I love seeing all the women Christian Siriano dresses for the awards seasons. He’s such a workhorse and he makes unique statement gowns. For my money Chase Sui Wonders had the best Siriano look in this strapless emerald green princess gown. So many women were in this color last night! She looked like she was having fun and I’ve been a fan since seeing her in the new I Know What You Did Last Summer. Chase is in The Studio, which won Best series – comedy or musical and Best actor – comedy or musical for Seth Rogen.
I’m not familiar with Olandria, but she won second place on Love Island last year and Siriano featured her heavily on his Instagram. This is a lovely gown and she looks regal, but I’m not fond of the mermaid hem. There’s enough going on with the boned corset.
Presenter Queen Latifah was also in deep green although I don’t have an ID on her gown. (I doubt Siriano dressed her or he would have featured her on social media.) The flow and drape of this dress is stunning. During the end of his acceptance speech Adolescence star Stephen Graham got distracted and gave Queen Latifah a shout out like he was star struck, which was funny.
Melissa McCarthy was in a Siriano gown with a braided gold front and sides. I’ve never seen a gown like this and it’s not my favorite but it’s neat looking.
Alicia Silverstone also wore Siriano. She was in a crimson gown with a sweetheart neckline and a ruched skirt. This looked better on camera than it does in still photos.

Thrilled to see dresses in colors. So tired of drab, washed out, pale flesh-tone nothingness, in any of its forms.
Same!
Love a Siriano centric post! I don’t always love love his stuff but I love how good his people look in his gowns. Melissa McCarthy is my favorite! Elegant but also edgier than I think of her. If I was rich and famous I’d be on his doorstep constantly asking for clothes.
I loved Melissa McCarthy’s dress. It was edgy and cool and once one of my favorites of the night. A big departure for MM.
Chase and Olandria were my favorite looks. Classy and elegant. I give Olandria the edge as I gasped when I first saw Olandra’s look.
I think they all look pretty fantastic!!! Siriano knocked it out of the park. Love the emerald/seafoam green, what a beautiful shade. That face card on Queen Latifah never gets declined.
I absolutely LOVE Melissa’s dress. So chic and glamorous at the same time. Love the nails.
Alicia’s dress is simple and beautiful. I love blondes in that beautiful, lush red. Love her styling.
Love Siriano and I think all the ladies look lovely. Alicia Silverstone’s posture or posing doesn’t seem to do her justice but it’s nice to hear the gown looked better in motion.
I agree that Chase Sui Wonders had the best Siriano gown. The detail in the back is lovely.
My favorite color is emerald/forest green, and it suits them all beautifully. Everyone in this round-up looks fantastic!
So glad to see full dresses without sheer panels or skirts, I have been ready for the nude/visible underwear trend to end since it debuted!
This is the best I’ve ever seen Melissa McCarthy look. Perfection.
Queen Latifahs dress was by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. It reminded me of Last Holiday and the red dress and pashmina. But not the same designer.
I just saw Alicia Silverstone in a movie, and I LOVE that she is aging naturally. For the first time in a long time, there wasn’t any plastic surgery that took me out of the movie. I cannot express clearly how much all the fillers in Hollywood are driving me crazy and making me sad.
Am I the only one who thinks these dresses look very amateur and cheap? You can see Alicia Silverstone’s chest through the middle seam of her dress because the fabric is not even touching and the top of the seam has been ripped/cut. With Chase Sui Wonders’ dress you can see the boning in the corset AND her bellybutton through the fabric.
