Knox Jolie (Pitt) stepped out with bright orange hair after a Muay Thai class

Here are some photos of Knox Jolie (Pitt) out and about this week. Backgrid says he was leaving a gym! We were just talking about the new hit show Off-Campus, and why producers hired a 28-year-old man to play a college kid. This is why, because this is what 17/18 year old boys look like these days. No disrespect, but teenage boys have become extremely baby-faced in the past twenty years. Still, you can tell that Knox is strong and athletic – apparently, he was leaving a Muay Thai class. He’s done Muay Thai for years now. (You know who else has done Muay Thai for years? Angelina Jolie’s first ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller.)

As you can see, Knox has bright orange hair these days. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed from my youth – teenagers love to change hair colors and experiment with Manic Panic dye. Orange isn’t his color, but I bet he would look good with blue hair. Or slime green? People have been putting up side-by-sides of Angelina with orange hair too, back in her wild youth. I love how Angelina’s wild-child past crops up in her kids in various ways. Shiloh and Zahara are probably the most like Angelina, I think. But maybe Knox is like his mom too.

Knox and Vivienne turn 18 years old in July. I wonder if either of them will head to college? We know that Angelina isn’t planning on staying in LA for much longer, so will Knox and Viv go wherever their mom is, or will they stay in LA? I could see Vivienne going to NYU or some university with a good performing arts/theater department.

I hope they applied to universities outside of the US. Get out of here and away from their sperm donor.

This reminds me *so much* of my son. It’s the combination of baby face and tough guy. You just want to smush those cheeks with kisses and they sort of lean into it reluctantly but GOD it’s the best 15 seconds of the day.

    • Deborah says:

The best 15 seconds, always! I am over here, hearing you out loud.

    • Smart&Messy says:

Such a heart warming comment. I wish you many more 15 seconds 💙🩷

My youngest son (fellow Choate grad—Go Boars!) is like this at 21. He’s got a baby face and head full of ringlets. I approach with caution and warn “I’m going to hug you now.” He’s gotten more tolerant these past few years which is good because I just can’t help myself. I pat that crown of bounce and smoosh that sweet face!

Knox’s dye job itself is gorgeous — my first thought was Oooh! phoenix rising!

But I agree, the colors don’t suit his skin tone at all. This takes a very specific complexion to avoid looking sickly.

Me thinks the family need to recruit Bronx hair colourist/stylist.💅💅💅

Cause it’s the same case with mum, Angelina.

Her platinum blonde doesn’t suit her skin tone at all and her dark roots make the pallid visage stand out more.

Regarding your comment below that Angie and James’s closeness was a sore point in the Brangelina marriage, who is your source ? One of the Pitt nieces? Angie & James were always close. I got that from the book she wrote. Pitt has siblings too. Why would that be an issue?

  4. jferber says:

Yeah, Knox looks adorable. So age appropriate!

  5. Jegede says:

The orange is too fraggle rock.🍠🍠🍠 He’ll look better with a shade of dark blonde.

  6. Deedee says:

He looks a bit like Angie’s brother.

    • Ambel says:

Oh, he looks a LOT like Angie’s brother. Bet that must irritate “alienated” dad.

      • Jegede says:

        I think the opposite.

James & Angie’s closeness was apparently another sore point in the marriage.

Pitt is probably relieved cause Knox’s resemblance to his uncle drives him not to care.

Ahh, manic panic, those were the days. I did pink and turquoise on my lower locks for years. The trick was to combine the color with conditioner if you wanted a more toned down or pastel-look. Anyways, love the hair and the style. Good for him. And to be fair, most high school shows are going to cast kids older than 18 so they can work more hours without schooling. So our idea of what is high school age is rarely accurate. Heartstoppers is one that felt like the ages were more true.

Every time I see one of Angelina’s kids, it just makes me so happy. I remember when her “adoption spree” was a ubiquitous joke, when she still had the “wild child” reputation and no one thought she would be a suitable parent, but she turned out to be perhaps the most amazing celebrity mom. All the kids seem so independent, and she’s really nurtured their passions. I just think they’re a beautiful, resilient family, and you can tell the siblings love each other and their mom fiercely.

  9. Michelle says:

Knox’s favourite MMA fighters all have bright coloured hair, he’s a teen following their style. Jonny lee Miller is very much a part of Angelina’s life, still great friends. I hope she moves to NYC. Her business is there, her friends are there, her older kids live there, Vivienne loves the theatre (Broadway) i think she’ll thrive in New York.

    • Bqm says:

I will forever ship Johnny Lee and Angie. I’d love to see them pull a Vanessa Redgrave/Franco Neri in late life. But it’s awesome that they’ve stayed so close and he’s never sold her out.

  10. Lianne says:

It might not be the best color for him, but its fun! I like it.

  11. Kaye says:

He’s a cutie, but his hair color is so startling that I can’t remember what he looked like before . . .

  12. Margaret84 says:

He has a baby face because he looks like his mom. I’ve seen some kids that look like they’re in their mid-thirties.

  13. Starry Owl says:

I love that he’s experimenting with color and self expression. It’s such an important thing to do as people.

Those colors are hard to keep vibrant but they look so bright and amazing. I’m glad he’s rocking his look.
