Here are some photos of Jennifer Lawrence at the London Film Festival premiere of Die, My Love. Interestingly, this dress is not another boring Dior from one of Dior’s main brand ambassadors. This is a boring Armani Prive! Yeah, I’m not crazy about it, but it’s fine for the event. It feels like Jennifer is pacing herself sartorially, if that makes sense. Simple black dresses and gowns for the early events/festivals for Die, My Love. And then the bigger fashion moments will come later, if and when she starts getting nominated for awards.

Speaking of, it’s been a minute since J-Law had the lead in an Oscar-bait film, and that’s exactly what this is. I’m actually looking forward to her campaign! Jennifer used to really oversaturate the market with her interviews and Oscar campaigns, but years have passed and now she’s a mom of two kids and she seems much more lowkey. She did appear on the most recent episode of Graham Norton’s show – she looooves Graham Norton – and she ended up telling some funny stories about her DML costar, Robert Pattinson. Obviously, they’re totally besties now, but I think it’s so funny that Rob is now known as “effectively every woman’s best girlfriend and gossip buddy.”

“Because Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals…but he’s also like my daughter. He’s a great father, he’s a professional, he shows up on time, but I wouldn’t trust that he, like, put a coat on. He brings out a very maternal [side in me].” Rob’s partner/wife Suki Waterhouse said that about him too, that when they’re away from each other, all they do is talk on the phone and gossip. Rob is for the girls! I love that he’s a girl-dad now too.

Getting back to these LFF photos… for years now, there’s been speculation about whether Jennifer has gotten cosmetic work and/or injectables. Jennifer claims that it’s just makeup and, obviously, her face and body has changed after two pregnancies. Looking at these photos, I kind of believe that it’s just injectables here and there, especially around her eyes and mouth. She doesn’t look completely different, just tweaked a bit.
