The gossip made sense to me – Kendall doesn’t really have a type, and Jacob does. Jacob loves a dark-eyed brunette with delicate features. Meanwhile, most straight women like a tall, handsome Aussie who carries a man-bag. This coupling made perfect sense. Well, it looks like this wasn’t just a Coachella hookup, Kendall and Jacob are really dating and they have been for a couple of months.

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have quietly been spending time together amid growing romance rumors.

“They’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” a source tells PEOPLE exclusively, as romance rumors surrounding the pair continue to swirl.

Speculation about the supermodel, 30, and the Wuthering Heights actor, 28, reached a fever pitch following the first weekend of Coachella, with fans closely tracking their movements and connections. While neither Jenner nor Elordi has publicly commented on the rumors, the buzz has only continued to build.

The two have long moved in similar celebrity circles. Elordi previously attended Jenner’s birthday celebration in 2022, and earlier this year, the pair were spotted deep in conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Reps for Jenner and Elordi did not immediately respond to requests for comment from PEOPLE.

Jenner was most recently linked to Bad Bunny, with the pair splitting in December 2023 after less than a year of dating. She previously had a two-year relationship with Devin Booker (2020–2022) and has also been romantically linked to Ben Simmons, Blake Griffin, A$AP Rocky and Harry Styles.

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have reportedly been dating since February. The model and the “Euphoria” star first sparked dating rumors when Deuxmoi reported that the two were “making out” and “all over each other” at Justin Bieber’s weekend one Coachella 2026 afterparty.

But Jenner and Elordi have already been dating for two months, according to a Daily Mail report published Tuesday. A source told the outlet that Jenner’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner, was actually the one who played matchmaker for her and Elordi.

“Kylie was around Jacob a lot during [her boyfriend] Timothée’s [Chalamet] award season marathon because Jacob was nominated for ‘Frankenstein’ and Timothee was nominated for ‘Marty Supreme,’” the source shared. “Kylie liked him and thought he would be good for Kenny so she was like, ‘girl, get on it, date this guy already.’”

The insider added that Kendall had actually already known Elordi for years, but that Kylie was instrumental in getting him “out of the friend zone” — noting that Kylie is “the leader” between the sisters.

“‘Kylie is the alpha sister and pushed Kenny to start a romance with Jacob because she wanted to set up double dates with Timothée,” the source said.
