I love Rogue One! The last two films (not counting Solo) are an abomination! I too prefer the EU. The Disney films are bad fan fiction – except for BB-8. I love me some BB-8!
I liked Mara Jade up until the New Jedi Order books. Then I just wanted to slap everybody involved in there who squandered the amazing potential she had by reducing her to the ~badass MILF~. Man, what a waste of a great character.

Yes, the original guy was able to remain anonymous. But sadly, Tyler Perry good deed wasn’t as fortunate. He had to come out after he was outed by some of the workers at Walmart!!
Especially after his partner in the Nashville enterprise was (is still?) threatening a lawsuit and wants the money back that went to the children’s hospital. Still I’m happy for all the people this helps and like @truthSF says Tyler Perry was outed as the one in Georgia.

I deeply dislike Kid Rock and can’t help thinking that this has something to do with his being removed as the Grand Marshal for some parade in Nashville. I don’t know the details– I live in Memphis, so I don’t pay attention generally to things that go on in Nash-Vegas.
All that said, I am a person who grew up with parents who relied on layaway purchases for school clothes and Christmas presents for me and my siblings. So as much as I deeply loathe Kid Rock, I appreciate that he has made the lives of those low/lower-income families who rely on layaway a little easier.
As for Tyler Perry, my understanding is that he really tried to fly under the radar and so I find myself appreciating his generosity and that of the initial donor who paid off a bunch of layaway expenses even more.
