Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been loved up all over Boston the past month. It’s just in the past week that we’ve been seeing shadowy (“shady”) photos of Ryan and Blake, though. She was in Boston this past weekend for Ryan’s birthday, which seemed to involve hats, dark photos, sex, balloons and a very pretty dog’s side-eye. The new issue of Star Magazine has a “behind the scenes” story of what went down this past weekend, and there are too few details about the dog, honestly. But there is this odd little detail – apparently, Blake invited her family to Boston too, so Ryan has already done the “meet the family” thing. Weird, right? Much too soon.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ whirlwind romance is beginning to look like the real thing! The two are already super close, just weeks after Blake parted ways with Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan ended it with Sandra Bullock.
Blake and her new guy even hung out with Blake’s family during their latest weekend rendezvous in Boston. While Ryan, 35, shot the action-comedy R.I.P.D. on October 15, “Blake spent the entire day in his trailer,” an eyewitness tells Star. “later that day, they were chauffeured to Ryan’s apartment, where they spent the rest of the night alone together.”
Blake kept Ryan company on the set again the next day, and that evening, she was joined by her older sister, Robyn Lively. The two women were spotted laughing and holding hands outside Ryan’s apartment. But while her family obviously approves of the romance, some of Ryan and Blake’s friends are concerned that the couple are moving too fast, a source admits.
“Ryan and Blake put Sandra and Leo behind them so quickly and haven’t looked back. But for the most part, people are rooting for them. They seem perfect for each other.”

I doubt how “perfect” Blake and Ryan are for each other, but I hope/suspect that this relationship will last for a few months. Honestly, I kind of miss Blake and Leonardo together. I thought they made so much more sense, truly.
Anyway, Blake just arrived back in Boston and she was spotted moving a sh-tload of stuff into Ryan’s rented apartment. Hollyscoop notes, “Blake literally broke up with Leonardo DiCaprio and went straight to month five of boring relationship mode with Ryan Reynolds. Where was the obnoxious texting phase, or the seeing-other-people-to-make-each-other-jealous phase?” The Boston Herald also notes that Blake’s Maltipoo Penny has bonded with Ryan’s puppy Baxter, and that Penny and Baxter got to spend time together (with Blake and Ryan) at the Boston Public Garden.

Well, she introduced Leo to her family, as well. She invited him at her father’s birthday party. And it lasted only few weekends and a limited number of romantic gataways.
Apparently her family warmly welcomes all her new boyfriends.
I remember rumors to the effect that there was something happening between Ryan and Blake on set of Green Lantern. Ryan seems to get into serious relationships quickly. I see this lasting for a couple of years then dying just like Scarlett and Alanis.

My theory is that she thought she could change Leo, she thought she was going to be “the one”, she played the game and pushed a little too hard for an exclusive relationship while he’s in Australia shooting – she does seem to be the clingy type, the kind that won’t let go. I think Leo cut her short and she got back at him by doing all that PR moves trying to get us to believe she was the one doing the dumping – and Leo just let it be because he knows he’s above that, at least as far as Hollywood status goes. I think she’s rebounding with Ryan Reynolds and using press to show it off because she’s just the biggest famewhore out there.
Some people introduce family to the people they’re dating, not just the people they’re in a relationship with.
how are blake and ryan “perfect for each other”? I don’t get it. Blake seems like the most blah person. Yes, she is good looking but I don’t see how she is any better looking than thousands of girls on any college campus in America. She doesnt seem particularly smart, funny or interesting. I don’t see it.

People are giving Blake too much credit. To hear some talk, she’s this master planner/schemer/pr whiz. Pffft. I have no probelms believing this is legit. The rumors about the two of them have been around for a year so if they’re serious now, which I think they are, that’s not hard to believe either. I like them together.
I don’t think she has “game”. She seems like a clinger. She’s barely with RR and she’s already leaving stuff at his place, bonding with the dogs…way too steady for such a short time. Many men would have ditched that piece already.

My conspiracy is this:
She has been with Ryan the whole time (including while he was with Scarlet). Leo needed a public piece for awhile (maybe the whole herpes blind item?) and she didn’t want to look like a home wrecker but jumping in with Ryan right after the divorce.
So they put a little time between and now blam-o, they’re public.
This conspiracy is the ONLY way I can find this all interesting. Except Baxter. He should have his own posts.

I do recall at the time Ryan and Scarlett announced their divorce/separation, rumors were rampant it was because he’d hooked up with Blake Lively on set.
However, I might be crazy but I thought during the beginning of her relationship with DiCaprio, there was a report of the two of them out to dinner and joined by Ryan Reynolds. At the time it seemed to put an end to the home-wrecker gossip–> “see, they must just have been friends if he’s joining her on a date with another guy”.
Now, with this latest romance development it’s all very odd.
Yeah, I think Ryan cheated on Scarlett with Blake while filming Green Lantern. This would explain why they are practically living together in Boston. They put some space between them to avoid the Brangelina bad press because how convenient that as soon as his divorce is final they hook up again. They are both losers.

Q (34) – I agree with you and I want to add that the reason that Leo hooked up with Blake was to shake Bar. He seemed to be trying to lose her for awhile. Further, I think Blake did find out about him cheating (he’s Leo for God’s sake; did she expect fidelity?) and someone called it quits. Leo was definitely caught off guard with the Blake and Ryan scene and I think his PR dropped the rumor of him seeing two models.
I think that Ryan knows that being in a couple is good for his career, so he’s game for this. I think we’ll be getting a lot of pictures of these two as they “date”.

Also, when Ryan was in Cape Town filming, Blake flew into town and was there briefly. Coincidence? Hmmm. I’m starting to believe these two have been together the whole time. The whole shacking up together thing would seem seriously fast if they hadn’t already been a couple for awhile. And I don’t believe she and Leo JUST ‘broke up’. I’m thinking it happened back in early September, after she got back from her Oz visit. That’s a month before it was actually announced, which coincidentally was the day she was first spotted with Ryan in Boston. I don’t think she comes across as a clinger at all, I think she’s just really into her guy and wants to spend every second with him. We all know what that’s like.

I still believe his interest in Blake was genuine. Leo’s the biggest star in HW and doesnt need a PR girl. Much less one from a TV show.

Herpes rumors, whatever, he’s been in the business too long to know these rumors don’t stick for long. I think he was genuinely interested in her. Anyway, things seems intense for Blake and Ryan right now. They are pretty much together all the time. This weekend Ryan’s gone down to NYC to be with her so I guess he’s clinging too? I saw the pics of her and her sister leaving his Boston apartment a few weeks ago, she seems really happy. Can’t begrudge the girl some happiness, for however long it lasts.

If she were a Doctor, Lawyer or Engineer and she were dating a handsome rich man, friends and family would be delighted. This is the same case, but a different job. This is normal People. Ryan just turned 35, men as well want to settle down, both of them are the youngest siblings of strong Irish families. Their profession has nothing to do with the normal relationship between 2 consenting adults.

i don’t think sandy would get involved in a situation like that considering all she recently went through, even for a friend.
I feel that Leo was doing Harvey Weinstein a favor by having a fauxmance with Blake. Blake’s family are good friends with Harvey. In return, Weinstein would help Leo get studio backing for the “Wolf of Wall Street” a picture that Leo had been trying to get a studio to pick up since 2007. Blake needed something to distract attention away from her nude photos and the disaster that was “The Green Lantern”. She has been trying to get with Reynolds since they filmed that movie. Now that the fauxmance with Leo is over, Blake can pick up with Ryan.
But that conspiracy theory cannot explain why Leo was catting around / flirting UNDERCOVER with Blake since last Novemeber which he was.
They would have simply started the fauxmance as you call it in May and she wouldnt have to move in to his home whihc she did. She could have simply remained in NY for convenience purposes.
And Leo is the biggest star in HW right now even Spielberg kowtows to him. I find it hard to beleive he would need to blackmil/bribe anyone to his wishes.
