In Touch: Adult film star Danica Dillon claims she had ‘rough sex’ with Josh Duggar

1536 Cover_A1

In the wake of the news of Josh Duggar’s Ashley Madison account, several other pieces of news came out. Like, Josh had an undercover account with OKCupid (where he used some LA DJ’s photo) and he likely had an undercover Facebook account too. The Facebook account was pretty messy – he “friended” various young ladies, mostly strippers and maybe a few p0rn stars too. I thought that there ladies were probably “locals” in Arkansas. But maybe not. First, Radar reported that Josh might have met up with p0rn star named Danica Dillon. Now In Touch Weekly has the exclusive straight from Danica:

In a bombshell world-exclusive interview with In Touch magazine, stripper and porn star Danica Dillon, 28, reveals she had sex not once, but on two separate occasions, with Josh Duggar, both occurring when his wife, Anna, was pregnant with their fourth child!

Danica — who passed a polygraph test conducted for In Touch by a top certified polygrapher on Aug. 24 — details her two sexual encounters with Josh in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. The first occurred after Josh approached her at the Gold Club in Philadelphia, where she was performing, in mid-March and the second only a month later when Danica was performing at Creekside Cabaret in Colmar, Pa.

“He walked into the Gold Club like a normal patron and said he’d been a fan for a long time and has watched my career grow — he even said from before my boob job until recently — and that he loved watching my very first scene on [an adult website],” she tells In Touch. “Then it got creepy.”

After watching her show and “eyeballing me,” Danica says he bought $600 in private dances and then “asked me how would he be able to spend the evening with me.” She reveals to In Touch that Josh was violent with her when they had sex, he did not use protection and gave her thousands of dollars after their encounters.

Danica admits she “took the opportunity because Josh offered to gift [her] $1,500.” But soon after Josh arrived at her hotel room, things got rough.

“He was manhandling me, basically tossing me around like I was a rag doll,” Danica, whose real name is Ashley Lewis, and although the sex was consensual, “It was very traumatic. I’ve had rough sex before, but this was terrifying.”

Josh, identified as one of the cheating spouses in the Ashley Madison hack, confirmed in a statement that he was unfaithful and had a pornography addiction: “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”

“I think that after I come out, there will probably be plenty more girls after me,” Danica tells In Touch. “I actually really hope that his wife leaves him and takes his children away from him and leaves him a lonely, bitter man. I don’t think he deserves happiness.”

[From In Touch Weekly]

Whoa. When I had just read Radar’s story, I creeped on Danica Dillon’s social media and I was surprised that she wasn’t spilling the tea. But now we can see that she saved her exclusive story for In Touch Weekly. Do you believe her story? I believe her story. I especially believe that Josh is a total creeper, a psycho and the kind of guy who stalks p0rn stars on social media and then pays them for rough sex. This story is so disturbing. Ugh.

Update: In Touch Weekly now says Josh is planning to go to rehab for sex addiction. We’ll have more about that tomorrow.

Here are some pics of Danica:

    Oh I totally buy this.

Anna, when even your husband’s p0rn star hookup tells you to leave him, it’s time to go, girl!

    • Pedro45 says:

The time to leave him was when she found out he was a child molester. None of this Ashley Madison bs is worse than that.

      • Pinky says:

They had unprotected sex. That too is a deal breaker, ladies!

      • JWQ says:

Are you kidding, Pedro? It wasn’ t his fault those girls were such impudent harlots! (snort)

      • Velvet, Crushed says:

This cannot be repeated often enough, sadly.

      • Lara K says:

        Oh I agree for sure.
But I’m trying to put myself in her brainwashed shoes.

If the Ashley Madison thing hadn’t happened, the family would continue to preach “youthful indiscretion” about the molestation. Which is disgusting. But they would stick to that.

The Ashley Madison thing just underlined that he is not even remotely repentant or regretful. So the whole “youth” thing doesn’t hold water. Once the women start coming out, I hope it will help Anna see through the hypocrisy of the whole thing.

      • Pandy says:

Pedro – you are so right! I’m not totally sure I buy this story but I’m totally enjoying it.

      • Josefa says:

This so many times. I cant believe this AM scandal is even a thing after it’s been confirmed he’s a child molester.

      • Starrywonder says:

Lovely. Unprotected sex? He is the gift that just keeps on giving. She needs to leave.

      • Sarah says:

        Exactly!

    • bettyrose says:

Wait? Josh Duggar is a huge dbag with no respect for women? When did this happen?

    • Tifygodess24 says:

Imagine what they are putting into Anna’s ear to make sure she stays compliant! The things they are saying to her and telling her to keep her in her place? How she was the reason for this, the devil , the temptresses- everyone BUT Josh. This is what makes me sick. Josh may have made a statement saying whatever but that doesn’t mean that’s what they are pushing or believing behind closed doors. We are talking about a woman who grew up in a religion that doesn’t value her worth other than being a baby factory. She doesn’t know any better and will look at this as a test from God on her faith and how she wasn’t enough.

      • Mia V. says:

        She’s a hostage.

      • WinnieCoopersMom says:

I agree with Mia V..this is treading into Scientology/Katie Holmes territory..SCARY!

      • bondbabe says:

“Imagine what they are putting into Anna’s ear to make sure she stays compliant!”

I’m sure they’re sticking to Misogynist Cult Brainwashing 101:

You’re a woman, know your place.
        Forgiveness is the only way.
Josh is your husband, and as such, you must cleave to him, especially for your children’s sake.
You are a woman and have no skills, who will take care of you and your children?

      • holly hobby says:

Of course they will blame her for his fall from grace. I mean this happened when she was preggers and he wanted sex so he turned to a stripper. I believe this woman. It sounds like Josh.

That picture on top is disturbing. Clown car indeed.

    • lolab says:

I called this with the ashley madison site that someone he paid for sex(cause it’s clear this guy couldn’t get it for free) would come forward. The floodgates are open.

      • PrincessMe says:

This is what I thought as well. It’s still sad as heck – his poor wife and children. I hate believing things like this without proof, but Josh strikes me as the person who would do this kind of thing and I hope that she wouldn’t lie about something like this.
Gah! This is just a mess. I hope people around Anna aren’t pressuring her to stay with him and she can make up her mind on her own. I’m all for forgiving your partner, but this is lining up to be an even bigger mess than I imagined.

      • WinnieCoopersMom says:

After reading his OKCupid profile, I believe he would do this.

    • sherry says:

She’s not going anywhere. They’ve got her holed up in some mountain cabin in Arkansas with Josh and I’m sure controlling any information that may filter in so she doesn’t see it. Even if/when she does know about it, she doesn’t have the means to take care of herself and those 4 kids.

What really needs to happen is that brother of hers should negotiate a deal for her with one of the tabloids or networks for an exclusive interview, take that money, take the kids, buy a modest house near a college and get an education so she can move forward without that family.

      • Harrison says:

Practical idea. It would be awesome if she stood up for herself and her children in such an empowering way. I’m guessing she has no experience advocating for herself and I doubt she puts much stock in education. Sad situation. I’ve read tbe science on pedophiles. Apparently they can’t be rehabbed. I bet she leaves him someday, because he will never stop sexually victimizing people until he’s dead.

      • zinjojo says:

The Duggars have release a new statement that Josh has entered a long-term rehab center. It’s posted on Gawker — they also have tracked a late night flight made by a private plane owned by John David Duggar on August 24.

They’re also saying they’re offering their “love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future.” This means they have her somewhere on lockdown and are making sure she remains fully brainwashed and compliant.

      • Erin says:

Just imagine, she has a newborn baby right now. I can’t imagine what she is having to deal with.

    • OTHER RENEE says:

I’ll bet Anna is being forbidden to go near a computer right now for her “protection.”

    • Sara says:

That’s right. He’s even more f-cked up than I first thought. Cheating is one thing, basically paying to have rough sex with a stripper who doesn’t sound like she was into it is super gross. He sounds like he’s still a sexual predator and he likes to treat women like crap. I really hope his wife leaves him, he’s despicable.

      • SNAP says:

Well, in the case of the p0rn star…she could had stopped it as soon as things got too creepy for her and forfeit payment. Yet she is an adult who decided to provide a sexual service in exchange for money. She is no minor, she had a choice and she made it. Why even go for round 2 with him if he was so creepy. I guess the $1500 made the creepy factor more bearable for her? I mean let’s be real, they are two consenting adults, one paying for it and one accepting payment in exchange for something. Yes the circumstances are shady as heck but considering the source they could be even creepier. This guy is the gift that keeps on giving.

      • Emily C. says:

“she could had stopped it as soon as things got too creepy for her and forfeit payment”

        …how?

A man was being seriously violent toward her. And she’s gonna say “stop”? What do you think went through her head when he started to get super-violent? If you can’t imagine yourself in that position, I’ll tell you: “I need to get out of this without being killed or hurt even more than I’m being hurt now.” In other words, comply.

You cannot possibly believe that a man like this would stop because a woman told him to. Ever.

      • Jag says:

Emily C., while I definitely agree with you there, I do question – if she were so creeped out and scared regarding his treatment of her – why did she go back for seconds?

She disgusts me as well. Not because she’s a porn star or stripper, or even that she takes money from guys for sex. It’s because she had unprotected sex with a man whom she knew was married.

I am praying for Anna but don’t see things changing unless her brother can break her out of that cult.

    • SNAP says:

Not to normalize this at all or come across as justifying him bcs i’m not…but at least it seems his latest dalliances have been with consenting adults…whether at Ashley Madison or hiring a p0rn star. At least he was looking for grown up women as far as we know in the recent years.
Still, Anna could do much better without having to put up with this crap.

      • Ankhel says:

Josh is an opportunist to the core, he gets his kicks where and when he can. We can only hope that access to adult women means that kids aren’t as interesting to him anymore.
I certainly don’t believe he’s become a better person, or that he ever will be. He’s been caught twice now, he never learns.

  2. kri says:

OMG she looks like the damn Nanny.

    • Krista says:

      HAHAHAHAHAHA she does!!

    • SnarkySnarkers says:

That freaking nanny is everywhere! I love that she is and will be referred to as “The Nanny” forever and ever. Poor Fran Drescher though. As for Josh Duggar, I totally buy this story and he really is a disgusting piece of shit. I hope for the sake of those children his wife leaves him. Its scary to think of someone as unstable as he is around children let alone raising them.

    • kibbles says:

That porn star reminds me of some of the Duggar girls, specifically Jessa. He has a type doesn’t he?

      • doofus says:

when I first saw pics of him and his wife (when the molestation stories first broke), I thought it WAS one of his sisters. when I realized that woman was his wife, and how much she resembles the sisters that he molested, I felt so sick.

he DOES have a type, and his type is “girl that looks like my sisters”.

        *shudders*

      • korra says:

Ugh, dude! I can totally see that resemblance holy crap ewwwwwwww!!!!

      • Lake Mom says:

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Both his wife and his porn star look a lot like his sisters. His wife needs to run and run fast!

      • Rice says:

Maybe he has a Christian Grey Complex. That woman looks like his wife, who looks like his sisters, who look like his mother….OMG!!! That’s the root of all this grossness! He hates his mom, Michelle Duggar, and he’s acting out on all these females. And now I bet that Michelle is going to take 90% of the blame (10% will be taken by Anna).

      • I Choose Me says:

Even before I saw her picture I thought, bet she’s going to look similar to his wife who looks similar to his sisters. Lo and behold, she does. I take no comfort in being right though as it speaks to something very unsavoury about this man’s psychology. Even more so than has been reported I mean.

  3. Tate says:

Completely believable. I hope that brother of Anna’s can talk some sense into her.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

At this point I think it is impossible to know the truth. Everyone is going to believe the worst about Josh at this point, and even if he were to issue a truthful denial, it wouldn’t be believed. So maybe he did, and maybe he didn’t but either way he will be condemned as being guilty.

      • Bridget says:

It’s almost like he’s already been found guilty of trying to hide past crimes before…

      • Mary s says:

@Zwella, I most definitely believe the worst about him.

The worst I’m aware of (at this point) is his molestation of very very young children. You are talking about the molestation, aren’t you? Because wouldn’t you also feel molestation is the worst??? And didn’t he and his family already issue “truthful denials” about that???? Huh. You’re either trolling or just… I don’t know… yuck.

    • Chrissy says:

I so agree but I think they probably hid her away somewhere where the brother can’t get to her. So sick! Someone needs to help this woman and her family. Where are her parents and why aren’t they supporting their daughter at this terrible time? I can’t imagine two parents being so cold and heartless to just sacrifice their daughter and grandchildren’s well-being for the sake of their cult….
Also, just peeked at ROL and they say that Josh has now entered into a “long-term rehab facility.” Because it worked so well before, amirite? (Sorry, can’t link).

      • Jag says:

Her parents are helping the Duggars continue to brainwash her.

The only person looking out for Anna is her brother – the estranged one from the family.

  4. Amelia says:

There are not enough words in the English language to describe how revolting I find this pathetic excuse for a human being.
    Any ideas from other languages?
I hope Danica is alright, her experience sounds chilling. Desperately hoping Anna’s family pulls her out from this dirtbag’s thumb.

    • MonicaQ says:

Well “die Arschmade” in German translates to “ass maggot” but is usually used in place of “son of a b*tch”. “Der Scheisskerl” is “sh*t guy” aka “piece of sh*t” and “die Drecksau” is “dirty pig”. German is so creative.

I loved my time over seas.

      • doofus says:

        ass maggot?! DYING.

German IS so creative! who says they have no sense of humor?…

      • WinnieCoopersMom says:

What about “sh*tty ass maggot pig?” does that translate to “Scheisskerl die Arschmade Drecksau?”

      • Valois says:

I never heard the term “Arschmade” and I’m German myself 😀

      • MonicaQ says:

@Valois it was mainly used by the kids I tutored while they played with the kids from on base. I saw the shock on a few kind Frau’s faces.

      • Valois says:

Ah, I see, kids can be so creative!
I’d like to add “Flachwichser” (a combination of “fat” and “tosser”) and “Arschgeige” (ass violin).

    • Amelia says:

      ‘Ass maggot’.
I had a feeling German would come through with a winner. That and ‘Schadenfreude’ s this situation up nicely.

    • Wren says:

My I offer the word f*ckmuppet from another thread.

    • Rice says:

There might be in Klingorn, or Orc.

    • Sixer says:

I can offer you some British English – d!cksplash and/or wankstain?

    • Portland Jan says:

How about “hijo de puta” (Spanish, son of a whore), “Tete de merde (French, shithead) or “scheisskopf” (German, shithead)?
Oops, I almost forgot “backpfeifengesicht” (face that needs to be slapped.

      • Joan says:

Sale enculé …. salopard …. fils de pute —
Filthy French insults that are still too good for this a-hole of a Duggar.

(Clean your ears first for a translation. :))

    • snickers says:

      http://www.youswear.com/

      this could be helpful

    • Norman Bates' Mother says:

Most popular Polish insults are similar to the English ones, and those more creative are either super vulgar, random or sentence-long, so we would say that he’s a ram’s head (barani łeb), bitch’s cat (sukinkot), Turd of Clubs (dupek żołędny), who looks like half an ass behind the bush and bangs hedgehogs (let me skip translation on that).

  5. Heat says:

First of all, I DO believe that Josh did have sex with this woman. But I have to ask: Did “things get creepy” or “traumatic” on the first or second time that they were together???
    Also, honey, the $1,500 wasn’t a gift…you are a prostitute. Just sayin’

    #FREEANNA

    • Pedro45 says:

Why #FREEANNA? She knowingly married a child molester and then had kids with him. The only victims are her kids.

      • MG says:

Because Anna has been brainwashed, along with all the women in this despicable culture. They are taught to obey their husbands. No one is telling her, “I’ll support you if you want to leave him” (besides the brother) everyone is telling her, just pray, pray, pray and stay with your husband. It’s very sad.

    • Tiffany :) says:

This story made me sad for those reasons. $1500 isn’t that much to let that awful man be with you, much less abuse you.

    • K says:

Thank you! She did this twice so when did it get traumatic? When the checks stopped clearing? And yep she wasn’t gifted she was paid for her services she was a prositute so let’s not try to spin it sweetie.

I buy he did this though, I also buy if he is addicted to porn and his parents won’t have an honest and realistic conversation with their kids about sex that his fantasies and sexual behaviors would be very creepy and masogistic.

      • Amanda says:

Let’s not play slut shame the sex worker. It’s of sex workers have sex with scumbags even if they don’t want to — maybe she needed the money.

      • Amelia says:

        Exactly my thoughts, Amanda.

      • korra says:

        @Amanda yup.

      • Velvet, Crushed says:

The label you might put on this woman’s professional activities is absolutely irrelevant, @K.

      • K says:

@amanda this girl is clearly not in dire straights on the streets trying to feed her family. For whom I have no judgment for. You do what you have to do. This is a woman who makes good money as a stripper/porn star again no judgement acting like she wasn’t paid for sleeping with a man. She was. She wants to act morally superior when she slept with a man for a “gift” whom she knew was married. She claims it was traumatic but did it multiple times and then sold her story to get fame.

Sorry this isn’t a woman who turned to the sex trade because she was out of option this is a classless fame hungry opportunist, like Ben afflecks nanny. Just like he is a pig so is she.

      • FLORC says:

        Exactly Amanda

        K
You’re making major assumptions on a very bias opinion. You can’t know half the circumstances. You’re coloring in everything past she slept with someone for money.
And that’s, well it’s awful imo.
It might appear to be easy to turn to the oldest profession, but it’s far from as simple as you’ve stated you think it is.

I recommend you watch a Netflix docu called Hot Girls Wanted. They put up a good front, but inside they are hurt and suffering, while feeling constant shame and being used by all those around them. All to be spit out for someone younger.

I understand it’s your opinion on this, but it’s full of shaming and hate for people who have much worse demons than you’re bothering to take into account.

      • Heat says:

@amanda. No slut-shaming whatsoever. If this were, indeed, this woman’s profession, so be it. She’s a pr0n actress and also a stripper, claiming that she was ‘gifted’ money. The only shade I’m throwing is the fact that she’s claiming that it was a gift. I’m guessing In Touch also gave her a ‘gift’ for sharing the story.
Edit: I would also like to point out that, in NO WAY, do I feel that she or any other woman deserves to be mistreated/abused/roughed up.
Also, another edit: I was not aware that it was common practice for sex workers to use the term “gift” for legal reasons…makes sense, though.

      • belle de jour says:

        re ‘shaming the sex worker’:

According to the Daily Mail article, Dillon “…describes herself on Twitter as ‘the girl your husband dreams about’…”

If you consider the taunting tone of that little gem, I doubt there’s an enormous danger of her feeling much shame in this regard.

      • K says:

@florc no I’m judging her for selling a story for publicity, for acting like it was a gift and like she is doing Anna some big favor by sharing this when she is trolling for fame.

I have nothing but sympathy for sex workers it’s a horrible situation for people to be in. But I’m not going to act like someone who is trolling for fame and refers to herself as your husbands dream girl is some quality person who is trapped in a horrible situation. Sometimes people are icky and sorry this chick is icky, even if she is the less icky of the two.

Don’t assume I’m judging an entire group of people or dismissing horrible situations because I refuse to give this girl a free pass for famewhoring.

      • FLORC says:

        K
I reread it and while you’re stating you don’t judge you then continue a line of wording that is judging her and imo not only because she claims the money as a gift for service. Which is extremely common practice. In a great many professions too. It’s a loophole as i’m sure you know. To shade her is to shade everyone who accepted it no matter the job. IMO anyways.

I read overall your comment like there’s a foothold to attack her on. And the moral superiority part… I’m not getting it as much as you are. There’s nothing preachy there at all imo. She’s stating things having had time to look back at them. In that context I think many of us would sound that way.

In totally I think she’s exposed a situation and person in a way that needed to be done. And she might have been able to make a little money out of it. As long as she didn’t give a false statement for the money it’s all fine. And because someone makes an ok living in a job that has an extremely short lifespan doesn’t mean they can’t or shouldn’t try and grow their nest egg while they still can. As far and the FWing part. Simple solution. Don’t pay attention and that 15 minutes runs out faster.

      • AJ says:

+1 Amanda, Florc, Velvet, crushed. There is some pretty shocking shaming going on here, and it’s directed at the wrong person. Gross.

      • K 2 says:

        @Amanda – this. Thank you.

      • K says:

@florc I said I don’t judge sex workers do what you have to do feel terrible you are in that situation.

I am judging her same way I judge “the nanny” or that chick that sold her story about screwing Sandra bullocks ex husband or the trick who screwed Donald sterling. They are all gross people and don’t care about the spouses as long as they get some fame and $. This chick wants attention, she isn’t looking to expose a creep and just because Josh is a horrifying individual and he is, doesn’t make her less of an opportunist. She wants her 15 minutes she doesn’t care about anything else.

Sorry this isn’t some victim she knew who he was and that it could get her attention. Let’s not act like she is some victim. It truly diminishes what real victims of the sex trade go through.

      • kate says:

Comments such as this simply work to reaffirm a discourse of misogyny. Instead of thinking “ew why would she have unprotected sex with this guy twice” maybe you should be thankful that this has never been a viable option of survival for you.

      • jwoolman says:

I’m sure he paid in cash so there were no checks to clear.

And she wasn’t seeking him out as a repeat customer. He was looking for her because he’s watched porn with her in it. He approached her twice in two different locations and waved a big wad of cash in her face. Several thousand dollars is a lot of money in most places.

    • Ronda says:

i think “gift” is a term to not make it sound like prostitution because thats illegal in a lot of places. i think i heard “donation”, too.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

It’s actually very common terminology among sex workers, where there is (for good reason) a lot of concern about making it clear that the money is not payment for sex. “Gift,” “donation,” or, if you are a dominatrix, “offering.”

Approve or disapprove, but this can make the difference between charges filed or not. It’s standard lingo. And it’s a big reason why I believe her. The money sounds like what I would expect from someone who is primarily a dancer or porn actress, but who is open to meeting with “fans” privately.

Get out the popcorn. I suspect this is just the beginning of an epic Duggar takedown.

      • bellenola says:

        Get ALL the popcorn! 🙂

      • Sixer says:

Exactly, Miss J. I also refer everyone to the “affair guarantee” terminology that Ashley Madison itself used instead of “prostitution” for exactly the same reason.

    • Wren says:

A lot of porn stars are prostitutes as well, the porn is simply advertising. This may be how she earns her living. The semantics are for legality purposes. Being a sex worker doesn’t make her immune from trauma, and sometimes things seem fine at the time but when you go over it later you have different feelings.

I’m not judging her, she’s spot on about Josh (creeper, no respect for women) and nothing in her story seems unbelievable. And if SHE is telling his wife to leave him? Anna, gurl, run fast. She knows what she’s talking about.

    • littlemissnaughty says:

Well she’s not going to call herself a prostitute if it was illegal. So gift it is.

I have to say though, that phrase “[he] did not use protection”? Yeah, well, she didn’t either then.

      • Wren says:

He probably paid extra for that.

      • Betti says:

As Wren points out the ‘gift’ would have been substantially increased if their ‘friend’ didn’t want to use a condom – common practice.

      • maura says:

I struggle with that part too. If she is in an industry where being free from disease is pretty crucial if you want to carry on working, why let him do that?! He is on a whole other level of gross.

      • littlemissnaughty says:

Yes to all of you BUT that doesn’t change the fact. You got paid, fine, but make it sound like he sprung this on you then. You’re a responsible adult and if you’re willing to “work” without protection, own it. Your future co-stars might want to know because straight p0rn doesn’t usually involve condoms, does it?

      • Wren says:

Um, her future co-stars likely know all about it and do it themselves. I highly doubt this woman is doing anything unheard of or out of the way. It’s probably very standard stuff. There’s a reason they test porn actors for STDs all the time, and it isn’t simply for what they might encounter while acting.

      • FLORC says:

        Wren
They can get monthly tests or tests before filming. It’s actually required more than ever now. If knowingly expose yourself post testing, but pre filming is can result in HUGE legal issues and fines. And even greater if you did contract something and spread it to your cast. So, her costars are likely fine. I doubt she would have exposed this info without having made sure she followed the rules. Otherwise her career for health and safety reasons would be over. No rule following production would hire her.

      • Stacey Dresden says:

Well exactly. She had a contract at Golden Poon or whatever and surely that establishment has a license with the state (etc) which does NOT include prostitution.

      • Wren says:

FLORC: Totally. The fact that she’s talking about this with her name attached says that she’s probably not breaking the rules. Her co-stars probably do the same thing, this is part of the reason why there are rules. Sure it’s gross and repugnant to us, but I doubt she’d risk her livelihood by speaking up like this if she wasn’t careful.

    • mary simon says:

$1,500 isn’t nearly enough to have sex with this baby faced pervert. I wonder if they played “Big brother, little sister”?

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Not only that, but if you were so freaking terrified, why do it a 2nd time. This may be true, but it sounds to me like this gal is trying to board a publicity train for personal gain. Just my opinion.

    • meh says:

I’m sure she knows it was prostitution, but she is not going to admit to an illegal transaction in a national publication. JUST SAYING

  6. Aussie girl says:

    Surprise!!! Said no one.

    • Esteph says:

      ha!
just don’t say that around any of their followers or fans, they’ll probably pray for you

  7. Tracy says:

I’m no fan of Josh’s, but if her sexual encounter with Josh was so violent and “traumatizing”…why did she do it a second time?

    • JudyK says:

      $$$

    • Betsy says:

Lots of sex workers do. I’m not going to fault them for obviously a more difficult and complicated childhood that led them to a series of choices I have never had to make.

    • Miss Jupitero says:

Money. This is a rough life. The amount of money he offered her would be difficult to turn down.

Please let’s not judge her– if she was willing to have unprotected sex with a stranger, and then go back again, there is a really sad story in there.

There but for the whim of Cthulhu go I……

      • Louisa says:

“there is a really sad story in there” — THIS!

This whole story is just a sad mess and you know this woman is going to get dragged through the mud.

      • Wren says:

Yup. Blaming or judging her just takes away from how terrible of a person Josh is. He probably paid extra for bareback.

      • Tiffany :) says:

        I agree 100%.

      • GingerCrunch says:

Thanks for the Cthulhu saying, Miss Jupitero! I love that sentiment, but have trouble voicing the traditional version. Now I have a lovely alternative!

      • Saywhatwhen says:

USD1500 for sex without a condom? She is nuts and he is revolting! Absolutely no care for his wife and children. What he has exposed her and their child to only God knows.

    • FLORC says:

We all repeat mistakes. No one here can say they haven’t. Maybe not this, but others. Gone back to an abusive spouse even. It’s so easy to say 1st time that happens you’re gone, but it’s not easy to act on that. But here we don’t have to act. We can just judge the choices of someone that may have felt there was no choice. And after the 2nd time they didn’t repeat for a 3rd that would then indicate a pattern behavior. They left before that.

People are too preachy here with high horses. Not preaching the same as Duggars, but on par with the shaming.

    • K 2 says:

There are now quotes in the Daily Mail. Apparently, he approached her, apologised and said she’d seemed okay with it in her movies and he’d thought that was real (ding ding ding to whoever commented that Josh thinks porn is normal) and then offered her the money again, and as he’d stiffed her and only paid a grand of the promised 1.5 for the last time, she went with it. And by it, I mean JD. And he was less aggressive, apparently.

Nobody outside Duggarville knew he was an incestuous pedophile back then, either.

  8. ThatMitsyGirl says:

Sex w/ a stranger without protection? Ugh. So scary.

  9. Nancy says:

Very well could be true. It could also be a Tiger Woods, Bill Cosby scenario where other women pop up for legit reasons and others to get ink. I sure wouldn’t want to be anywhere near any of the Duggars…..their heads must be spinning in an Exorcist kind of a way.

    • Betsy says:

Who exactly of Bill’s victims has popped up because she “needs the ink”?

      • Nancy says:

I could give you my opinion but you seem angry so I won’t. I’ll generalize and say when you have 100 people accusing anyone of something, a small portion won’t be telling the truth. I am in no way calling anyone a liar. One woman who accused Cosby is a woman who loves drama and controversy , was a self-professed drug addict and doesn’t scream victim to me, although she very well could be, her initials are JD. It’s strange I won’t say Janice because rape victims names are generally withheld, so I feel an obligation to protect her even though she’s been on every outlet possible. Go figure.

      • Betsy says:

From one sentence you determine I’m angry? Hmm…

      • Nancy says:

I said “seemed angry.” Now I would say not angry, confrontational. I was talking about the subject at hand and you’re talking to me….so there you go.

      • supposedtobeworking says:

@Nancy, so you think only calm, drama free people can be legitimate victims?

        FFS.
I imagine there is a huge number of people in modelling, acting and singing that love attention, performing, calling attention to themselves. That does not negate the fact that some of them have also experienced trauma and abuse or that they have less of a right to that someone with a less vivacious personality.

I would be grateful for someone like JD being so willing to be public, open and vocal for those who have less of a voice or are less comfortable speaking in public. She can raise awareness, keep the conversation going and speak to the industry and the predatory men in it, which can help move any potential case and awareness forward.

Just because someone isn’t your ideal victim doesn’t mean they aren’t one.

      • Nancy says:

@supposedtobeworking: Obviously I am unable to articulate my opinions so as not to offend today. Personally, I think Janice is out there and never found attention she didn’t like. With that said, I didn’t accuse her of lying. She may well indeed be another one of his victims. My original point was whenever there is a sensationalized story in the media, one by one the victims appear, in this case many decades later. By the time you get to about 50 or so, names are dropping from the sky. Each and every woman may be telling their truth….and it’s theirs to tell. I was talking about a stripper who claims to have been with Duggar. Before this story ends, and I hope it is soon, there will be many woman who claim they were with him, some were, some possibly weren’t. The world is crazy and I can say that for a fact as I am watching the story now of the two newscasters killed and the killer taped his slaughter. Good day to all.

  10. SypherMomma says:

Ugh, he’s such a creep. Allegedly they have Anna,Josh and the kids lying low in the backwoods…but part of me fears that they are just using the isolation/time to brainwash Anna more. I can picture it in my mind “If only you had been more available”, “you need to pray harder”, “God would want you to forgive”….

I feel bad for Anna, I’m holding out hope that she escapes this family. Her brother is at least offering her a way out, also Jessa (or whomever is controlling her fb page) has deleted all of his comments or any comments that are at all negative.

    • Wonderbunny says:

I hope that if she doesn’t, people will not guilt trip her for staying. She’s damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t.

    • Louisa says:

It wouldn’t surprise me if his wife doesn’t even hear about this story. You know she’s being kept from the internet / TV etc. She will be surrounded by people hiding all this sh*t from her and telling her to be strong, to pray, to forgive. That she is partly to blame. I can’t imagine she is strong enough to fight that.

    • K 2 says:

Oh, I’m pretty sure they will let her know. This woman fits so much better with their narrative that Satan set a trap for him than an average Jane – it’s the full Sodom and Gemorrah. Plus they can plausibly tell her the woman is a lying liar who tempted and taunted Josh into it when he was weak because she was pregnant and not putting out much/less attractive to him.

It was all Satan! This woman is involved in the pron industry. What better Jezebel to blame?

  11. cleveland girl says:

I totally believe this story. I also believe that he is just the first of the Duggar children to be exposed as a sexual deviant. I hope I am wrong, but I think at least 2 or 3 of the other kids will grow up to be interested in drugs/sex whatever… This is what happens in a totally oppressed childhood.

    • Kitten says:

“I totally believe this story. I also believe that he is just the first of the Duggar children to be exposed as a sexual deviant.”

      Totally agree. Also, f*ck TLC.

      • NGBoston says:

^^^^. This! Yes, eff Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar! You created a Monster! Sooo gross– are you proud now???

I despise them and this creep– and eff TLC as well for taking so long to cancel this show.

      • littlestar says:

Yep, F TLC! I haven’t watched that channel since the Duggar scandal broke, and I have no intentions of watching it again.

      • Jag says:

Honestly, I’m glad that TLC gave them a platform and made them famous.

        Why you ask?

Because if they had not made the Duggars famous, no one would know about that sub-human and no one would be watching to try to protect his children.

Just like the Honey Boo Boo, but hopefully with a better result considering that her mother is now shacking up with the pedophile and letting him be around her children – even though CPS said that she couldn’t do that.

    • Wren says:

I wish it weren’t so but you’re probably right. Josh went so far off the rails he can’t be the only one suffering from such a twisted, repressed upbringing.

All I hope is that if (when) such things come to life it continues to undermine their ivory tower of righteousness, because that ivory tower is nothing more than an illusion.

      • Wonderbunny says:

There is a silver lining though. I hope that all this would raise a discussion about what happens when you repress things that are part of human existence. You can be religious and love Jesus and still be accepting of human needs. If you keep denying reality, the pendulum will eventually swing the other way in full force.

    • Emily C. says:

The entire cult is entirely sexually disgusting. It teaches that women are baby factories to be used by their husbands however they see fit. That’s the basis of the entire thing. And then people are surprised that, gasp, men act the way they were taught to act their whole lives?

  12. zimmer says:

Ugh. Can’t imagine being with someone twice after such a rough encounter.

  13. Kath says:

He sounds like someone who got his entire sexual education from watching porn and thought this sort of violence was ‘normal’. As Naomi Wolf points out, this is not unusual in this day and age, and it means that a generation of young men have grown up watching extreme porn and thinking that is the way to have sex (as evidenced by the growing number of ‘intimate’ physical injuries reported by women on college campuses). Sorry for that gross level of detail.

But yeah, what have we got so far?

    – child molester
    – adulterer
    – woman abuser
    – moralising hypocrite

That’s some good parentin’ right there.

    • Kitten says:

      But God and stuff!!! Forgiveness!!!!!

    • zimmer says:

Yep, makes sense that Meechelle and Dim But are raising the perfect misogynists.

    • Mayamae says:

I watched a special on this topic. There’s an entire generation who think porn sex is normal sex. The majority of children have seen online lorn by the age of thirteen. There’s actually a website (can’t recall the site name), that’s made up of normal people recording and posting their sexual encounters, in an attempt to offset porn sex.

      • Crumpet says:

        Porn is sick. The end.

      • Kitten says:

        That’s so depressing, Mayamae.

I don’t necessarily think pr0n should be demonized, but I don’t think it should be normalized either. I mean, normalized in the sense that “this is what sex is like”.
That would be a very gross thought to me since women are so often treated like objects in pornography.

@Crumpet-I have mixed feelings about pr0n. I kind of accept it as a sexual outlet that most men utilize and in that sense, I don’t see it as innately harmful. Yet the way women are shown as c*m receptacles or wet holes (excuse my language but I’m not sure how else to put it) is destructive to both men and women. I don’t know…are female pr0n stars victims or are they just savvy business women who know how to detach from sex? Or do they enjoy it on some level? It’s all a mystery to me. The idea of being treated that way by men seems so unappealing, regardless of how potentially lucrative it may be.

      • platypus says:

I do think men (and women, though maybe to a smaller degree) are being desensitized to “normal” sex acts through watching porn, but I don’t think porn is inheretly bad, just that people need to be aware of this potential issue… Maybe it should be included in sex-ed?

With this pro-sex revolution, it’s become so black and white that you can’t bring up any potential issues regarding porn without being seen as a sex-negative or close-minded prude, and THAT is the problem. It’s just a matter of being conscientious about it, and not a mindless consumer, like with everything else. Like every other industry, they will always come up with something new and more exciting to sell, it truly never ends… And people don’t want to think about the fact that they’re letting an INDUSTRY control such a huge and important part of themselves, to such a large degree that it impacts their personal relationships.

    • Mia4S says:

I think you are right on @Kath. Shows once again how vital sex education is for boys and girls in this day and age. Particularly on consent and discussion of wants and preferences.

I feel a little sick thinking of what he may have done/be doing with his wife; a girl with no education. Do you think she was ever taught that sex is and can be incredibly great and pleasurable with the right partner? That you can tell your partner what feels good and what doesn’t? Nope. She’s living in 1815 in 2015.

      • Betsy says:

        That poor woman. : (

      • KendraWM says:

I have no doubt that he must be the worlds worst lay. No sexual education, “learned” through molesting his sisters and once out of the house through watching porn. Anna didn’t even know what sex was until 2 weeks before her wedding. And you just know that she has never been satisfied. He sure as hell would make sure of that, after all if sex gave her pleasure rather than just a baby, she may get other crazy ideas in her head. Independent thoughts.

      • Emily C. says:

I read the blog of a woman who grew up in a similar Christian cult, but happily broke free. She used to pray to God to cure her of the desire to masturbate when she was an adolescent. The reason she was given for masturbation being evil was that IT WOULD FEEL SO GOOD NO MAN COULD COMPARE. And that therefore it would hurt her future husband’s feelings.

It’s just — it’s so sad, but it also needs to be stopped. The countless women trapped in these cults have to be shown other options. The men too; being trained to believe you are the center of the universe and allowed to do anything you want to your wife does not a happy, well-balanced person make.

    • Wren says:

Well where else was he supposed to learn it? His parents? Ha, as if! School? He didn’t go to school. Peers? They were likely just as clueless as him. Church? ROFL.

Honestly I kinda doubt he was having this kind of sex with his wife. It really seems to me (not sure why but the impression is strong) like he’d have a sort of “mob boss” mentality going on. Sex with his wife would be somewhat chaste, nothing kinky, done almost as a duty. Sex with sidepieces or mistresses would be the “hot” rough sex. Anna looks like she might lay there like a dead fish and let him get it over with anyway (not that I blame her at all), so I bet he went looking for his “porn sex” elsewhere.

    • Belle says:

I’d say the rough sex came not only from p)rn but also his upbringing. He was raised to see women as second-class and women outside the cult even lower than that. To him a sex worker probably isn’t even a human being, so he probably felt he could do as he liked as she ‘deserved’ it for being a ‘whore’.

    • littlestar says:

“He sounds like someone who got his entire sexual education from watching porn and thought this sort of violence was ‘normal’.”

OMG. This is SUCH a good point. He had zero education about sex and consent growing up, it is so so likely that he believes sexual violence towards women is normal if he used pron as his “teacher”.

    • Wonderbunny says:

That is a very good point. I would like to add couple of thoughts though.

      1) I remember reading somewhere that in Saudi Arabia, where sexuality is repressed everywhere in society, the porn that is passed around underground gets rather extreme. The more you repress something, the more it will build up along with aggression and will come out in weird ways.

      2) Some people like rough sex, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just that a skilled lover can pull off rough sex better, because they’re aware of their partner’s emotional level and responses. Someone who’s lacking in sexual and social skills can come off in a very, very creepy way when they try to do the same.

I would actually bet that he’s not into rough sex because he hates women or something like that. I just think he’s messed up and clueless.

  14. Neelyo says:

If any more of these revelations come out, the cult will have to sacrifice Josh to restore order and it will end up just like THE WICKER MAN!

  15. Kitten says:

Absolutely believe it. He’s admitted he had a porn obsession and I could see it being his ultimate fantasy to bed a porn star.

Right about now it would be fun to look back at some older Duggar posts, from when Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal first broke. SO many astute commenters said that this was just the beginning, the first shoe to drop. Looks like y’all were right huh?
I cringe to think about what’s next.

    • BlueNailsBetty says:

Gay sex. I still think ol’ Josh’s sex thoughts sometimes swing towards gay sex.

      • Nancy says:

He described himself as a big husky boy who wanted to give and get oral. Don’t know about gay. I think his life at home was probably very missionary and baby making situations. Who knows, with 19 kids, the genetics must get thrown and you’re going to have a gay or two in there or at least bi…..then all the things they’re trained not to do probably become more desirable to do. I though Kate Gosselin was the worst ever possible person to breath air when I saw her on TLC….and she still is…..but at least she didn’t pretend to be righteous…..well actually she did….but I digress.

      • Kitten says:

Kate Gosselin is a terrible person. Awful, abrasive, and unlikable human being. But she’s nowhere near Duggar-level of awful. Which is saying a lot because Kate is a monster.

I don’t think Josh is gay…but that would be amazing. Although I doubt the LGBT community would want him 😉

  16. Dani L. says:

Gross gross gross gross gross gross *insert vomit emoji*

  17. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Isn’t prostitution illegal? Why are they both not arrested after she just admitted to selling sex? Because she called it consensual sex with a promise of a “gift” of money? I would love to see his slimy ass in jail. Don’t care about her, as her life seems pretty much like hell already, but that would be one way to get Josh away from those kids.

Actually, I don’t believe her. She said it was traumatic and terrifying. But she did it on two separate occasions? Because it was so terrible? In Touch probably paid her. Sorry, “gifted” her money.

    • Zip says:

Actually, when you look at it porn is also prostitution. People fuck each other for money and it also gets filmed and the tapes are sold. I never understood why one thing is legal and the other one is not (at least large parts of the US).

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I can see some differences. While I think the porn industry has many of the same issues of exploitation as prostitution, theoretically, the women are in a protected environment. They don’t just go off with a total stranger to an isolated spot where they are vulnerable and anything can happen, including murder. Don’t get me wrong – I’m sure many of them are drugged, addicts, coerced or forced to do the things they do, but I can see the difference in theory. I don’t think prositution should be illegal because I want to punish the women who are sucked into it. I think it should be illegal to protect them. The way we handle it protects them very poorly, but if we went after the pimps and Johns instead of the women, maybe it could be stopped or slowed down.

      • grumpy bird says:

@GNAT some of the differences between the two stem from the fact that porn is legal i.e. women are in a safe environment because it is legal. If an actor is beaten, abused, refused payment etc., they have the option of going to the police or court; a sex worker does not. I’m not saying prostitution should be legalized just pointing out that porn benefits from being legal and if it were illegal I think actors would be more vulnerable.

    • Neah23 says:

Just because did it on two separate occasions don’t mean she lying. Do you know how many times the average prostitutes gets beaten, drug, gang rape by there johns and still wake up and do it the next day.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I see no reason to believe she wouldn’t do anything, including making this up, for money. Since we already know she would do anything, including repeat an experience she claimed was terrifying and traumatic, for money. I have no doubt that Josh would have done what she said and worse. I just don’t see a lot of reason to hang my hat on the word of this particular person. She might be telling the truth, she might be making it up because she saw an opportunity to make money. Who knows?

And yes, I’m aware of the horrifying life led by prostitutes, and how many of them are exploited, forced, raped, beaten, held captive and killed. Women and children. That’s why it turns my stomach when people try to give prostitution fluffy little names and claim it’s a legitimate career choice. It’s illegal. And it should be.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Making it illegal makes it more dangerous in my opinion. It further isolates women who are genuine victims and makes them further victims of the legal system.

I don’t think anyone (i.e., Amnesty International) presents prostitution as a “fluffy” career choice, but they recognize, rightly I think, that depriving sex workers of a proper legal standing and basic human rights makes them more vulnerable to exploitation, and makes it more likely that they will keep silent about criminal activity.

It is all a question of what course will make the problem better and reduce human suffering. Giving women reason to fear the law, arresting them, deporting them, giving them police records which will make it impossible for them to access education and job training, etc. doesn’t make the problem better, it makes it worse.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I’m familiar with that argument, Miss Jupitero. But it’s my understanding that in countries where prostitution has been legalized, illegal trafficking has not lessened, trafficking of minors has not lessened and abuse has not lessened. Organized crime still gets involved to the same extent, in some cases more so. It’s just harder to prosecute. Of course, it’s still illegal to have sex with an underage person, but the sentences are lighter since prostitution itself is not illegal. Women report that they are still denied jobs or housing or otherwise discriminated against if they honestly state that they are or were prostitutes, despite its being legal. That’s what I have read, anyway. I certainly don’t have an answer, and would not be adverse to legalizing it if I thought it would help. And what we are doing now is most definitely not working. I don’t know what would help the most, but I’ll read up on it again, as you made your point very convincingly.

      • KendraWM says:

Exactly and I have no doubt the first experience with Josh was different from the second. The first would have been grooming her, seeing where her boundaries were and how far he could push her without freaking her out. His sex ed was molesting his sisters, he knows how to groom women. The second would have been the more violent, especially if Josh had decided he would not see her again, he would have had nothing to lose in his mind. And factor in his upbringing that men are the masters, you have the perfect recipe for a disaster of a time.

Also I will not judge her, there is trauma of some kind in her past, you do not become a sex worker without a a sad, traumatic back story. Is 1500.00 enough of a gift for me to sleep with that pig, no. But to her that could have been a life line.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

I’m not suggesting that decriminalization (which is different from legalization) would make everything fine, but it would at least put an end to criminalizing and stigmatizing the women and make it easier for them to stand up for themselves and make changes in their lives if that is what they want. As long as prostitution is criminalized, sex workers will not feel safe asking for help.

In order to stand up for one’s rights, one has to have rights to begin with. I want to see real legal protections and legal rights for all women who are in this work. Among other things, we need to hear THEIR voices and give them a voice in how to go forward. Decriminalization could go hand in hand with unionization. It would provide for greater safety for those who choose to do this work, and greater options for those who want to leave. I think any solution has to start with giving the women themselves a real voice and real power. This isn’t going to happen if they are considered to be criminals.

      • Sixer says:

The sex workers should be decriminalised.

Not sure I agree with Amnesty about the johns and the pimps though – that might be ok in the high class escort world, but certainly isn’t in the world of the streetwalker.

      • littlestar says:

A couple of years ago here in Canada, they made being a prostitute legal, as a way of protecting sex workers (so they aren’t afraid of going to the police if someone harms them, etc). However, it is still illegal to pay for sex in Canada. I am not really sure if legalizing being a prostitute has actually made sex workers lives here safer – that is something I will have to look into.

      • supposedtobeworking says:

@littlestar, I think it has shifted the ability of police to protect prostitutes. I think a huge challenge is that many of the prostitutes who are at the highest risk are the Native American women, and there is such a poor system for their safety (from reporting it, to knowing where the women are living and working, and having a strong safety network). There are more johns being picked up and charged, but there there is also a lack of trust on the part of the prostitutes.
I watched a documentary about it a little while ago. I think its a good start, and the RCMP are aware of the challenges., and trying to find a way to bridge services, but its challenging for sure.

        @GoodNamesAllTaken
“I see no reason to believe she wouldn’t do anything, including making this up, for money. Since we already know she would do anything, including repeat an experience she claimed was terrifying and traumatic, for money”
This statement was pretty gross. I think you should educate yourself about cycles of abuse, particularly the link between childhood sexual abuse, trauma and prostitution.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

        @AJ
I can understand why you would think it was gross, because you think I’m judging her and belittling her. I’m actually on her side, and I am very well educated on the subject. I believe she is being victimized, and has probably been a victim of one kind or another all of her life. But I also think if you are desperate enough to repeat a sexual experience that you find terrifying and traumatic for money, you wouldn’t hesitate to lie for money. That’s just common sense to me. I’m not saying that you can’t have standards or character and be in a horrible situation. But desperate people do desperate things.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Regarding decrimilization – very excellent food for thought to everyone who spoke up. I knew you weren’t saying that it was an easy or complete solution, Miss Jupitero, and certainly I agree with many things that you said. I don’t know how decrimilization would help someone who is held against their will and forced into this life, but maybe it would help someone in less dire circumstances if they felt they could get help without getting punished. I just want the adults responsible for the coercing and the people paying for the services of the coerced to be punished and for the women to get help.

      • AJ says:

        @GoodNames
Let’s be honest here, you were most definitely judging and belittling her.
“Actually, I don’t believe her. She said it was traumatic and terrifying. But she did it on two separate occasions? Because it was so terrible? In Touch probably paid her. Sorry, “gifted” her money.”
Can you imagine this young woman reading this statement after sharing her story? How would you feel in her position?
People from all walks of life lie for an infinite number of reasons. Rich, poor, abused, privileged. Using a person’s life situation to determine whether or not they are being truthful isn’t terribly useful, nor is it common sense, in my opinion. What do you have to lose by believing this woman’s story? Maybe you mistakenly believe a liar who makes up stories for money. If you don’t believe her, you believe Josh Duggar? Then you believe a liar with a history of abusing multiple victims, who paid a woman to allow him to sexually abuse her.
Trauma victims don’t always behave the way that we want them to. They do things that don’t make sense BECAUSE OF THE TRAUMA. I know you know this if you are very well educated on the subject. That education is important, but having true empathy and compassion are important as well.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

        @AJ
You can believe whatever you want to about my intentions. I did not express myself well, but I have been honest in trying to explain my meaning. Whether or not you choose to believe it, or choose to continue to lecture me about things I already know is up to you. I understand that you don’t know me, so you can only go by what I have written.

I wouldn’t believe a word Josh Duggar said. I wouldn’t believe anything this woman said under these circumstances, either. This is a golden opportunity for someone to make money, and we don’t know anything about her except that she is desperate enough for money to spend her life as a porn star and a prostitute. It does not make sense to me that she would repeat an event that she found traumatizing and terrifying.

I put quotes around “gifted” because to me, that is a dishonest way of saying she was paid for sex. Those weren’t her words, I assume, but the writer of the article. It’s an insult to the reader’s intelligence.

I seriously doubt this young woman would care what I said or thought about her. I doubt she has much access to her feelings. They would have to be buried pretty deep to allow her to exist the way she does and not go crazy. I have a great deal of compassion for her, and whatever horrors in her life have led her to her present situation. I truly hope she can find a better life for herself.

If you think you are helping her by believing the story and not questioning anything she says or does because she’s a victim, then believe her. I don’t have anything to lose or gain by believing either one of them and I don’t have to believe either one of them. I can just say I don’t know the answer or the truth of what happened. And neither do you.

      • AJ says:

        @GoodNames
        Wow. Just wow.

      • Sixer says:

GNAT – I think you might be thinking “lie” when what you are seeing is simply the terminology used by sex workers as a matter of course for legal reasons. Rough tricks are an everyday workplace hazard if you are a sex worker. Taking repeat business from a rough trick is commonplace – not an indication of dishonesty; it’s just a part of a sex worker’s life, which has dangers. They gave her a polygraph and, while these aren’t fully reliable, they’re a pretty good indicator. I see no reason to disbelieve her for all these reasons.

Personally, I have no objection to prostitution in *principle*. It’s up to a woman what she does with her own body. But I do have plenty of concerns about prostitution in *practice* since all too often, it’s more about a man selling a woman’s body to another man. There are no black and white distinctions. It’s all shades of grey.

And, while there are women with sad and desperate back stories in the sex trade, not all women in the sex trade have them. Again, it’s all shades of grey.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

@Sixer – Yes, I see what you mean. She can hardly state for the record that she is doing something illegal. I don’t even think if or why I believe her story is very important. We don’t know what happened and until more facts come out, we only have two conflicting stories. It just sort of struck me and I put that comment in at the last minute. Something about the story doesn’t seem true to me. If she was just an office worker, I doubt people would be up in arms about my saying I find the story hard to believe. But since she is a “victim” I’m a horrible person for finding her less than credible. I’m not buying into that.

What you said sounds good. And I know it’s the “party line” right now. We are supposed to believe that there are a few women who are prostitutes because of negative circumstances, but most of them just thought, hmm… College or prostitution? I think I’ll be a prostitute. And they are perfectly happy with their choice and living healthy, productive lives. Oh, they might get beat up every now and again, but that’s just part of their career choice. I’m not trying to be sarcastic, but I just don’t buy it. If it were true, I would have nothing against prostitution in theory, either. It’s your body, do with it as you please as long as you aren’t hurting anyone else. I just don’t believe it’s

I know you know how many women and children are trapped in this life against their will. Sex trafficking is the fastest growing criminal activity in the world. There are hundreds of surveys out there, and I don’t put that much stock in surveys, but most of them agree that most prostitutes would get out if they could, but they can’t because of their “employers” threats of violence against them, many are also addicts, almost all get beaten up and raped an average of 10 times a year on the job, they have no job skills. But it’s ok? It’s dangerous, degrading and often ends in death and over half over prostitutes in the U.S. Are CHILDREN. Having sex with 50 men a day. How is anything about this “industry” ok? Maybe I just can’t put my own feelings about how terrible it is aside enough, but I can’t believe anyone is happy doing this.

I don’t agree with AJ’s premise that they are all victims and should be treated like imbeciles with no free will of their own. Her pity for them isn’t helping them. I think the industry needs to be shut down. But it never will be, because most of the victims of it are women and children, and our society values nothing less than women and children.

So all I’m left with is just prosecuting the right people and trying to help the right people. And I support groups that try to stop sex trafficking. I don’t know what else to do at this point. I respect your opinion very much, but I disagree that there’s a healthy part of this industry. And now, I am going to bed. Thanks for listening.

      • Sixer says:

        Morning, GNAT!

The thing is, we are discussing the credibility of an individual. There are good reasons to see this individual as having credibility as I’ve already outlined: the accurate terminology she uses; the accurate description she gives of sex work; the fact that In Touch gave her a lie detector test, etc.

The only reason to doubt credibility seems to be an instinctive dislike and distrust of her profession. (And presumably, In Touch gave her the lie detector because they expected exactly this reaction). While I understand that instinctive dislike and distrust, I don’t think it’s a reasonable discrediting of the woman given all the factors above.

Re: “party line”. If by that, you mean that a few, mostly white and middle class, sex workers and/or mostly white and middle class commentators, should get to set the agenda for an entire industry because they’re white and middle class and haven’t experienced the vicious side of this industry, then I couldn’t agree more. Harm reduction and safeguarding of women should be our priority, so we have to concentrate on the areas where most harm is being done.

    • Realistically the money was hush money more than for services rendered. That’s how I’d see it and she might as well.

    • korra says:

I totally believe her. And I take no issue with her getting paid. I guess I really like Sweden’s outlook where they punish the consumer, not the provider. We should severely punish this consumer. He’s a member of a nonprofit right? That’s how he makes his money? Or he does some bizarre bs council? Whatever, either way this lazy schlub is paying for sex while espousing christian values. I can not believe he didn’t use protection. We ALL know he would force whoever he had sex with to get an abortion.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Yes, I think the consumer and the pimp provider should be punished, not the woman who is trapped in this life.

      • Liberty says:

        Agree with both your comments.

I cannot even imagine what the inside of Anna’s mind looks like right now, assuming the cult allowed her to read this information. I hope her brother drives to her house and talks to her, face to face. But the cult probably won’t allow it.

      • KendraWM says:

Liberty, I guarantee you she knows nothing. I already imagine how he is spinning being on Ashley Madison as research. To better understand the temptation that is out there, so he can provide better council and be fully informed for the sake of the foundation he worked at.

There is no way they are letter her know anything about this.

      • littlestar says:

“I guess I really like Sweden’s outlook where they punish the consumer, not the provider.” — That’s how it is in Canada too, and how it should be the world over.

      • Emily C. says:

The punishment of the consumer ends up being a roundabout way of punishing the provider. If you read up on it, you’ll find a ton of Swedish sex workers who are even more terrified now than they were when their job was directly illegal.

I see nothing wrong with consenting adults providing this service. At all. And the only way to even start to make it safer than it is now, and to put the power in the hands of the sex workers where it belongs, is to decriminalize it. Nothing will change overnight, but this is a necessary first step.

One day I hope we’ll have the same attitude toward sex work that Beta Colony in Lois McMaster Bujold’s books does.

  18. Ursaline (Ursula) says:

Ok, how completely SAD is it when Mr. Family Values/I’m Gonna Blast Gays for ‘Ruining Marriage’ is creeping out the p()rn stars? This just keeps getting worse and worse!

    • Liberty says:

      +1

This is like Karma is shooting out of a fire hose at this point.

      • Saywhatwhen says:

On days like this you just have to think God is answering back the weirdo zealots and telling them “Not in my name”.

    • Emily C. says:

Creeping on porn stars is worse than molesting little girls? Yeah, no, I don’t think so.

It already hit rock bottom. This is just, whatever. The only way I can imagine it getting “worse” is if it was found out that he killed someone.

  19. frisbee says:

It is completely believable because he’s got such a warped/unhealthy view of women and sexuality thanks to his version of ‘Christian’ teachings. Women are not people to men like this, they are one of two objects – a whore or a saint so ‘rough’/punishing sex is inevitable. He despises women yet desires them so punishes the woman for his desire. Given his record of perverted behavior I’m guessing it would only be a matter of time before that ‘rough sex’ turned into rape. I believe this repulsive nut-job is a danger to women. and always has been.

    • belle de jour says:

Fun fact: this most definitely applies to some Hassidic/Orthodox Jews as well. One of the creepiest things I’ve ever seen in New York are the vans full of Hassid men who leave from Brooklyn to cruise Northern Boulevard in Queens, searching for women of color/on the street because they are ‘less than’ and no more important than ‘animals.’

The Madonna/Whore syndrome of sickness crosses a lot of streets in a lot of neighborhoods.

  20. tifzlan says:

More, more, more. I want the Duggars to be dead and gone for good.

Also, ten bucks say the Duggar clan will come out with a statement tomorrow or something talking about opportunistic sinners and vaguely slut shaming this woman for her career choices, etc.

    • korra says:

Lol they’re gonna come out with a statement today. Opportunistic sinners, lmao. What was Josh dear Duggar klan? What was Josh?

  21. JudyK says:

Looking at him, I can see why he has to pay for sex.

Really mean, don’t care–he turns my stomach and makes my skin crawl.

RUN Anna RUN, and for Pete’s Sake, start using birth control.

  22. serena says:

And I totally agree with her, I hope Anna will get wise and leave him alone and bitter.

  23. waitwhat says:

That porn star looks all of 13 years old. Yuck.

  24. NewWester says:

Not surprised that a woman came forward. But I doubt it was only this one woman. There will be others. What is really scary is a) How violent the encounter was b) That he did not use protection.

    • K says:

My issue is why didn’t she demand he use protection? She was there she can set standards in the encounter. In what world does a woman think she can’t ask a man to wear a condom?

      • BearcatLawyer says:

In her world women are sexbots, not humans with thoughts and feelings, and sex is just another commodity. Making demands is just not really an option. Plus, if he physically dominated/attacked her from the minute she walked in the room, I imagine her thought process was to just let him do what he wanted and have it end as quickly as possible. She may have genuinely felt the path of least resistance was the best way to stay alive.

      • Jag says:

Men pay more to not use condoms.

    • Crocuta says:

I am afraid of the possibility that he’s not very gentle to Anna either.

  25. Samtha says:

Dear Anna: who knows how many women this “man” slept with. Please get yourself and your new baby tested for STDs.

    • Mia4S says:

Does she even know what an STD is? I imagine at most she’s been taught that they are something the ‘evil gay people’ have and spread. Ugh, I feel sick.

    • Shitler says:

Assuming she even knows what STDs are..

    • TripleThreat says:

You’ve got it right. CPS can now pull those kids and have them tested. Herpes can lead to encephalitis and HPV, cancer. Josh is basically committing potential manslaughter. CPS better get on this now while Josh is in rehab. Also Anna needs to petition an order of protection from ALL Duggars. Anna is an accomplice for endangering her children. She could face charges as well as soon as she exits her long overdue psychiatric hospital stay.

  26. IfUSaySo says:

EW! Barf!! Not surprised about the hookup, a little concerned about the roughness AND sadly that’s not surprising after reading about what he did to his sisters. I am angry and sad about his wife. Failed by her parents, failed by her husband. Seemingly lacking the self worth to leave and start a new life. She’s only 27. She has kids, but being married to nasty child molesting, cheating, rough sex loving, porn addicted Josh Duggar ISNT something she has to deal with for 50 more years!!! #freeanna

  27. Ann Carter says:

This guy would be no more than a local scandal/punchline in some Arkansas town.
Now, once again, magazine covers and blazing headlines.
Reality TV: how low can you go, America??

    • Katy says:

Why do you say “How low can you go, America”? It’s not America that has gone so low!!! It ‘s this family. They LOVED the magazine covers and blazing headlines when it was in their favor. They are the ones that put themselves in the public spotlight by having their lives documented on reality TV, so now it’s America that has gone so low by paying attention this mess….that they caused for themselves? I think not….

      • Tifygodess24 says:

Well it could be argued that it’s our society that allowed a family like this to flourish. We really have lost our way in this country whether we want to admit it or not.

      • Emily C. says:

Our society allowed this cult to flourish in the name of “freedom of religion.” That “freedom” was used to oppress, brainwash, and abuse all the many victims of this cult and those like it.

  28. This creep was raised in a house where women are completely subservient, where girls are taught that they exist only to make children, and that women aren’t allowed to be angry because it’s “ungodly”. Considering all that, it would be a miracle if he were the only Duggar busted with his pants down.
I really hope she comes to her senses and gets out.

  29. grabbyhands says:

    Not shocked.

    The forthcoming Duggar response:

    1. Lies
    2. Okay, not lies. But you know, Satan.
    3. It was her fault-she used her harlot-y wiles and he was helpless against it.
    4. It is totally fine, though. he said “Oops, I did it again!” and is totes sorry, so Jeebus forgives him.

  30. MinnFinn says:

What a weasel. Sounds like there is much more that will come out. I’m surprised his cheating stayed hidden so long.

  31. Lilacflowers says:

Squirrel and GopherBJ must be so very proud.

BTW, she looks like one of his sisters.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

Once you see him as a gopher, it cannot be unseen, can it?!

      • Lilacflowers says:

An image that cannot be erased but I’ve embellished it. He’s not just a gopher, he is a gopher engaged in a sexual act

      • Betti says:

@lilacflowers: A gopher with puffed out cheeks 😉

Thou as my mother used to say – you shouldn’t talk with your mouth full.

  32. Triple Cardinal says:

This woman isn’t into prostitution and porn because she loves meeting people. She’s in it for the money.

Why rough sex a second time around?
She needs the money. Rough johns are a fact of life in her world.

  33. Vampi says:

Ahhhh! Haha! I knew it! This little slimer is hiding even more I’d bet.
Moose and Squirrel must be shitting bricks right about now.
Duggars… Listen to God for real, for once. I think he’s trying to tell you stop the madness of this cult.

    • BearcatLawyer says:

The editor in chief of ITW said weeks ago there was more to come. Clearly they were getting their ducks in a row and waiting for the right time to let this out. Coming on the heels of People’s cover story last week, this is ITW’s shot across the bow in the tabloid wars. But good on them for doing sound investigative journalism.

      • korra says:

So even more is gonna come out?

      • Vampi says:

Agreed BearCatLawyer. I also wonder, if you know… Is any of this enough for CPS to start a case on them on their own? They literally publish how to “train” kids and it’s obvious from their teachings that women and children are abused. Or does the whole “church and freedom of religion” cover their butts? If it does, it shouldn’t. *sigh*

      • LAK says:

It’s no wonder Josh volunteered his ‘p0rn addiction’ in his overall apology when no one had asked.

We were all reeling from his membership of AM.

His apology, knowing what else he had been doing that might be brought into the light, was a PR apology.

Since he has already apologised for a p0rn addiction, the details of which were assumed to be just online activity, he probably doesn’t feel the need or want to apologise a 3rd time.

      • Liberty says:

I feel like this vile little twisted twerp and his cult family rushed to admit some things, in hope of building an instant wall of sandbags to prevent the rest from leaking out. It’s not working.

If CPS doesn’t investigate his home at this point, there is a cash-paid cover-up.

      • Christin says:

I thought it was odd how he came out with such a quick statement after AM. And, as LAK points out, it was mostly about his supposed ‘p’ addiction. Now it makes sense — he was preparing for the next shoe to drop.

As for how the parents are holding up, I would like to imagine JB has hair that looks like disheveled Barney Fife’s. And M is actually yelling instead of acting like a baby talking ‘not removed from reality.

  34. Ronda says:

i totally believe it and feel gross but polygraph tests still are not reliable. its also silly to mention them without actually providing evidence.

    • jwoolman says:

That’s true, lots of false positives and false negatives. But if she did pass the tests, that’s an indication in the direction of truth (unless she’s someone able to fool the machine) but not a solid case. More is needed to corroborate the story, but I’m afraid she is indeed telling the truth from the way she talks. Time will tell.

  35. Isa says:

I can’t help but think of all the potiential STDs that he brought home to his wife and unborn child. Some can have very serious consequences for both her and the baby.
And you know she’s hasn’t been getting checked.

    • korra says:

More than that, Anna has probably had horrible rough sex just like this. This poor woman. You go from knowing NOTHING about sex to having it rough like that with your husband who obviously wants it that way, no boundaries, no talk, nothing. Good lord. That house is frightening. Duggar is a sick and twisted man. He needs to rot in jail.

    • K 2 says:

Anna would think that was normal, and everyone did it that way. What point of comparison does she have?

    • Pinetree13 says:

Sadly at hospitals mother and baby are automatically checked for STDs and given eye drops to prevent eye damage to the baby if there is an std present…but their family home births wouldn’t have any of these checks. Plus she only learned of sex right before the wedding and so would have no idea about stds

      • Isa says:

Yes women are typically checked in the first and last trimester and the eye drop are given at birth. Since she had a home birth and thought that they had only been with each other I bet she opted out.

  36. Betti says:

Not surprised about this and she’s def his type – she has a look of his sisters about her.

So he’s a peado, adulterous and violent sex addict – run Anna and the kids, run. He will turn his sexual attentions on them – he has no other outlet now and he sure as hell isn’t going to be allowed to get proper, professional treatment. CPS needs to step in and remove those kids from their parents STAT – Anna is not going to willingly leave him or protect those kids.

Am just waiting on the dirt on Jim Bob to start dropping – Josh is not the only deviant in that family.

    • korra says:

“Am just waiting on the dirt on Jim Bob to start dropping – Josh is not the only deviant in that family.”

This. Jim Bob is a lunatic.

    • Lesley says:

As a parent that is my first thought also. Those kids have absolutely no protection from this man. He is a proven child molester which is more than enough information to have the kids removed but now he is a shamed, outed, violent man which makes him even more dangerous. Those precious kids are in serious danger. It makes me ill that they are sitting ducks- it breaks my heart and is making me so sick for them

    • BlueNailsBetty says:

When Josh IMMEDIATELY admitted to the Ashley Madison mess I wondered what he was trying to hide. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out Josh was thrown to the wolves to keep them from sniffing around Jim Blob. JB just screams narcissistic deviant and I have no doubt something will break on him before the end of the year.

  37. J says:

This is not something I want to think about but now I wonder how Josh treats Anna when they have sex. I doubt there was a lot of sex education and what she was taught probably consisted of being submissive to her husband, not respecting her own needs/wants. I just find her whole situation so sad and awful.

    • Louisa says:

I’m sure it’s very vanilla missionary all the time with his wife. These men only see women as either saints (their wives / mothers / daughters ) or whores who they feel are nothing more than objects they can do whatever they want with.

    • FingerBinger says:

I doubt Josh is having rough sex with Anna. My feeling is that they have sex only for reproduction. He goes to other women for the kind of sex he wants to have.

      • jwoolman says:

Possibly in the past, but who knows what he’ll do as he feels increasingly cornered. If he can do that to one woman, he can do it to another and to children. The story reveals his capabilities. This goes far beyond the rest of what we know.

      • Betti says:

I disagree – i think he is as Anna is his property now and he can do what he wants, if he wants to have it rough with her she has no option but to just take it, particularly given how uneducated about sex she is, she’ll have been told just to lie back and pray for babies. Hence why he went for a porn star – she can at least act like she is ‘enjoying’ it.

    • K 2 says:

I hope you’re both right, but unfortunately abusive men tend to be abusive sexually, too. It’s a way to exert power.

  38. Christin says:

Well, I had a gut feeling we were just seeing the tip of the iceberg with him.

I still think there is more to come, and am waiting for it to be about the parents. I have a feeling one or both of them have some big secrets hiding under all that hairspray.

  39. AntiSocialButterfly says:

I wonder if this will be the straw that broke the camel’s (Anna’s brother’s) back?

    • jwoolman says:

I suspect her brother will seriously step up his efforts to get her and the children away from the Duggars. She may be in physical danger as well as under emotional distress, and she certainly needs to be tested for STDs. Maybe her parents will come around if they believe this story and the other stories likely to come.

      • AntiSocialButterfly says:

He had some rather sharp words; I was wondering if he’d take it to the extreme in any way ( not that I would *want* that to happen… /s…).

  40. Jayna says:

I totally believe it. It was a whoa moment when first reading it, though.

    Run, Anna, run. #FreeAnna

  41. Juluho says:

    HIS EYES ARE SO CREEPY!

  42. Lucy says:

    I believe her.

  43. Scarlet Vixen says:

I know I’m behind the times, but I’ve finally gotten around to binge watching Game of Thrones (I’m almost done with season 3). And whenever I see Joffrey I think of Josh Duggar. When Joffrey (Spoiler Alert?) shot up a prostitute with arrows just for fun I immediately thought of Josh & what his natural bedroom proclivities are (I needed some serious brain bleach after that). It’s frightening to think of what a real person who has been taught that women are there to be subservient is really capable of…

  44. RuddyZooKeeper says:

So the women of this cult are brainwashed victims, but the men of this cult are disgusting misogynist deviants? That’s just too easy. What this “man” has done to women is horrifying & in some cases criminal, but he was also a boy child involuntarily raised up in this cult. Indoctrinated with the same garbage as the girls. Brainwashing isn’t a term we should reserve only for those considered the oppressed. In this case, distasteful as it is to admit, the oppressor took his share of brainwashing as well. Let the consequences rain down on him, but don’t for a second believe he wasn’t brought up to behave this way. It was inevitable. Save some pity for the little boy whose future was determined the second he was born into that cult.

    • Wonderbunny says:

      I agree with you.

    • LAK says:

Absolutely. Usually it’s not kosher to blame parents for their children and vice versa, but in this case, Jim Bob and Michelle are culpable in fostering the sort of environment AND teachings that led to this.

And it’s actually unfair for the children since they don’t have choice or knowledge such that when they go into the world as adults they can make responsible choices. The parents chose this. They came into the cult having already experienced the world. Everyday they make a choice. The kids, even as adults, don’t have the tools since they were sheltered. It takes strength of character to break away from that indoctrination.

    • Emily C. says:

Yes. He has to take responsibility for his actions as an adult, and of course I don’t feel as much sympathy for someone who was taught he could do no wrong as I do for someone who was taught she was a thing. But the men are victims of the cult too. Not as much as the women, but you’re a victim of assault whether someone just gives you a black eye or puts you in a full body-cast.

And the men are victims who are taught to be victimizers, to keep the entire sick system going. I am so impressed with anyone who breaks away from this.

  45. Bethie says:

    This whole story is revolting.

  46. Vampi says:

Anna will never even hear about this latest Danica Dillon stuff because The Duggars have her sequestered.
Someone call Seal Team 6. We have an urgent rescue needed. So sad…..
And also, yes….where *IS* CPS in all of this??
All of this should be enough to open an investigation into the safety and well being of the minor children. Heck, just their “rules” alone about how they blame a child for “tempting” a male should have been a HUGE flag that CPS should have realized and opened a case on their own. Shameful.
We all know the kids are being emotionally and mentally abused and the authorities do nothing to protect those kids!

    • SillySimone says:

What we need is for someone, like Danica, to file charges if there was indeed sexual assault. Sex workers can be abused and raped. Anyone who has any experience with this man needs to come forward now. They will have abundant support and by him being behind bars, Anna will be freed. That is the only way Anna will leave him – if he is removed from her.

  47. It'sJustBlanche says:

I completely believe her. The bad thing is, men like that think girls like her deserve to be treated that way. He wouldn’t have the balls to treat his own wife that way. I hope she is OK and I hope they paid her well for the story.

  48. Jas says:

I believe her and I find her story extremely disturbing. This man is dangerous. His parents created the monster with their social isolation, refusal to parent with attention, misogynistic brainwashing and repression but now he is what he is. This is the fully formed adult in all his ugliness. He is a sociopath.

Now he’s reached a level it’s just a matter of continued escalation. It’s only a matter of time before he attacks an unwilling participant. I see that she agreed to ‘rough’ sex and never had a problem with it before but with him it was different – his viciousness terrified her. That is not kink, that’s only a matter of time before he severely rapes or kills a woman.

  49. MSat says:

Just came here to say that I predicted this would happen back when the Ashley Madison accounts were revealed! This is just the tip of the iceberg and there will be more.

This guy is such a phony!

Leave him, Anna. And GET TESTED.

    • Crumpet says:

She is never going to hear of this, because they are controlling all her access to information.

      • Saywhatwhen says:

@Crumpet, yes!! I said that the other day that she is in seclusion. No internet, TV or phone access. And she has no idea what is coming out. She has no clue about this latest.

      • Jayna says:

OMG, I didn’t even think of that. She has no clue. How sad for her, holed up with Jim Bob and Michelle counseling her on how to be a good wife like Michelle.

  50. SillySimone says:

I have so many issues with this, I don’t even know where to begin.

    Sex Workers:

*She is indeed a prostitute, but she cannot say so for fear of prosecution. That is why the term “gift” is used.

*She likely did not use protection with him because she knows who he is and assumes he is clean. That said, WTF is she thinking? If he is with her, he has likely been with others!!!

*Sex workers can suffer trauma and are at greater risk for violent crimes because the industry is a black market. So she could have very well suffered trauma. That said, I don’t understand when the trauma occurred, on the first or second encounter?

    Josh:

*My problem with him is his molestation of his sisters. Cheating and visiting prostitutes who are age appropriate does not make me uncomfortable because I am not his wife. It is his private business. That is between him and his family to work out. Judging him for age appropriate (all be it douche) activities is the same as his family judging others. I am not his wife, so I don’t care.

*Even rough sex, if it is agreed upon by both parties is not something that bothers me. It is unclear from this article if she actually agreed to the rough sex or not. If she did not agree to it and he abused her, then it is NOT rough sex. It is a violent crime. She needs to be clear, very very clear. If he abused, assaulted or raped her, then he needs to be prosecuted ASAP! If he simply has a fetish for rough sex and she agreed to it, then again, she offered a service and he paid for it – twice.

*He clearly has a serious sex problem. If he is indeed interested in rough sex, I am concerned that he may be subjecting Anna to it without her consent.

    Anna:

*I am not his wife, but if I were his wife, I would leave. I understand that this poor woman has no resources, no support system, no education, no money and four kids. Her best and only escape at this point is if someone comes forward relating to any possible sex crime like rape. If the porn star was raped, then she should file a police report. Getting this ass behind bars is the best way to free Anna.

*Which brings me to my final point. I don’t know if this woman is telling the truth. There is not yet enough proof for me. But assuming she is, the question is why? If it is to help Anna, simply admitting to having sex with her husband will not help her, but only hurt her more. Anna will not leave because he went with a prostitute/stripper/porn star as he already admitted to having cheated on his wife (he did not say with whom). So what is the purpose of coming forward?

Again, I repeat (and I hope she reads this site) if this women is saying that he actually assaulted or abused her, then I beg her to file charges. Then Anna has a chance at freedom. I think Anna’s only hope is if he is behind bars.

    • Betti says:

“*He clearly has a serious sex problem. If he is indeed interested in rough sex, I am concerned that he may be subjecting Anna to it without her consent.”

Anna doesn’t know or understand that she CAN refuse her husband sex and he still needs her consent. She didn’t know what sex was until 2 weeks before her marriage and even then i imagine it was the bare minimum. As far as she has been taught – he’s her husband and her body is his property – and yes he will be subjecting her to his ‘rough’ proclivities because he thinks he owns her. With the porn star he’s fulfilling his fantasies and because if he pays her enough she will at least pretend to enjoy it.

      • SillySimone says:

I see one of two possibilities here. Either Anna is being abused sexually and does not know it is abuse because she has no context OR Josh reserves his violence for the tricks he picks up. In this entire scenario, someone, a woman (his wife or someone else) is getting hurt. That is obvious.

    • Saywhatwhen says:

What is her purpose for coming forward. Money. The women has unprotected rough sex in exchange for gifts. In Touch is paying her for this story and maybe other media outlets will pay her for more details/TV appearance.

  51. Saywhatwhen says:

Oi! I say, this is the reason why he confessed to the porn addiction in his online statement. Duggar-boy you nasty! You nasty very bad!!! You slither-belly adulterous dough boy. Just nasty! Poor Anna.

    • Brittney B. says:

Yes, and he thought his statement would cover this one too…? Most men who watch porn don’t turn into violent stalkers who track down the actresses and have their way with them. It sounds like he tried to draw a line from hiding a porn habit to cheating with a porn star, when in reality he developed obsessive fixations and continued to leverage his privilege (power/money/gender/whatever) to act out his own self-serving fantasies… just as he did as a teenager.

He needs to be locked up.

  52. jwoolman says:

I hope there will be ways to back up her testimony, which does have the ring of truth. Her statement about his wife and children sounds as though he hurt and scared her pretty badly, even though he paid well. She might not have known anything about him until the hacking story hit.

    • SillySimone says:

She says it was during the last 12 months or so, so she had to have known who he is. Just walking into a grocery store, the Duggars are everywhere. Sadly, if she is telling the truth, given her line of work, she can easily be discredited. Unless she took photos or he used a credit card, then I find her story difficult to prove. Can anyone track the alleged dates to locations he was at? Was he in the said cities on said date? Did he stay at said hotel on said date? Those kinds of things will give her story a lot more support. But right now it is just her saying so, which to me, is simply not enough. While I do believe her in my heart, my brain still requires more evidence.

      • Betti says:

ITW would have done their due diligence and she would have had to provide proof before they would have entertained her so there is more to this than is being reported – more facts will come out with followup stories/reporting. She would also have had to sign as affidavit saying that she is telling the truth – i know thats how the UK tabs work with stories like this. Plus she did a lie detector test and passed.

      • lisa says:

i couldnt have picked josh out of a lineup before it became public he molested his sisters

      • Emily C. says:

I still couldn’t pick this guy out of a lineup. I avoid looking at pictures of his disgusting face.

  53. Mixtape says:

Wow. The thing I find most surprising about this whole ongoing saga is that someone at In Touch–yes, the gossip rag you buy in desperation at the airport only if you have already read all the others–is seriously gunning for a Pulitzer with all this Duggar expose. I mean, they gave her a polygraph!

  54. Tilly says:

In all my years on this planet (there have been many), I’ve lost count of how many as-it-turned-out untrustworthy, lying, violent, “religious” people I’ve come across. They say and project one thing, but behind closed doors it’s a whole different matter. Nothing surprises me anymore.

  55. Lara Morgana says:

And the hits just keep on coming.

  56. TOPgirl says:

I completely believe her story. This guy is a disgusting human being, sexual predator, and has so many mental issues on so many levels. He should be in jail by now but for some reason, he has managed to avoid paying for his crimes.

  57. Jayna says:

I’m predicting Josh sells his story for huge dollars. It’s out there right now. He can’t pretend it’s not. He has admitted to it. He has no income. If they shop this to the highest bidder, Josh would get a hefty paycheck, really hefty. He will come clean but blame it all on pornography and his dissent into the abyss but is coming back to Jesus,, blah, blah. He will wait for it to all shake out to see what is coming out of the woodwork, but then I predict Jim Bob orchestrates a big interview deal for him and probably Anna, both in one interview. Papa Duggar will take his percentage, of course, like the pimp he is.

    • Jag says:

You’re spot on! I give it 3 months maximum from when he gets out of rehab for him to be going for a Barbara Walters’ type of interview to tell the masses how much he’s changed and that Jesus has forgiven him yet again.

  58. Nibbi says:

this story just keeps on giving

i dislike the continued “rehab for sex addiction” thing, tho. sex addiction is perhaps a real thing, but i feel like it is sort of being used to excuse his behavior or make him appear as some hapless victim. if he had this “disease” or “demons” or whatever, why wasn’t he working with someone from his church or something in accordance with his beliefs to deal with it? …

    • chaine says:

Setting aside my personal belief that there is not really such a thing as “sex addiction,” this rehab is described in the linked article as “faith-based.” So, basically, if we accept that he has a “sex addiction,” the rehab is going to be him going to somewhere that is exactly like the family environment he came from where he will be told “The Sex is bad. Don’t Do The Sex.” How is that supposed to help? If anything, it will probably just reinforce that he must keep his true wants and needs secret from his wife and find an outlet for them elsewhere, and increase his shame when he gives in and does that.

      • Saywhatwhen says:

        Yes it will be:

Non-missionary Sex will make you blind
        Only husbands on top
        Under the covers
Kisses on the cheek so as not offend the wife
        Hurry up and be considerate
        Lights off is very polite

      • SillySimone says:

Actually not true. An addictive personality can be addicted to anything. Drugs, shopping, porn, etc. Porn addiction, like all addictions, is real. I am not saying that Josh has a porn addiction as I don’t know. But if he did, it would indeed be a real thing.

    • WinnieCoopersMom says:

Maybe Jim Bob should go too. He, very obviously, could not keep off of his wife. Even if JB didn’t have any action on the side, he could have been “sex addicted” too, right? Do you have to be doing it with several people for it to be considered an addiction?

  59. HK9 says:

I thought he’d hit rock bottom but nooooooooooooooooo, we’ve just hit the trap door to all the other crap he does in his spare time. Wow, just…wow.

  60. TripleThreat says:

NOW CPS can step in! The unprotected sex angle. People forget that you can still contract the herp and HPV while using protection. Both are permanent STDs. So it’s likely Anna and her babies have been exposed. As we all know HPV (Michael Douglas) turned into throat cancer. Causes cervical cancer as well. So if Anna tests positive, those kids are getting pulled and Josh is heading straight to prison .

    • Tifygodess24 says:

While I agree those kids need out of there – I’m not sure where you are getting this from because CPS doesn’t step in because a parent cheated and had unprotected sex and could have potentially gave STDS to the mother and child. While that situation is extremely messed up its not criminal unless he knew he had AIDs , herpes etc and purposely gave it to her. Malicious intent. Even then it’s still hard to prosecute, so CPS is not stepping in. They didn’t even step in when it came out he molested his sisters. Unless there is active abuse going on and someone reports it , CPS is useless – hell many times they are useless even when there is active abuse.

  61. Jayna says:

Now, what kind of long-term rehab would his family approve of? I want the name of the so-called rehab place they are sending him to. I wonder if it’s really legit.

  62. PixieWitch says:

poor jesus, he must be the most upset about this.

  63. anne_000 says:

    Let’s see…

Considering that the Quiverfull version of pedophilia therapy is:
    1) Get a child porn-loving cop to pat you on the head and make sure you’re not charged
    2) Go to a camp where the director is (allegedly) sexually harassing the women there

What would a Quiverfull sex rehab consist of?

Getting serial rapists to cheer for you? Have misogynist speakers teach you on how to get the most submission from your womenfolk?

  64. Betti says:

Now that he’s gone into ‘rehab’ (so says TMZ) its time the CPS rescued Anna and the children from the 2 evil monsters who effed up his (and their) life. They need to be protected from the whole family otherwise the cycle of abuse will continue.

I’m convinced there is more to come and this time it’s Squirrel and Gopher who is brought down.

The skeletons haven’t finished flinging themselves outta the Duggar closet.

  65. TripleThreat says:

My comment didn’t go through but CPS can pull the kids and test them. Anna is an accomplice to her children’s safety. She should lose those kids and get a hospital stay. Where the hell is her maternal instinct? You know, you can sue your bf or husband if he gave you herpes or hpv in the USA.
She also needs to petition the family court for an order of protection from all Duggars or she’s gonna lose those kids. While Josh is in rehab is the time to take action.

  66. LAK says:

Just read various tales of Jim Bob on Gawker…..it’s actually made me feel sorry for Josh.

He has been repeatedly punished for sexual curiosity without any equivalent discussion or fostering of a healthy outlook on sex.

And now he has been sent to a faith based rehab centre…..

As if that worked the last time!!

  67. bored_01 says:

She sort of reminds me of a Duggar sister i looks :/

  68. KendraWM says:

And true to PR form, CNN reporting he has checked himself into rehab

  69. Vampi says:

JIM BOB is one that needs help TOO! Not “just” Josh!
Jim Bob…YOU raised him! YOU need to get help too! Your whole family does!
Don’t you DARE, JimBob, try to blame this on a “bad seed”. YOU are the tree that produced that seed you scumbag. You are to blame for All of this! You AND Squirrel and your backwards ways of treating women! This is what your cult promotes and produces. CPA needs called. Now.

  70. Thanks for the German lessons–now look at the body language–Jerk Josh is in the FRONT seat of the clown car. They made the girls put a blanket over their legs instead of putting a blindfold over the maggot jerks eyes! Mark my words: rehab is NOT going to help him–its too late!

  71. Jayna says:

So what is this place? Has anyone ever hear of it? Jim Bob loves it. So it’s probably suspect.

“While the Duggars have not identified the rehab center there is speculation it may be the Christian-based Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois.
An investigation by Gawker found that a plane belonging to Duggar’s younger sibling, licensed pilot John David Duggar, flew to Rockford late last night where it stayed to just ten minutes before returning to Arkansas, where the Duggars live.
Jim Bob and Michelle have previously visited the center which they praised for being ‘incredible’

  72. My Two Cents says:

I think he probably told his Dad and his wife everything up front because he knew it was all going to come out. They think the devil has got hold of him and will spend all their time in prayer for him to be cleansed. I do not believe his wife will leave him even now. They believe that once married you do not separate period. I think this guy has totally been living a lie, as have his parents, since puberty.

  73. Vampi says:

Well then……if the Duggars praise it, it’s just another CULT re-programming center!!!!!. This is very scary folks….where is CPS??? Why does no govern ent care? Their abuse is right in their training manual frecrissakesfercryinoutloud!!!!!!
Lord, help me because I’m about to lose it. This is sheer insanity. I’m beyond disgusted. I’m ashamed! Ashamed at how TLC promoted them, how America praised them……
While those kids suffered, weren’t allowed yo be kids and express themselves, and dance…and the whole “Nike” thing…just…just…ALL of it.
I’m done for today. Can’t type anymore through rage tears.

    • Emily C. says:

They did it all in the name of “religion.” That’s why they were able to keep doing it, that’s why they got the praise, and that’s why nothing will happen in the long-term.

  74. Elisha says:

What is that Gwen story where she’s holding a pink blanket?

  75. Maria says:

John Bradshaw said it best-That religious addiction was the hardest addiction to break because people feel righteous in their belief that they are doing things for God/Jesus. He was ahead of his time and one of the best counselors on addictions whether it is sex, religion, work, alcohol, drugs, etc. So I do not see his family changing or Anna leaving because this stuff goes deep.

  76. Marianne says:

I honestly feel so bad for Anna. Really any woman in that cult. They have been brainwashed into thinking that their only role in life is to serve the man of the house and spit out babies. I’m sure Jim-Bob and Michelle are also telling her its her fault this happened.

Even if she did realize he was full of crap and toxic to her, she would probably not even know how to get out. How many people does she know/can trust that are not in that cult? What money does she have? Etc. Plus, Im sure the divorce would end up in a nasty custody battle.

    • Jag says:

Her brother has offered to pay for her and her children to move to where he lives.

She does have an option, if she has heard what her brother has offered, and if she chooses to take it.

  77. Danskins says:

The hypocrisy of this trainwreck of the husband that is Josh is just amazing. If this doesn’t convince Anna to finally leave, what else will?

I also wonder if TLC knew beforehand or had some inkling about what was to come of Josh’s endless scandals and decided to cancel the show before all of this came out. It just seems their timing was perfect on this.

    • Jag says:

It makes me wonder how much the other sister, who fled the country, knew about what was to come.

  78. SillySimone says:

Looks like the family has shipped him off to rehab: http://gawker.com/is-this-where-josh-duggar-is-in-sex-rehab-1726687142

At this point, I am going to go ahead and just say that both Josh and Anna appear to be hostages. I doubt he needs rehab for wanting to have a normal sex life. Since he has no basis for “normal,” all of what he knows about sex comes from porn. I think if anyone is interested in actually helping either/or Josh and Anna, they need to suggest that the two separate and get a divorce. Josh needs to come to terms that the lifestyle his parents are forcing on him is not something he can handle/wants. Anna needs to be deprogrammed before she even starts to figure out what she wants.

    • Neah23 says:

Josh Is not a hostages, but a child malester and sexy predator. Don’t believe for a minute that he going to ant type of “rehab” he’s just going underground to make it look like he getting “help” to fix his/their public image.

Just like John Stamos who was arrested for a DUI and the first thing he did was say he going to “rehab” and was only there for less then a week before he came out saying he’s better to fix his image. Many celebrities do that as a get out of jail free card, and as a PR strategy.

      • SillySimone says:

No, he is not a “hostages.” A hostage in his own version of it this cult, yes. No, he is not a child “malester.” But he did molest his siblings close to his age and one very young (5 year old) sibling. He is most certainly NOT a “sexy predator.” He may or may not be a predator. So far, having affairs with hookers does not make him predatory and all of his partners appear to have been age appropriate. He may be a predator, I simply don’t know yet as we have nothing from the last 12 years to indicate that.

Yes, many celebs do indeed abuse the whole rehab thing as a PR stunt. How many adults, however, don’t have a say in their own adult sexuality?

I am not defending Josh the teen who molested his sisters. I am not defending Josh the adult who had affairs. But I am defending Josh the kid who grew up in an oppressed environment where the devil was his own body. He does not need rehab. He needs to learn about normal sexual behavior and get out of this cult. Then he might actually find a partner he wants and respects and can be faithful to.

  79. jwoolman says:

Whisking Josh off to long-term rehab might be confirmation of Danica’s story and more. He wasn’t just looking at pictures, he was (gasp!) having sex with strippers and porn stars…. Actually, none of this is seriously illegal except for those pesky laws about prostitution (hence gifts rather than payment for services). He’s scummy but not at risk of facing a judge. Did Duggar Central really say rehab is for sex addiction? Or was it still for porn addiction? Or what?

They obviously need to get Josh far, far away for a long time if they want to angle for more shows. At least it keeps him away from his wife and kids for a while. I would like to know more about this Duggar-approved rehab, though. Good grief, what if they’re pushing for a Josh in Rehab show?!?

    • SillySimone says:

More shows? LMAO!!!!! There is no more future here. Their only appeal was that they were the perfect family. Maybe he can do celebrity rehab?

  80. Miss Melissa says:

They are truly disgusting… the lot of them.

I’m delighted the BS of this crazy cult of suppression and abuse (in ALL forms, including physical and emotional) is finally seeing the light of day.

    Doing God’s work my a$$.

  81. Maria A. says:

I have a sick, sick feeling that one day this pudgy man-ster is going to be the focus of one of those twisted true crime documentaries that they’re always running on CBS and NBC before they end up on Identification Discovery Channel.

    • jwoolman says:

One positive thing about Danica’s interview was that she said that when Josh approached her the second time, she talked to him about her reservations because he was too rough and he actually apologized and said he had assumed she liked it because of the porn she was in. More importantly, he was not so rough the second time. Money was the factor for her, though, since he still owed her some for the first time. But even though I still think he has serious rage issues to work out and Danica still thinks his wife and kids need to get away from him, he might be capable of learning and changing. Not likely at the “faith-based rehab”, unfortunately.

  82. Mandy says:

To everyone who’s heartbroken for Anna, did you ever consider some women like to be controlled? My old friend Adryana totally knew what she was doing in her controlled relationships. She wasn’t a weak woman but loved to play the part. Whatever boyfriend she had, she instantly subscribed to his beliefs. She would literally hold their hand while they went to the bathroom and babied them like crazy. She was everything from a goth girl escort who lived with a gay man to a neo nazi to finally a super racist and homophobic Mormon, sealed in the temple. She was blamed for her new husband’s porn problem, too and every time there was a “hot” girl who triggered him to masturbate, she was made to “councel” him too. It was so bad that she didn’t own a television because he said Dove soap commercials would turn him on. Her husband ruled her every thought and she loved it. Never had to make a decision for herself. Her husband’s opinion was absolute fact. Being a giggly little wifey to him and rubbing his feet every night was the happiest I ever saw her. So don’t think Anna doesn’t know that there is help out there. It’s just easier not to think for yourself and it’s a conscious effort not to. Also, Anna knew she was marrying a pedophile and deserves whatever she gets.

    • SillySimone says:

Ok, I’ll take this one. No, it never crossed my mind that Anna might like to be controlled. Why? Because when one has no choice, no options, no education, no experience, no real world understanding, and essentially very little free will, one cannot possibly “like” to be controlled. All she knows is control. First her father, now her husband and father in law.

You answered your own question btw. Your friend had a lot of options, choices, experiences. She made bad choices, but she had them. Anna has no choices so no, she cannot possibly like to be controlled because that implies that she has a choice.

      • Mandy says:

Anna knew before she married him that he had touched his sisters. Her brother has been in contact with her and offered her help so yes, she knows there’s help out there and she didn’t want it. She knowingly married and had children with a someone with a past of molesting children. End of.

      • Mandy says:

And I’m not going to comment further because I’ve already wasted enough time on this dumb story and the dumb people involved and it has nothing to do with my life. So you can argue with yourself if you’re that bored. Bye

      • SillySimone says:

To Mandy: You are so wrong, I don’t even know how to explain this to you.

We don’t know the extent of what Anna knew before she married him. Although I doubt it would have altered anything, because her father had the final say.

You don’t seem to understand what oppression is. She did not marry into an oppressive environment all of a sudden. She was born and raised in one and merely handed over to another. Her entire life has been geared toward obeying the man at the head of her family, which was her father, and now is her father. NOT HER BROTHER – who left the cult and is seen as a sinner. Can you grasp that? Can you understand the difference between having choices and not having choices? She has been brainwashed her entire life. She has no work experience. She has no education. She has no world experience. She has four small children under the age of 6. She has no money. And the ONLY people around her who she trusts are telling her to pray. Just stop.

As for me being dumb? Yeah, um okay. I’m so hurt, I’ll go cry now.

    • Mary s says:

      -1 for Mandy

    • Jag says:

Mandy, while I know that there are men and women out there who like to be controlled to a minute extent, I’m not sure that Anna’s situation is that way.

But you have given me something to think about.

Meh, not surprising at all. It’s the ones who act the most pious for the public that are total freaks behind the scenes. I’m sure some of it stems from the guilt caused by the cognitive dissonance between what they’re doing and what they were told at some point (your urges are filthy and your body is shameful!). Case in point: my ex, who is now on a holy mission to save the world, all because he feels guilty over our (very consensual) sex. He also got his dog to give him a bajowski back in the day. Go figure.

Well. I believe it. He has such low regard & respect for ALL women. Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Bye, Joshy. You tool among tools.

  85. (Original, not CDAN) Violet says:

Josh is confirmed to be at Reformers Unanimous, a place Gawker refers to as a “glorified, bible-based labor camp.” He’ll be there with people dealing with some of the following issues: drug and alcohol addiction, prescription medication, POST-RAPE DEPRESSION, eating disorders, pornography addictions.

That blows my mind — I can’t even begin to imagine being a rape victim, surrounded by rapists and/or pedophiles like Josh.

  86. Layla says:

I know threre are so many people who can and will help Anna if we can. But getting to her would be like getting a message to Truman in The Truman Show. Too many handlers and watchers. I don’t think it can be done.

  87. jenn12 says:

He and Charlie Sheen should become best friends. They deserve each other.

  88. Cara says:

    1. Tomorrow I am going to wake up and see that she is represented by Gloria Allred and 2. If Josh has sired a bunch of God’s blessings with prostitutes and they show up at the Duggar family table for Thanksgiving that is the only time I will watch the show. And please let at least some of them be of color and gay. And vote Democratic. I’ll even make popcorn. It’s time for a little chlorine in the gene pool.

  89. bazokbros says:

So this lady is casting judgement on him and wishes him misery, but was all too happy to be a prostitute and hook up with a married man for money? This from a woman who gets sodomized on camera for a living is passing judgement on someone else? Come on, he’s a douche but really so is she.
