one richer than himself.

  14. LolaBella says:

@late night wigs: ” No, it isn’t a crime, but perhaps he should have had some common f*cking decency and broken up with/divorced his wife before he started throwing his d*ck in Horseface Rimes? ”

Damn, I think my co-worker and I just got into trouble with the boss because of our cackling, high-fiving, boisterous agreement when we read this!

ITA and wrote something similar on the Tiki post; if you want out of your marriage, be an adult and communicate with your spouse FIRST. Get the divorce and THEN you can screw/be with the other woman.

If she thinks you’re worth it and she truly loves you,, she’ll wait for you to be free.

  15. lin234 says:

I don’t remember seeing him in anything before this scandal. CSI Miami sucks the most out of the franchise. Horatio was pretty much why I stopped watching and I definitely won’t be watching it again with this guy on. Dude isn’t even that famous.

  16. Rita says:

    @JJ
You hit it on the head every time. I can’t believe how this pig will say anything. He and LeAnn tormentted his wife in every way imaginable and now he says “kindness” always wins out. He and Rimes are the two biggest hypocrites in LA. He’s still trying to get someone to watch the rerun of his “healing hands” movie because nobody watched it the first time. LeAnn must be paying the tv networks to run his crud over and over. Brandi should demand $5 mil up front, $50k per month support, full custody, and a new house before she agrees to a divorce. They put her through hell and she deserves a payout. The people who buy LeAnn’s music one day are the same people complaining about the lack of morality in this country the next day. LeAnn is her groupies’ queen of hypocracy.

  17. Rita says:

    Hey JJ,

I heard that LeAnn was taunting Brandi again under the twitter name Wewenlove. Did Rimes finally admit to stalking and does Brandi get her son on his birthday? LeAnn is such a coward to make posts and then shut down the site. She did the same thing when she slandered Carrie Underwood. I know that she twittered Deane Sheremet under Wewenlove. She told Deane how much she loved Eddie and it was their anniversary. Deane replied “That’s strange, you were still married a year ago.” How incredibly insensitive can Rimes get?

  18. Mistral says:

Every time I see that shit-eating grin of Leann’s I laugh really hard. She is horribly unattractive, and not a good actress, but she is having the time of her life banging Eddie. He is really hot, and her husband probably was gay, but she should have stayed away from the OPP.

  19. Kitten says:

He is so effin’ hot with the dimples. If we just wired his mouth shut he would be perfect.

  20. jj says:

    Hey Rita
LR’s twitter rant went on and on how sick she was of the lies, how unfair it was that “she” lies and gets her son on his birthday, the only reason she “followed” her was because she is sick of the lies.. Ad nauseum was all the love my man comments.
Sure sounds like a sick chick to me. Many of the other sites are full of LR’s peeps and they are so vicious. Thanks Rita for all of your great posts!

  21. j. ferber says:

He’s a hot, dumb guy and LeeAnn is a rich, dumb gal, so I suppose in some way, they make sense together. I agree with the poster who said Eddie is probably worth every penny LeeAnn has paid for him. I mean that, of course, in a totally hedonistic way. No way will he stay, though, since he’ll probably dump her for someone richer and more famous, someone who can help him more with his career. He can be bought, but never kept.

  22. jj says:

The fairy tale continues…….such a great love…..my life is perfect….
sorry gota go need to shower 🙂

  23. Sandy says:

LeAnne is not only horse face ugly outside, she is a spoiled nasty adulterous ho bag on the inside. Both of these pukes are worthless and their spouses are well rid of them, but now they need to pay pay pay and pay some more for the misery and humilation they caused to people claimed to “love”

  24. whateva says:

    two words:
    1) selfish
    2) liars

  25. Val says:

I’m always late but I’m going to post anyway.

    “Kindness”, give me a break!!

LeAnn pregnant? I think not. Imagine that household with LeAnn not being able to tour or take her psoriassis meds or booze it up, and she would have to give up her diet pills. Their bedroom would look like a snow-globe with skin flakes blowing around the Michelen Man stradling Tiny Tim. Eddie has supposedly been snipped but then maybe LeAnn snuck under the covers with her knife, needle, and thread to repair things. If so, she is merely pregnant with Eddie’s third child support payment because he forgot that old Western addage “Clear leather before you pull the trigger.” (In this context leather is both a noun, which is the holster, and an adjective which describes its texture and I don’t mean the smooth Corinthian leather.)

LeAnn’s sick of the lieing? Good Lord, the woman has built a carreer and made millions on lieing. She is pathological and she’s going to marry a compulsive. Without lieing, LeAnn Rimes would simply cease to exist.

Brandi, you have only one chance at securing your future. This is business so do not be accomodating. Eddie and LeAnn need to pay for their moral crimes, LeAnn will pay with cash and Eddie with three years of marriage to that nut. Take these two for everything they have.

I appologize if I have offended anyone with my off color remarks (This is in no way a referrence to LeAnn’s former Tigress days. By the way, I hope the little jackass doesn’t make the cut at the Master’s).

  26. lala says:

WOW they are supernatural people if they are smile all the time when they see papp..and I don t understand how he never say he was sorry for what he s done to his family

  27. kim says:

i’ve heard of this guy from this site only, he is not famous for anything really.

btw my sister is following leanne rhimes undercover twitter account and she’s really stalking his X.

  28. lala says:

    Well,
I really feel bad because I am saying something about this topic, but I liked EC as an actor, his role in CSI is mora mature tham in some soaps…I think he would have a great acting future, but with all this divorce thing and how he act after this I dont know if I like him s much…first because if is truth what LR doing to his wife…..
