Wow! I LOVE Jlo’s body in this red dress! I think it’s so flattering and youthful on her – much more so than a plunging V-neckline would be. I don’t see “tightness” when I look at this form-fitting dress at all. I see young & juicy. (Way to go, Jlo!)

Do you ever think of something to say in your head and know, before you even type it, that you’re going to get criticized? And then you think about it, take a sip of red wine and think “what the hell?” I think this dress is horrible. It’s entirely TOO tight for her. I recognize that J-Lo has an amazing body – she really, really does. That she is in her 40’s and has that body is A-MAZING and I know she must workout like crazy and eat healthfully to stay in that kind of enviable shape. That said – for a woman in her 40’s with two children – regardless of having “the bod” and being a pop star and whatever – I dunno, I find it all so…ummm….undignified. I feel the same way about Madonna. Just because you CAN fit into things and even look GOOD in those things, doesn’t mean you SHOULD wear those things. Which isn’t to say that she should start dressing like Helen Mirren, but she needs to start picking and choosing. A little leg? Or a little cleavage? Or maybe a bare midriff (because she does have the abs to pull it off)? But not everything all at once. I know that may seem prudish or old-fashioned or not in keeping with “if it feels good/looks good, do it” attitude… but I don’t know. It just bugs me. Not in the way that makes me think less of J-Lo (like the way Kim Kardashian DEFINITELY makes me feel less of her), but it’s just…again…I dunno…. a little desperate. She’s a beautiful women with a killer body, but as someone well into her 40’s, she might want to re-think how to represent “sexy”. Sexy doesn’t always means flaunting all the goods all at once.
