I don’t understand how guys find that attractive… by that I mean Danielle Staub. She’s had waaay to much plastic surgery. She looks creepy.

  3. Honey Love says:

puhleeze she looks 20 something on the cover. REDO Essences. Show the real Jada and not this no line person. Epic Fail!!!

  4. Lilias says:

You are so right about Giada’s baby! So cute even when she’s got “mommy do we have to be here face” happening.

And Zomg what have they done to poor Jada Pinkett-Smith? She’s gorgeous without looking like a cartoon.

  5. Kaboom says:

Lindsay needs no additional fair trials but finally a firm execution of her sentence.

  6. JustBe says:

What’s really sad is that the editor’s note in the Essence mag says that Jada called the mag and stated that she wanted to do an ‘all-natural’ cover shoot.
When I read that, I had to take another look at the cover and swallow my annoyance.
Perhaps the new ‘all-natural’ is like most unregulated dietary supplements, i.e. full of fluff and fake.
To begin with, her eyes and teeth look unnaturally white and are brighter than the white text on the cover page.
How can we claim to celebrate the beauty of women of any color if the media constantly bombards us with unattainable, fake images?

  7. benny says:

What’s weird is that they lightened her skin color. Of all magazines, I don’t think “Essence” should be doing that. Shame on them.

Oh, and there’s nothing “natural” about this woman at all. I still remember when she and her husband showed up at an awards or movie opening or something, and stopped to give an interview on how they were going to skip the affair and go home to their sick kid because that’s the kind of parents they are. What?! Why did you leave the sick kid in the first place? Obviously, so they could give an interview on what great parents they are. They are a couple of the biggest phonies around.

She is not on my favorite list.

    should read:
“Jada Pinkett Smith is Photoshopped into oblivion”, still fugly, links

  11. maria says:

I subscribe to Essence. I can’t stand this piece. I had to remove the cover of the magazine. I just don’t want it in my house.

  12. EB says:

I am definitely NOT a fan of Jada Plinko Smith. She has no acting skills (she basically plays the same yelling, hard-a** character every time, and she and her husband are such fakes it is ridiculous. There is a certain poetic justice in her photo being Photoshopped to hell – fake is as fake does!

  13. buckley says:

That is one harsh looking tranny.

  14. RHONYC says:

i’m a black chic and uhhhhhhhh i think i’ll PASS on jada’s advice to black women on beauty.

her, vivica & a few others are gettin’ very ‘strangé’ with all those crazy cheek enhancements.

besides…none of those cocoa hollywood chicas can hold a candle to me anyway. 🙂

    served.

  15. Allie says:

I hate to admit this, but I did see “Furry Venegance” and was SHOCKED how much weight Brendan Fraser had gained!

Yes, he used to be SO hot. Isn’t is funny, he’s gained all this weight, and there’s no mention of it, just his bad selection of movies he’s made. Now, if an actress, dared to gain that much weight, it’d be all over the media. It’s sad there’s so much emphasis on women’s weight, when a man’s weight goes unnoticed.

  16. Maritza says:

That’s the way she looked like probably 20 years ago and the way she wishes she looked like now.

  17. walker says:

I saw pics of her and Will at the Karate Kid premiere and it really looks like she got cheek implants.

  18. She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named says:

just comparing that cover to the photo below it, not only does her skin look like a completely different color, but her eyes don’t even look the same color. Can’t tell much about her hair. How exactly is this “natural?” and how is this “celebrating” your body?

  19. heb says:

Didn’t Gaga turn down playboy when she first started out on the scene?

  20. Emily says:

@Allie, the worst thing is a lot of the weight’s around his middle, which is the worst place to have it, health-wise.

Man, I used to love him in his Mummy days. And on Scrubs. Bitch needs to get hot again!

  21. Harper says:

Her life is photoshopped to death why shouldn’t she be too.

  22. chaz says:

She always had a reputation of being a complete bitch from my sources. That evil self centered thinking will age you quickly. skelatoramus

  23. Mentok the Mind Taker says:

I thought Jada was fun in “A Lowdown Dirty Shame”.

Now — she just frightens me. I don’t think I’d want to meet her on a day when her hormones are raging. She looks like she might stash something sharp. Serious anger issues there…

Speaking of issues — Brendan Fraser. It’s sad that he let himself go physically, but what’s even worse is how mentally unstable he seems in interviews. Nice guy, but “tense”. Really, really, really like “Brendan, did you remember to take your Lithium today?” kind of tense. Keep the sharp objects away from him, too. And don’t mention “Dudley Do-Right”. He’s still a bit touchy about that.

Still, I’ll watch George of the Jungle without sound any day. God, he was tasty. Sigh.

  24. KO says:

@Allie – What’s sadder is that people will SPECULATE why she gained weight, the main being ”is she pregnant?”

  25. ViktoryGin says:

Jada Pinkett hasn’t looked like this in about 5 years. A naturally rail thin petite woman, the little fat that she does have is waning (as it the natural ageing process) and she’s beginning to age. While I don’t find her distasteful, I don’t particularly care for her. There’s snobbish hardness about her that turns me off.

Giada’s baby is geuninely adorable and I don’t think that of most celeb kids that I see :/

  26. ogechi says:

    I Love i love

  27. Victoria says:

@Just a Poster: Wha ha ha ha ha!!!!
@Benny: Other people have commented about that same “we left our sick him at home to come here and tell you what dedicated parents we are”. I wish the reporter (never gonna happen) would have said “You need to get home and take care of this kid you’re SOOOO concerned about!”

  28. Di says:

    1. I’m tired of the sexist ageism of the photo-shop attacks on women over 35. Men of all ages and young women are photo-shopped, too, but we don’t hear these nasty attacks about changes to the way they look.

2.I don’t get all of this hatred for Jada. Yes, the photo is over-photo-shopped, but she’s still a beautiful woman who is aging well. She’s also a solid actress (See Bamboozled) and a successful producer (Karate Kid and various tv projects.). If anything, be angry at Essence or the industry, but don’t attack Jada just for being on the magazine.

    3. I’m a black woman too, and I want to tell the black women here who are trashing Jada – we need to support black actresses. They only get a fraction of the roles of white women and black men – who also get limited roles.

Why are you bragging about how much you hate Jada, as if somebody going to pat you on the head give you a cookie for attacking another black woman? Trashing black actresses online just because a magazine photoshopped them just makes things worse. If we don’t support black actresses, who will?

  29. Diva says:

Di, Just because you’re black doesn’t mean you have to or need to support other black actress/actor/or any other black person. That doesn’t make sense. What if they are horrible actresses/actors or human being in general. Does that mean we should support them? Should all Italians like and rally around Jersey Shores cast or what about the Armenians and the Kardashians or or or… Get a grip. It doesn’t always have to be about “our people”. That’s what’s wrong with society. Too many divisions of color…and yeah I’m black too.
