Lindsay Lohan spent 7 hours in deposition, might go to jail

Yesterday, Lindsay Lohan finally showed up for her deposition! Third time was the charm, although even with her mom’s help, Lindsay still arrived 22 minutes late. TMZ’s sources claimed that during the depo, Lindsay was given a “hard time” and that the “plaintiff’s lawyers took the gloves off”. The final count for Lindsay’s depo? Seven hours. Jesus. That’s a lot of crack shenanigans to cover.

Speaking of crack shenanigans, Dina Lohan told Radar that it was “an absolute lie” that she and Lindsay were partying and drinking at the Chateau Marmont just hours before Lindsay’s depo. Dina said: “That is an absolute lie, we went out for dinner to the Chateau Marmont and we were home by 11 o’clock, I don’t know where they got that from, my ex [Michael Lohan] put that out and it is an absolute lie. He was at Industry until 2:30 in the morning, he was the one who was out.” Radar has video of Dina’s denials here. I’m shocked by the lack of “milkaholic” and “she’s just a child” references.

Meanwhile, Radar has an exclusive story about Lindsay’s criminal case. For Lindsay’s criminal case – of which she’s still on probation, the prosecuting attorney Danette Meyers tells Radar: “I don’t know yet if Lindsay has indeed violated probation. If she hasn’t violated probation, I will be very happy for her and send her on her way. However, if she has in fact violated the terms of her probation, I will be asking the judge for a significant jail time.” Radar also points out that it is at the judge’s discretion as to whether or not Lindsay will be facing jail time, and that Lindsay’s progress report has yet to be completed. A source told Radar that the lawyers and judge met for 45 minutes yesterday, and that the judge “will be looking very closely at Lindsay’s attendance at her alcohol awareness classes, which she was ordered to attend once a week. We are told that even if Lindsay were to attend classes regularly for the next several weeks leading up to the May 20th progress report hearing date, it might be too late for Lohan to avoid the ire of Judge Revel. Judge Revel has made it very clear to Lindsay at previous hearings that if she were to violate terms of probation, she would be going to jail.”

LL looks as old and haggard as her mom

  2. YT says:

I see big money going to pay off the people at the alcohol awareness classes in order to get their report to show that Lindsay showed up every seven days as ordered.

  3. Bam Bam says:

Really not as attractive as she used to be, is she?

  4. Icecat says:

Seriously? Shorts to court? Most judges would scold a normal person for this.

    LOCK HER UP!!

  5. Lisa says:

The entire situation with this girl is sad. My daughter used to love Lindsay Lohan back in her “Mean Girls” days. Now us parents have to try and explain why she is on such a downward spiral. Thank goodness there are young women like Emma Watson and Taylor Swift for girls to look up to.

  6. meme says:

Hohan isn’t going to jail. Apparently, this brat could get away with murder. I don’t get it.

  7. Truth says:

LiLo needs her roots done before they lock her up.

  8. Richi says:

LL looks way too old for her age! she looked really pretty & charming in her movie with Tyra Banks.Look at her now she looks way too old. I hope she would learn to live a responsible life soon…is she not ashamed that so many news pops up about her almost every day and that too not good ones????

  9. GatsbyGal says:

Is that what she wore to court? Jesus Christ, send her to prison now, she’s not taking any of this seriously.

  10. cedar falls says:

“I don’t know where they got that from, my ex [Michael Lohan] put that out.”

    ?!!

  11. Scarlet Vixen says:

Blohan and her equally crazy and delusional mother don’t look very concerned about potential seriousness of the situation she’s in, do they?

Can’t believe she wore SHORTS to court. Seriously? No, really, seriously?

  12. Bodhi says:

She didn’t go to court yesterday, she went to a deposition, which are usually held in an attorney’s office. She should have dressed more professionally, but she wasn’t actually in court.

That being said, I’d love it if she got locked up

  13. gg says:

This isn’t court – it was a bunch of lawyers sitting at a long table in most likely their office conference room, asking her pointed questions with a court reporter present, no judge.

Anyway, I am fascinated with dude’s hair standing behind her in the picture. Are those teeny braids?

  14. Tia C says:

Glad she finally made it to the depo.

With her newly-grown double chin, Lindsay is starting to look older than her Mom! And what is with the Hohans and the bad dye jobs? IMHO, if both Lindsay and Dina went with their natural hair color, they’d look so much better. Lindsay needs to go with her natural (and lovely) auburn, and Dina needs to stop with the bleach! Bleach blonde hair on an old hag like her just makes her look older and haggier!

  15. Michelle says:

She’s gone to rehab several times and it obviously did not do a thing to help her, nor will any classes or programs. Stop giving the girl a break before she kills herself, or worse, someone else. Lock her up for a while like any other destructive person who continues to flagrantly disregard not just terms of her probation but the law in general- and not some BS 90 minutes in a cell- let her serve out a real sentence for a few weeks or months so that she gets the point. Again, nothing else has worked…

  16. working says:

Cedar falls…i was thinking the EXACT same thing HAha 🙂 This family is so ridiculous

  17. andrea says:

when you are on the verge of going to jail and have bailed on a depo, you don’t show up to the depo in shorts with a big stupid grin.

it probably took 7 hours b/c the attorneys knew they’d have a hard time getting her in for any follow-up questions so they better cover all the bases.

they should be giving her a hard time – that’s all she’s been giving them.

that comment from her mom about “her ex” – really appropriate, mature, etc.

this whole family should be sterilized so the world does not have to deal with any more lohans. sheesh. at what point can you just lock people away for being too dumb for life?

  18. nanster says:

Those aren’t shorts – her skirt is caught in her camel toe… 🙂

  19. Jackie says:

What she wears to the depo has nothing to do with anything. Those shorts probably cost what I make in a month. Its just a lawyer’s office, not court. Even if the deposition was held in a room at the courthouse, it is still NOT COURT. Lawyers are just people; not gods. They don’t deserve any more respect than anyone else does; i.e. they are NOT special (although I agree Lindsay thinks SHE’s special). Also 7 hours seem a very long time for a deposition when they really only had a few questions to ask her didn’t they. Like did you take the car or not? A 7 hour deposition is extreme and her attorney should have objected. That seems more like a jail sentence than a deposition. If I were her, I would have left after a few hours. These attorneys were obviously playing their “power” card. Having said all that, I do think she is a trainwreck and she has been given way too many chances. But that is for the judge to decide if he should throw her in jail for her past offenses. She is not to be punished by the ignorant attorneys.

  20. Michelle says:

But Jackie… it is the job of those “ignorant attorneys” to garner and present the facts about the case to present to the judge so that he can make a judgment accordingly. How are they punishing her when it took all but the national guard to even bring her in for said deposition that had already been dodged on LiLo’s behalf on numerous occasions? What do you expect, the attorneys to sugar-coat everything and pat her on the back for just showing up, and then send her on her merry way fifteen minutes later? I hope they grilled her good.

  21. Ruby Red Lips says:

    Vile people…(the Lohans..not the attorneys!)

I’m, thinking even by some miracle she ends up in jail, her people (i.e Dina) will milk it for all the PR they can and Lindsay will have her career back and wont have learnt a thing

  22. Scarlet Vixen says:

Ugh…who cares if it was technically ‘court’ or an attorney’s office in a courthouse? Close enough in my opinion…

That being said, expensive or not, courtroom or not, shorts are not an appropriate garment to wear in a professional environment. If you want to be taken seriously, you don’t show up to a meeting, deposition, etc. looking like you haven’t showered in a month wearing shorts and a jacket that looks like it has a ripped sleeve. And if said attorneys are trying to put your arse in jail, then maybe they should be given a little respect–whether they ‘deserve it’ or not.

@Michelle: Well said! Why should the “ignorant attorneys” (that makes me laugh) so easy on her? Maybe it wasn’t their fault at all. Maybe it took 7hrs because LiLo had to stop every 15 min to pee/snort up/nap/remember where she was/etc…

  23. Bodhi says:

7 hours is not all that long for a deposition; some last for days. Its the the other side’s attorneys JOB to get all the facts they need

  24. Madisyn says:

The picture of them smiling is one of two things. 1. Were done! Lets do a line and have a drink or 2. Don’t you just love the attention were getting for me getting my azz sued and them possibly taking every cent I have!

  25. M says:

People, people, her going to jail will do NOTHING to get her clean! Why? Because she will get her adderall from the jail/prison doctor because her “physican” will say she needs it and she’ll get her coke/meth from the jail/prison dealer!

  26. vcsjones says:

I’m not one for humanity, but this poor girl is in for a world of hurt if she keeps this up. It’s gone from amusing to flat out sad.

I would hope that a little time in the clink will get her head on straight.

  27. Jag says:

Please, please, please judge, lock her up. That might be the only way she learns any kind of responsibility or that us peons have consequences for our actions. (crosses fingers)
