Here are some photos of Cardi B leaving an LA courthouse on Tuesday. Cardi was being sued by a security guard who claimed that Cardi attacked her inside a gynecologist’s office. The trial was televised last week, and Cardi’s testimony went viral in like a hundred different ways, mostly because she’s hilarious and her delivery is comedic perfection. Honestly, I tried to follow what this case was actually about, but I quickly became convinced that it was a $24 million lawsuit from someone who wanted a quick settlement from Cardi. That’s what the jury said too – they found Cardi not liable for the alleged attack. Cardi spoke outside the courthouse:

A Los Angeles jury has cleared Cardi B of assault accusations from a security guard that originally sued her for $24 million over the alleged attack, Rolling Stone reports.

After the verdict was announced, Cardi spoke to press outside of the courthouse and said it’s been “really tough” to deal with the case in the middle of her album rollout, adding that she missed her kids’ first day of school on Tuesday.

“The next person to try to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I’m going to counter sue and I’m going to make you pay, because this is not okay,” she said, adding, “people have this misinterpretation of celebrities, like, ‘Oh, well, we can ask for this, and they’re going to settle…’ Don’t you ever think that you’re going to sue me and I’m just going to settle and just give you my money. It’s not going to happen.”

Good for Cardi and it sucks that she missed her kids’ first day of school. I wonder if Offset took them? Or maybe Cardi’s parents took them. Speaking of kids, from all of the videos of Cardi coming and going from court, it very much looked like Cardi had a pregnancy waddle going on. She’s been doing an okay job of camouflaging her alleged pregnancy with her suits, but as soon as you see her walk or you see certain angles, she definitely looked preg. Well, when one of the journalists outside the courthouse asked her about it, she threw a pen at them. She also posted a video where it looks like she’s wearing pregnancy padding? So I don’t know.
