It’s been almost a week since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married, and we still haven’t seen any pictures of her Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown. I thought they’d release a picture fairly quickly to avoid potential leaks, but I was wrong. The Daily Mail and TMZ have published leaked footage from inside MSG, but there hasn’t been a credible dress picture. Dior said that they’ll only show their pictures of the dress after Taylor posts hers first on Instagram. I’m impressed at how well she’s been able to lock this down.

Taylor’s gown was designed by Dior’s Jonathan Anderson in “close collaboration” with Taylor. It was the first wedding dress that he designed for a big celebrity. During Dior’s fall 2026 couture collection show, Women’s Wear Daily Paris asked Anderson about making Taylor’s gown. He told them that he’d loved working with Taylor and they became friends during the process. From WWD:

Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson shared new details about designing Taylor Swift‘s wedding dress for her Friday nuptials to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.

As he unveiled the French luxury fashion house’s fall 2026 couture collection, Anderson spoke with WWD Paris bureau chief Joelle Diderich about his latest curation and revealed a few specifics about the process of creating the 14-time Grammy winner’s wedding dress.

“It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends,” Anderson said. “It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding.” Official photos from the couple’s Madison Square Garden wedding have yet to be released.

The designer offered up another striking bridal-inspired dress on the runway Monday, perhaps an indication he’s ready for more custom bridal gigs.

Swift and Kelce, who got engaged in August 2025, said “I do,” at New York City’s sports and entertainment landmark on Friday following several weeks of speculation regarding the venue for the singer’s and Kansas City Chief tight end’s star-studded ceremony.

Both Swift and Kelce were dressed in Christian Dior haute couture for Friday’s festivities. Swift accessorized her wedding day attire with pieces of Cartier jewelry and a pair of custom Christian Louboutin pumps.

A bevy of high-profile figures joined the couple on Friday to celebrate, dressed in monochrome, black-tie attire. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Kelsea Ballerini were among Swift’s guests.

By wearing Anderson’s Dior design on her wedding day, Swift became the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding gown by the house’s creative director of women’s, men’s and haute couture, according to a press release from her publicist, Tree Paine.

I’m not surprised Taylor and Jonathan became friends while he was making her wedding gown. She trusted him to design a dress for one of the most important events of her life. Of course it was an emotional experience. I’d get close with the person doing that for me, too. Taylor also loves making friends and invited at least 1,000 of them to her wedding.

It’s pretty remarkable that Anderson’s inaugural celebrity gown was for the most high-profile wedding of the year. WWD posted a video of some of the looks from Anderson’s couture show. I would be shocked if Taylor’s ceremony gown looked anything like those, but could see her wearing a similar style for her reception dress. I looked at some of Anderson’s recent wedding gown designs and theorize that Taylor went with a dramatic take on a more traditional gown. I bet she had lace and diamonds galore. Just for fun, I think she’ll either release pictures from the wedding today, July 8, because it’s the anniversary of the day Travis saw the Eras Tour or on July 16, which is 13 days after the ceremony.
