Katie looks like me in the mornings.

    Love Melissa McCarthy! !

I was wondering when I would see these photos here! I’m working on this set and, let me tell you, Katie is a total attention whore. It’s hilarious and weird.

She looks exactly the same in person as in photos: tired/sad face, tall and really thin.

She was showing the DP, a young guy who did the current Zac Efron WAYF movie, some yoga moves in the diner. He was telling her how hard a simple move was and when prepping for the next setup, I guess she was feeling herself. Cuz homegirl was doing yoga moves- and asking the set photographer to take photos. So for an hour an entire cast and crew was waiting on Katie Holmes to be bored by her impromptu yoga photoshoot. Complete with a standing split in which she HAD to lift her one pant leg and show 1 full leg.

She would also start talking about “my child” and arrangements for Suri, then look around and see who’s listening. She would get a little more loud and dramatic before having the satisfaction of knowing someone in the room, besides the person she was talking to, heard her.

This girl is hungry. And it ain’t for food. Even tho she looks gaunt.

Now that I have shamefully admitted that I actually like the shirt that Katie has on in these pics, maybe you could tell me where it came from 😉

      • snowflake says:

Wow! Thanks for the tidbits. 😉

      • Christin says:

She certainly looks different in ads for Alterna (heavy photoshop, no doubt). She looks haggard in most every day photos.

      • LAK says:

        That is hysterical @mcraw.

I’m going to walk around with the image of KH doing impromptu yoga all day.

Hope she stops being so thirsty so you guys can actually work.

      • Jag says:

MCraw, thank you! Great laugh for my day. 🙂

      • Caitlin Bruce says:

Tbf The DP is really hot!! There was a daily mail article with pictures of her flirting with him maybe she fancies him.

      • Pandy says:

Ha! Was just coming on to snark that I think Robo looks ike this in real life anyway. Tom must have paid out the butt to shut her down – can’t believe she has the bank to finance her own movie.
At least that makes more sense than someone hiring her for a role.

  2. Jayna says:

Every time I see a photo of Katie this year I think that she’s not aging that well. I’m not talking about scenes from the movie she’s shooting. Maybe it’s just unflattering photos that i saw before. I don’t know.

    • JudyK says:

Wow, before I saw the lead pic I might not have agreed with you. She is really not pretty without the right hairdo–her forehead looks like it’s four blocks long.

  3. word says:

I never knew Dave and Alison were even dating. See celebs can keep their sh*t private if they really want to ! Congrats to them.

  4. Tiffany :) says:

I am so irritated at TMZ! With the news reporter shooting, they are saying “Williams claims the shooting was retaliation for Alison Parker and Adam Ward reporting him to human resources”

How is that possible when he left the station in 2001 and Alison was 24 years old when she was killed today? Was a 10 year old REALLY working at a news station and reporting coworkers to supervisors? Something isn’t right in the reporting of this crime.

    • bettyrose says:

I get what you’re saying about bad reporting but it’s sort of irrelevant why he did it, isn’t it? No excuse other than self defense or defense of another from immediate harm is EVER an excuse.

    • Brittney B. says:

I had to turn off CNN because their reporting was atrocious too. THREE hours after it happened, the anchor was still saying they got shot at a water park (it was a mall; they were discussing a water park) and that it was Allison’s first job in TV (it wasn’t). One minute on Google was more informative than a news network, and it was especially infuriating given the victims’ professions. CNN was also showing the video once an hour, and patting themselves on the back for including warnings beforehand and only doing it once per hour. The local station refused to air or share it; why can’t they respect their wishes on today of all days?

I just don’t understand the rush to gather a few facts and throw them together without even confirming the context or checking the source. This happened after the Boston bombing, too; hours upon hours of speculation. I don’t know why anyone still watches it. It’s getting harder and harder to find good examples of real journalism, and none of it is on TV.

      • Sam says:

I attribute it to the new 24/7 news cycle. It used to be that the news only ran at certain times (like the morning, lunchtime, dinner and the late evening). If something major happened, they would interrupt regular programming. But now there are whole channels devoted to news all the time. And they need to keep feeding the cycle to keep it going. but that creates a ton of “dead time” where the anchors need to fill somehow. Look at CNN’s coverage of the Malaysian plane. That was CONSTANT and culminated in Don Lemon trying to figure out how a black hole could swallow a plane. That was bad.

But that’s part of the problem. News now goes on forever. And they need to generate content somehow, and usually that’s by speculating.

    • Sam says:

He left the station in 2013 (he was fired under back circumstances). The station could not confirm if he ever worked with the victims or if anything overlapped. I also saw some reports speculating that he was an ex of some sort, but that seems really off-base.

Right now, I think is the time for waiting while the cops do their jobs and try to piece this guy together. They said he faxed a 23-page manifesto to an ABC station and the cops now have it. Let them work and we’ll find out later. Right now I think is just a time to be sad and mourn. All the other stuff will have its time. But we live in a rushed society and somebody needs to be speculating on something.

      • PrincessMe says:

Just to add to what you wrote, he allegedly made those allegations on twitter himself (based on twitter screenshots), so I won’t blame TMZ for reporting it. He claimed that he made some kind of complaint against her but they hired her anyway (so I guess whatever “incident” happened was while she was an intern). He also posted video of the shooting from his vantage point (didn’t watch it). The twitter account has now been deactivated.
Either way, this is sickening and scary and there’s no excuse. I wonder how the family of the victim feel now that he’s dead. Relieved or that he took the “easy” way out? My condolences to all the people hurt by this person’s actions. SMH

“I get what you’re saying about bad reporting but it’s sort of irrelevant why he did it, isn’t it? No excuse other than self defense or defense of another from immediate harm is EVER an excuse.”

Of course there is never an excuse, I wasn’t suggesting that there was a legitimate reason to shoot people. I think TMZ was participating in some victim blaming, and for that they should be ashamed, especially because in their rush to print rumors they didn’t stop and think if “revenge against these specific co-workers” was even logical given the ages of THESE co-workers. Spreading false information about the victims is the lowest of the low, IMO.

I agree, Sam. Now is the time to wait while facts are gathered.

      • bettyrose says:

Tiffany- I definitely didn’t think you were saying there was an excuse. I was just venting my frustration at the constant brushing off of gun violence as isolated incident and not a vast societal problem.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I share your frustration! It breaks my heart and makes me so angry that this keeps happening! “Vast societal problem” is a very accurate description.

    • Christin says:

It is now more than 15 hours after the event, and a CNN reporter just referred to the infamous Mustang, as his rented Chevy four-door was shown on screen.

So much has been mis-reported all day, but the interviews with former co-workers has been interesting. My current count is he allegedly lost three jobs in the past 15 years.

I had that green suede skirt. Vintage Express 1995. Well done costume dept. 🙂

The Virginia news shooting story is heartbreaking.

On a brighter note, I really love the Ghostbusters photo, and seeing so many women working on a film shoot.

  7. Sadie77az says:

Sad sad news day. So surreal how it all happened. I haven’t watched the killer’s POV vid yet, don’t think I want to. On a much much lighter silly note I have the same cut as Sarah Paulson, and it’s, frankly, a lot more work than when I had long hair. Special anti frizz shampoo/conditioner, anti frizz leave in, blow dry pin straight, product for heat style, then curl entire head starting midway up the shaft all to get the undone curl, I just woke up like this look. Oh, and i can only get one perfect day out of it- day 2 I have to re-curl spots without making them too curly. Needless to say 99% of the time I load it up with anti-heat product, dry it upside down (lazy), and then straighten the hell out of it. Please don’t ask me to list products- considering how many I own versus how many I use its just depressing 🙂

    • Christin says:

Against my better judgment, I watched the POV video. Unbelievable how cool and utterly calculating he was. I was amazed at how close he was to them for several seconds before he began the carnage.

They were just doing their jobs, and were so young. Just trying to start their careers and adult lives.

  8. Size Does Matter says:

Please tell me Katie’s movie is called “Walk of Shame” because that’s what her look screams to me.

    • Happy21 says:

Pretty sure that was already the name of a TERRIBLE Elizabeth Banks movie I suffered through last Summer!

Maybe this is Walk of Shame Part Deux or something 😉

  9. mary simon says:

Katie is dull and slovenly. She even pulled out those old ubiquitous horrid brown boots she wore during her divorce phase again recently. After all this time and with her money – she can’t junk those ugly things? I can’t tell if she is dressed for a part or not – this is kind of how she always looks.

  10. Sam says:

Honestly the Virginia story sort of makes everything else pale in comparison today. And it’s already bringing out everybody – the anti-gun, the pro-gun, the racists, etc.

He was fired from the station in 2013. That means he held this grudge and sat on it for at least 2 years. That struck me. When you’re dealing with that level of obsession and focus, I’m not truly sure anything in the world could have stopped him – legal or otherwise. I’m sure there will come a time when speculation about his mental state or motives will be appropriate, but that will come later.

  11. God says:

When Katie was under Tom’s control at least he made sure she was dressed appropriately. Now she looks like mess. Hope Tom has a word with her soon regarding her sartorial sense it reflects poorly on him.

  12. oop says:

    Good for Lily!

  13. bored_01 says:

I’m pretty sure that is a Guess top I bought last year. :/

  14. Tiffany says:

Zoe, those photos of the back of the kids head makes you look thirsty and idiotic. You want your kids to havd privacy, great. Let them have it.

    • Neah23 says:

THANKS YOU, I feel the same way. If she wants to protect her kids privacy find then don’t post any pictures of them, but to post pictures of the back of thier head show that she wants to show them off and at the same time she wants to get on her high horse and be able to complain about the lack of privacy.

  15. KBeth says:

I’ve always thought Katie was a beautiful woman but I’m watching Ray Donovan & holy hell, she looks awful. Her atrocious acting is no surprise but I am honestly stunned at how haggard she appears.

  16. JustCrimmles says:

A coworker showed me this video of the shooting before we left work today. We thought it was a random jerk shooting blanks into that reporter (which is horrid enough) but my god, how utterly viscous, sad, and totally effed up.

This is why the aliens don’t contact us. Thoughts to the families and friends of all involved.
