Well… quite frankly… for having two kids and dealing with her issues for the past few years, I’d say she looks just fine in the before pictures, she is a lot less touched up than Madonna or SJP!

  2. Just a Poster says:

    Risa I agree!

  3. GatsbyGal says:

Eww, they made her calves smaller to the point where she looks like she’s gonna snap. Thank god they got rid of the camtoe, though.

  4. scout says:

She looks great in both before and afters….in the after, the main improvement is her skin – not so much as a freckle! 🙂

  5. lucy2 says:

I agree too, it looks like she’s in pretty good shape. I’ve seen more drastic retouching on lots of other celebs, including Jessica Alba. I hope things continue to improve for Britney.

  6. malina says:

She looks perfectly fine and just normal. I’ve always thought those candies ads are ridiculously photoshopped to the extend where she doesn’t even resemble herself anymore.I have no idea why they made her look so skinny when she looked just fine and evening her skin tone plus getting rid of cellulite and bruises would be enough.

  7. me says:

looks like they removed the camel toe, too.

  8. Anonandonandon says:

Check out celebslam to see the before and after match up gif. They photoshopped everything. They reduced her calves, thighs and waist and lengthened her stumpy legs. They even raised her butt a few inches. They may as well just CGI her image instead of having her pose. What is the point of photographing her body if they have to resize and move everything? Just put her in jeans and a t-shirt and have her look natural. They are selling shoes after all. Or, and I know this sounds crazy, hire someone attractive to model for the ad. Britney lost her cuteness years ago. She’s absolutely nothing special.

  9. Melinda says:

She looks great in the before picture.

  10. Annabelle says:

Oh come on! We are supposed to believe that’s unairbrushed? We have all seen her candid bikini photos. More like “some airbrushing vs massive airbrushing “

  11. Lilias says:

She actually looks pretty good, considering.

They didn’t do much to her.

  12. Erin says:

I think she looks just fine before too, but they seemed to leave out the slimming of her face too. There is more airbrushing than what they claim. I wish we never had any airbrushing…

  13. BoogeyBoogey says:

The first picture is already enviable– toned, well-proportioned, sexy. Photoshopping just to Photoshop doesn’t make me want to buy their shoes any more.
Hey, at least she’s not sitting on a toilet (I’m looking at you, Jenny McCarthy).

  14. jover says:

Agree Anonandonan; she is absolutely nothing special; there are thousands of models out there that could do this, look better doing it, and cost less. Advertisers are stuck on the same two dozen overexposed celebs, and celeb endorsers are just demonstrating their greed by branching out to product endorsement and branding.

  15. Ron says:

I like that she released them–I think that’s pretty cool of her and it gives girls an idea of what is done to pictures of celebs.

To the poster who said she looks better than Madonna and SJP, you certainly are a Rhodes Scholar. Madonna will be 52 this year, SJP will be 45, Britney will be 29…let’s hope she looks “better” at 29 than 52 you dimwit.

  16. frenchie says:

I say NOT ENOUGH, I wanna see the pictures before the liposuctions and other enhancements / arrangements that we common woman don’t get !

  17. d says:

I’m not going to pick on her because I choose to believe this is part of Britney’s attempt to regain some control of her life and her image. I think a lot of her problems came from intense pressure to be something she was not, to be on all the time, to be super hot all the time, to be perfect all the time, to look right all the time, to be a sex object all the time, etc., and that meant of a lot of people controlling her and her life, and that her life was all about image, etc. and not enough about what’s really important in a person. I’m sure that if anyone lived under the pressure she lived under for years and years, they’d snap too and have severe anxiety problems. Then again, posing for Candi seems to defeat that purpose….sigh…I sometimes wonder if people would lay off her if she just wore a clean pair of properly fitting jeans (like just regular Levis) and a plain t-shirt, sneakers, brushed her hair, had minimum makeup, etc. She’d look awesome. But then again, maybe that’s why she does look so unkempt when she goes out…it’s in direct opposition to the control she was under before. I ended up picking on her, ug. Sorry, kid. Wish you well. Showbiz is evil. Anyway, I think it’s cool she did this. There’s method there. So she doesn’t look like a supermodel in real life. I think that was her point, ya know?

  18. Emma says:

God I hate airbrushing. Wtf was wrong with her before? Airbrushing does nothing but create unrealistic goals for young girls. That body on the right is all but unattainable. And celebrities could stop this from happening! All they have to do is put a foot down and say no. And yes, they might lose jobs at first, but if everyone does, people WILL take note.

  19. mel says:

I think she’s hot either way. I appreciate her honesty and sharing the before and after pics.

  20. freckles says:

Honestly, she looked fine before! They didn’t seem to have done much. And #11, yes she looks much better here than in a candid bikini shot… but that’s thanks to our friend, lighting.

  21. LBees says:

She looks awesome– and since pretty much all pictures going for print are airbrushed (celebrity subject or not) it’s just great to see that they didn’t have much fixing to do.

She looks really good. And the photoshopping was much less obvious than a lot of recent celebrity ads (um, Demi Moore is the one that springs to mind.)

  22. Alex says:

People, wake up ! I work with Photoshop and photo improvements programs every day and I know a retouched photo when I see it! The before pictures are retouched too… Damn, they fooled you so easily!

  23. Zelda says:

I agree with the posters who said the before pic is airbrushed. And it is so overlit, you can barely see anything anyway.
She doesn’t look like EITHER of those photos in real life.

  24. late night wigs says:

THANK YOU to Alex and Zelda, it is so freaking obvious that the before pics are airbrushed as well. Um, hello, do we not see tons of pics of this swamp garbage flitting around LA with her flab flying? Who would think that even the before pic looks anything like the every day pics of Brit? It’s obvious!

God I hate when these celebtards pull this crap, because then everyone coos about how BRAAAVE they are, when it’s all smoke and mirrors, just less so than usual. And people fall for it…

  25. danielle says:

I think it’s great that she released these.

  26. PJ says:

Good for her! I’m glad Britney released these photos. Everyone — not just women — needs to understand that the photos they see are NOT REAL!

  27. paranel says:

She looks beautiful in “before” photos. She did not need the retouch. Good for you Britney.

  28. big feet bunny says:

there should be a disclaimer with airbrushed images. like “this image is not real.”

  29. Hi there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
