Blake Lively wore Tamara Ralph to the NYC ‘Another Simple Favor’ premiere

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were out again on Sunday, following their somewhat odd appearance at the Time100 gala last week. On Sunday, they came out for a New York premiere/screening of Another Simple Favor. Blake and Anna Kendrick reprise their roles for the sequel, which is exclusively on Amazon Prime. Anna and Blake were shilling for this movie in Europe a few weeks ago, to the point where I thought it had already been released? But no – it comes out on March 7th, so we probably have another week of Blake in promotional mode.

Blake’s friend and fashion designer Michael Kors came out to the premiere, and I honestly thought “oh, I guess she’s wearing Kors?” But no – Kors just came out to support her, and Blake is wearing Tamara Ralph. I’ve already seen some criticism of the dress, but I honestly sort of like it? Blake’s styling isn’t terrible here either. Now, it’s sort of a retro look – it feels very early ‘90s-glamazon-coded.

Anna Kendrick’s ensemble is Zuhair Murad, and I really like this too? It suits her, it’s sexy and light. Anna doesn’t get enough praise for her great hair! Now, the vibes are definitely off – off between Blake and Anna, and off between Blake and Ryan Reynolds.

  1. Well Ryan looks much better than he did for the other event. Not fond of the dress.

    • LolaB says:

Yeah, at least it looks like Ryan knows where he is in these photos.

    • Lau says:

They look like they didn’t go too overboard with the fake tan this time ! Although Blake still had tan stains on her dress (armpit area). Somebody who is reasonable needs to tell them that looking like giant carrots is not a great look.

  2. Amy Bee says:

That photo of Anna and Blake together. LOL.

  3. Eva says:

Ryan looks ridiculous with his bangs combed up like that.

  4. Tuesday says:

I wonder if Ryan is doing recreational drugs. Something is off with him.

  5. StillDouchesOfCambridgei says:

The pictures of the premieres are the worst – she has overextended smiles that feel off with whatever is happening around, other pictures shows her with weird eyes, weird mouth, unflattering pics. Im uncomfortable looking at the pics

I LOVED the first movie. Such a wonderful mix of dark humor and mystery and silliness and exquisite style and fashion.
I can’t wait to see the next one.

    And both leads look gorgeous.

The Baldoni smear campaign seems to have bottomless funding, but again, people love despising women for not being “nice enough” for wanting their own “power” for their “ambition”.
So much- there’s just *something* i don’t like about her. There are stories she is …..RUDE!!

This is just a small thing in comparison, but if only people didn’t hate women, we wouldn’t have voted to start the holocaust, which we are now all witnesses and not stopping in the USA.
Because there’s *something* people didn’t like about Secretary of State Clinton and Vice President Harris.

    • Juliette says:

I think it has more to do with the fact that so far, every allegation she has thrown at him has proven to be false when he has provided video, text and audio proof. This has nothing to do with her not being “nice” enough.

I am a girls girls and will always stick up for my fellow women. However, when it looks like they’re lying – I will take a pause.

I’ve watched numerous reports on how she’s (Blake) tried to steal someone else’s project, attention or identity. Originally I was on her side, but she and her PR team are way over the top and seemingly insufferable. I know you can’t believe everything you read, but Cate Blanchett, Reese Witherspoon, Dwayne Johnson, Angelina Jolie, and Amal Clooney have all had “experiences” with Blake…she’s destroying her career.

Thank you for your post, Juliette. My feelings exactly.

Poor Anna She looks like she is a guest at somebody else’s premiere.

Blake does looks good the colour of the dress is pretty. But her try-hard attitude of look at me and my husband, we are perfect and so good, is kind of giving me ick vibes.

ryan does look better, butt still not like the’Ryan Reynolds’ we know.

  8. StellainNH says:

I can’t watch anything that Lively is in. She just seems like a mediocre person that doesn’t interest me.

  9. Fina says:

The dress is ok, but would be much better if it fitted properly around the chest and was a size bigger in general. Squeezing into dresses is almost never resulting in an elegant look. She has a lovely figure that needs no squeezing.

The Welsh football team that Reynolds owns (with rob McElheny) just got its 3rd promotion in 3 years (a feat the likes of which has never been seen before). The game that clinched it was this weekend, and Ryan was there selling beers in the stalls, so I wonder if some of Ryan’s frazzled looks lately have been due to excitement/stress/fairly frequent transatlantic travel?

  11. wordnerd says:

Has anyone seen Michael Pavano’s impression of Blake on Instagram/TikTok? It’s SO GOOD.

  12. Anne Maria says:

Not a huge fan of either Blake or Ryan but really liked the first film, she was very good in it as was Anna. And whatever owners Ryan and Rob are doing at Wrexham, it’s working.

  13. Bumblebee says:

Something is going on with his hair, which is making him look odd. Both dresses are pretty, but, ouch, Blake’s chest looks squashed. I’m not seeing the body language problem everyone else is?

  14. Katherine Hughes says:

Looks like Ryan had some bad work done recently!

  15. Kasia says:

Exactly this! I read the complaints, really reviewed all evidence that was made available and her case just does not make sense. Her evidence is sketchy and full of holes. I don’t know why she did this , she must have some character defect like narcissism. As a lawyer I don’t understand how her lawyers accepted what she said at face value and did not dig deeper prior to filing the case. Seems like a malpractice to me.
