Duchess Meghan posted a new charity sweatshirt & a video of her kids at a deer park

The Duchess of Sussex posted the above Instagram photo over the weekend – a lovely shot of Meghan in England, wearing a sweatshirt from Alliance of Moms. The sweatshirt has “It’s the little things” written on it, and it’s being offered through a collaboration between Alliance of Moms, Archewell Philanthropies, Moms Offering More and Alliance for Children’s Rights. The proceeds from the sales go to all of those groups, and the sweatshirt was being offered for the International Day of the Girl.

That wasn’t the only new post on Meghan’s Instagram – she also posted a short video on her Stories of Archie and Lili walking along a path in England, with their backpacks on. In case you’re wondering about this estate the Sussexes are staying in, it apparently belongs to a billionaire hedge fund guy who met the Sussexes in September 2018. This guy and the Sussexes flew to Amsterdam together, on the guy’s private jet, and the jet was struck by lightning mid-flights. All of this is according to Tom Sykes’ Royalist Substack. Basically, Harry and Meghan share a bond with this guy because they had a near-death experience together.

Meanwhile, Page Six’s sources claim that Prince Harry has spoken to his father several times over the phone since the Sussexes’ move back to the UK, and another in-person meeting will probably happen at some point. A source told P6: “Absolutely, everyone hopes that father and son can have a closer — more private — relationship. It just does not help when every time they meet or speak it leaks out.” Fun story: the last time Charles met with Harry, Buckingham Palace confirmed the meeting with an official statement. That didn’t come from Team Sussex. Palace sources are also saying that King Charles is still mad as hell about Charles Spencer’s Swan Song, and “The fact that Harry was just with his uncle in the summer makes it seem that he has a good relationship with him — and the King is furious about the book.” Boohoo.

Sykes is a weirdo, Amazes me why so many are concerned with where the Sussexes are living in the UK, as if that affects them in any way. Another form of pocket watching. The level of detail these folks provide suggests they have been working hard to dig up whatever information they provide. For private citizens, the Sussexes sure have a lot of people twisting themselves in knots keeping up with their pockets and discussing their net worth. Their children are growing like weeds. I wish Harry well as he tries to navigate a relationship with his father, a man who looking at from the outside can not be trusted.

Outside or inside, Charles cannot be trusted.

Is it just me being incompetent, or has it recently become much harder to find Sykes’ column on the Daily Beast? There’s no longer a “Royalist” tab on the banner across the top. If you scroll down the Beast homepage, there are various categories, including a Royals link, but that takes you directly to his paid substack. Previously, Sykes had his own Royalist tab at the Beast, but I’m having trouble finding it.

I’d like to think all the people putting in Sykes’ comments that they unsubscribed from the Beast because of him had an impact. I was one of them (although I had purchased a yearly subscription, so I have until next spring to snark in the comments). Or maybe, the Beast figured out I was one of the haters and limited my access, if they can even do that, which I doubt.

Gotta love it that now Spencer’s book is out and Charles is running scared as he should be he desperately needs Harry to vouch for him. Charles is such a piece of merde. They tried to triangulate Harry between William and his dad. I guess it backfired because neither William or Charles really cares about each other. But Spencer and Harry clearly have a true connection. So now it’s Charles out in the cold scratching at the door and William is just….. MIA. With Jason. LOL.

    • Chrissy says:

I love the “piece of merde”! Haven’t heard that phrase in quite a while. And such a fitting discriptor! It could apply to Trump too!

That lane, with the deer crossing, looks like Althorpe, doesn’t it?

And DAAAAMN, HOW does this 45 yr old woman look like a 19 yr old co-ed?? I *really* want to know her skin care routine!! Diet, genes, only account for so much, so you know she has to have *some* skin care products she uses religiously to keep that face looking so young.

M literally can *not* take a bad pic! She is just gorgeous.

    • Beth says:

Nope. Richmond Park on a family day out over the weekend, it’s being reported (by more reputable outlets than Psycho Sykes’ substack). A lovely place.

      • Advisor2U says:

Firstly, Richmond Park is in London. The kids down live/go to school in London. Or during the weekend, that’s so laughable. It’s troll’s gossip, parroted many online, that doesn’t make sense.

Secondly: that is the same estate Meghan has shared previously with the family having down time. This pic must have been taken sometime during the week when they came home or as they were going to school. And the property indeed belongs to their billionaire friend. It’s were they are staying at currently. It’s about twice as big as Althorp. It’s an organic/farming property, with forest land, lakes, etc., and area with many private housing facilities: farmhouses, and a big manor house where their friend’s family lives. Ive seen arial pics, its big, the bridge can also be identified. They intend to stay there for the time being (maybe for the duration of their UK stay), which makes sense. The estate has all they need for a safe stay in the UK at this point.

The music choice is a bit odd. Very American song to celebrate the kids living in England now. Lovely and goes with the scene, but just a touch jarring to me.

      • BaileyS says:

Not really…an American mother posting a picture of her American/British children living in the UK to a tune recorded by American artists isn’t odd…perfect mixture of cultures. That being said she posted it on International Day of the Girl and the song title is “My Girl” I think that may have been what Meghan was focused on not the nationality of the artists.

      • JT says:

Many people around the world use American songs for their social media posts. It’s not that deep.

      • paintybox says:

The music world has cultural music for sure but it doesn’t really have borders.

      • Amy Bee says:

Huh? Meghan’s American. So her preference in music is supposed to change because she’s in the UK?

      • Advisor2U says:

A song named “My Girl”, accompanied by a short vid with their kids (boy and girl) on ”The International Day of Girls”, is very appropriate, I would argue.

    • Jane says:

honestly this is what I was hoping would happen, a lifestyle coffee table book where she whispers her secrets to us. I’m in the UK so can’t buy As ever (yet) but I was hoping we’d get a beautiful book on hosting, self-care, recipes, gardening and I especially loved the crafty sections of WLM.

    • Gabby says:

I love that the dog is so busy sniffing grass he (?) doesn’t care about the HERD OF DEER there to chase.

      • Lawrenceville says:

I haven’t seen Mia in any UK pictures or vids, only Pula. Seems like Mia is too old and they probably didn’t think it was safe to move her transatlantic? I think Mia being a beagle would definitely be chasing after those deer, LOL. I love how the Sussexes have built this nice life for themselves, no airs around anything, just an organic family that one gravitates toward and feels like always rooting for them. And Archie on his rollers with his little sister and their dog beside him is so cute.
Anyways, to the original post, sometimes it’s just genes and nothing else. I am 65 but have always passed for “somewhere in the 40s” and I’m just a neonatal RN with no money anywhere close to a 20th of what the Sussexes have. I use nothing on my skin except a regular loofah and that’s it, but my skin is genetically really beautiful, I think it’s the only thing I have going for me. So yeah, sometimes it’s just those old genes and that’s it.

  4. Smices says:

I interpreted the song as a reference to day of the girl. Hence,”My girl.”

  5. Lala11_7 says:

After reading Charles Spencer’s book…Diana’s side of the family seems healthy & loving & supportive which Harry NEVA had with his large family & something Meghan said she craved…so I see why H&M are taking this opportunity to solidify their expanded family bonds on the side that isn’t Bat 🤬 toxic…

  6. Becks1 says:

Did i buy that sweatshirt immediately? yes, yes i did, lol.

Love that Meghan is still just doing her thing while the press is in a state of constant meltdown about it..

  7. B says:

Harry and Meghan are giving a masterclass on how to use your platform and fundraise for causes you support. Sigh..if only William and Kate copied the work as well as the outfits and poses then their unhinged jealousy and one side competition would at least benefit some people or causes.

  8. YankeeDoodles says:

If that’s Richmond Park I was running past the same herd of deer on Saturday morning! 😂🦌 it’s rutting season so the stags are bellowing and chasing the females who move in packs rapidly. Dogs are meant to be on leads. We take mine periodically, never off lead. A friend had a deer chase her dog & stomp on it. They get very touchy. But it’s a stunning place, & this weekend was spectacular & sunny.

  9. Amy Bee says:

The sweat shirt sold out within hours too. It was restocked later in the day.

  10. QuiteContrary says:

Lili looks so little with her backpack … so sweet.

I cannot get over Charles not having seen the Sussexes since their move. Real Grandfather of the Year material.

    • Slough says:

Just because it hasn’t been reported doesn’t mean they haven’t met. Besides, H&M seem to have plenty on their plates.

  11. Susan says:

Am I the only person that would pay good money to read Meghan’s account of the lightning strike on the plane?? How do we manifest an Op-Ed from her??

  12. tamsin says:

Is the Sussex UK home confirmed by any reliable source? The deer part might be part of their daily routine. Lovely of Meghan to give us glimpses of her growing children. It seems that Lili is not quite as fascinated by the deer as Archie who is now twice seen heading toward them. Lili strikes me as an independent and confident little soul. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is going to be a force of nature.
