I saw an interview with her at the Vanity Fair party. She was just glowing from within. She looks so happy to be back in Hollywood and working on bigger projects again. I hope Freakier Friday does well. She deserves another hit. From what I read it won’t be a Disney+ original. It will be in theatres.
Her husband seems happy to be in the background and just let her be the star and shine. I just hope he doesn’t try to dim it. He’s a civilian. And just looked a little uncomfortable with the hoopla going on around them.

Nobody « forgot » this. We’re just not interested in punishing someone for the rest of her life for what she did when she was dealing with addiction and struggling through her demons. It’s nice to see a comeback – people aren’t ruined for life because they do things wrong. They’re allowed to grow and learn and improve.

Im a Black woman. I am more willing to forgive actors who gave up their childhoods to entertain me in mine. I have great memories of watching her movies as a kid and want her to succeed, oh no. You’re allowed not to but trying to force other people not to root for someone else to IMPROVE is a bit much.

No, it’s called being raised by two self-centered, alcoholic, narcissistic fuck-ups for parents. I’m happy she’s dealt with those horrible issues and gotten herself back on track as an actress, a mother, and has a happy marriage. Why are some of you so unforgiving and nasty to someone who started out with a lot of strikes against her and who has managed to rise above it all and become a decent person? Far more decent than her awful parents.
