Ready or Not 2: Here I Come premieres this week and we have some photos from the premiere screening in LA this week. I loved the first one and I’m planning to watch this in theaters. This weekend the weather is supposed to be beautiful so I might just go hiking and save this for next weekend when it’s going to rain, but I digress. Samara Weaving, 34, stars alongside Kathryn Newton, 29. (She was great in Lisa Frankenstein.) Samara is obviously currently pregnant with her first baby, with her husband of four years, director Jimmy Warden. (They met on the set of their 2017 movie, The Babysitter.) They’re super cute together so I’m including a photo of them below. I love seeing celebrity couples for some reason. These photos of Samara remind me of Kate Hudson baring her baby bump at a premiere in 2003 when she was pregnant with Ryder. Do you remember that? It was a little scandalous at the time.
Margot Robbie came to the premiere too. Like Margot, Samara is Australian and they were in 2022’s Babylon together. Hello! Magazine calls them dopplegangers and they kind of are! Is that scary like Ryan Coogler says it is? I’ve never had a fear of women who look like me, especially after Ana Cooper lent me her expired driver’s license in college. I got into so many bars with that.
Margot and Samara are two peas in a pod and they’re gorgeous. I’m happy to see that Margot Robbie is sweeping her bangs aside now and that’s all I’ll say about that.
Samara is actually a nepo baby of sorts. She’s Hugo Weaving’s niece. She talked about it in the Take Your Shoes Off podcast, and said she didn’t know he was an actor until she was about 14 or 15. She also denied that he was how she got into the business.

This is the movie I was thinking about when reading the other article on Celebitchy on the Duffer BRos new movie. It sounds similar.
