Lindsay Lohan is dressed as a nun, licking a gun & other monstrosities

This is a promotional image for Robert Rodriguez’s new film Machete. I keep forgetting that Lindsay Lohan had a smaller part in it. Robert Rodriguez forgot too, because when he was cutting the trailer for the film, he forgot to include Lindsay! Oh well, at least she got to dress up like a nun and lick a big gun, right? I have to admit, the film looks pretty interesting. DeNiro!

In other Lindsay news, her stalker Dr. Drew Pinsky decided to give yet another interview about the state Lindsay is in. The last time he talked about Lindsay, he said that her parents should plant drugs in her car and call the cops on her. So of course Lindsay got into a blood feud with him, running to the press to call him a loser and avoiding him at all costs. Let’s see what Dr. Drew has to say as our resident Crackhead Expert:

Famed addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky is coming to the defense of Lindsay Lohan, saying the Mean Girls star should NOT be sent to jail. In an exclusive new interview with RadarOnline.com, Dr. Drew – who does not, nor has ever treated Lindsay – weighs in on her out-of-control spiral.

Dr. Drew tells us, “Jail will only harden her. I have in the past and I even would be willing to go in front of the judge, if Lindsay asked me to, and ask that she be placed in my care to begin a year long residential treatment, at the minimum. The judge ordered Lindsay to 90 days of treatment, and that just won’t be enough for her sadly.

As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Lindsay took the powerful prescription drug Dilaudid for at least two weeks after she had her wisdom teeth removed, according to her probation report, which was released last week.

Dr. Drew added, “Lindsay shouldn’t have been prescribed Dilaudid, except with great caution and the participation of an addiction team. She is an addict with unstable active disease, and Dilaudid can only make that much worse.”

Pinsky goes on to say that Lindsay needs to be treated by a team of doctors, and not just one, because a united front is very important in treating an addict.

“I always treat patients with a team in place. I never treat addicts alone. As a doctor, you can’t get sucked into that person’s disease, and the disease is so very powerful. Lindsay needs to have a team of doctor’s treating her. It’s also why we send families to Al-Anon, so the family can stand with others so that the addict knows all on the same page.”

One of the other drugs that Lindsay tested positive for was Adderall, which Dr. Drew says is a pschyo-stimulant. “I have had lots of experience with Adderall. There seems to be problematic issues related to Adderall, addicts seem to do OK on Adderall short-term, but as time goes on, the drug becomes an issue. I think what we saw in court last week with Lindsay was related to issues she could be having with Adderall.”

Dr. Drew said all hope was not lost with LiLo, adding, “I have always said someday, she will make an amazing sober person. I have only wanted the best for her, and my only intention is to help and not harm her.”

[From Radar]

Yeah, I still want to see Lindsay go to jail. Sorry, Dr. Drew! But – as much as I agree with Dr. Drew’s general diagnosis of Lindsay, I can’t help but think he’s full of sh-t. It’s all fun and games for all of us to sit around and make fun of Lindsay for being a cracked-out a–hole, but it’s quite another for an actual mental health professional to pontificate on treating someone he has never met. You can tell Dr. Drew doesn’t really “get” the Lohans either – otherwise he wouldn’t even start talking about the whole family going to Al-Anon.

And beyond all that, who really thinks jail and rehab is going to cure Lindsay of being an entitled little a–hole? That’s the root of her problem, in my armchair diagnosis. Until she works that sh-t out of her cracked-out personality, she’s rather hopeless.

I think Dr Drew is trying to get on Lindsay’s good side so she’ll come to him/be treated by him. What a ego-booster that would be for him. The most famous crackhead in the world being treated by him!

  2. Praise St. Angie! says:

“You can tell he’s never met the Lohans either – otherwise he wouldn’t even start talking about the whole family going to Al-Anon.”

lol…yeah, like her enabling family, that she financially supports, would EVER “stand up” to her?

I’ll agree with him on the year long rehab stint, but she still needs to go to jail to learn there are consequences for breaking the law. otherwise, she’ll still be that entitled little a-hole.

  3. meme says:

Another brilliant performance by La Crackhan.

  4. Hautie says:

When is this film being released? Can we hope for more of her cracked out shenanigans on the red carpet for it?

What cracks me up, is all of the images from Lindsay’s day in court.

The girl was wired and could not sit still. She kept giving these incredible faces like she was being mistreated.

Geez, I would be tired of her too if I was the lawyer on her case. The girl refuses to listen to anyone but those little voices in her head.

  5. tiki says:

man, if i had a nickel for everytime i caught one of the nuns back at sacred heart grade school licking a gun, i’d be…well, i’d still be broke. nice try, rodriguez and lohan. not edgy and clever. stupid.

  6. K says:

I intially read it as “fame addiction specialist”.

  7. Tia C says:

Could not agree more with your take on this, Kaiser! I also agree with Dr. Drew, that she needs WAY more than 90 days of rehab. But I also still want to see her go to jail. The short sentence that she received is not going to do much, but anything to humble her Eloise attitude at this point would be a good idea! Another pampered rehab isn’t going to do much without injecting some humility into the situation. Jail, then long term rehab seems like the good one-two punch for this chick.

  8. Mrs Odie 2 says:

I don’t know why people hate on Dr. Pinsky. What’s unethical about talking about someone who is NOT your patient? There’s no confidentiality rule. And he isn’t speculating. He’s commenting on what is in her probation report regarding the drugs she takes. And he’s an expert and a celebrity. He’s just fulfilling his role.

I love him. He treated my sister and she worships him. He helped her get a new life.

  9. bellaluna says:

Okay, so jail may not help. But it certainly couldn’t hurt! And she totally needs to be in a lock-down rehab-facility for at least a year.

EDIT: When I saw this pic on D-Listed, I thought it said “Lindsay Lohan is a Disaster” above the picture. Well, DUH!

  10. sapphire says:

Great job, Kaiser, there’s a difference between what I understand is called “chemical dependency disease” and just plain being a jerk.
@K6-I thought that was hilarious! Do you think there’s a cure?

  11. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

    UGH!

  12. Wif says:

Miss Odie 2, I’m so glad to hear that your sister was helped. I tend to be skeptical about recovery, but that’s wonderful to hear.

  13. buckley says:

    Can’t stand Dr.Drew.
In other news, Aderrall is one nasty nasty drug.

  14. Ruby Red Lips says:

I dont think Lindsay would be able to deal with herself and all the things she has done in her life whilst sober so I think inevitably the addict will always win even if she spent a prolonged period in rehab

Its actually really sad, if only all the enablers around her would realise they are helping to slowly end her life

  15. Lindsay says:

When and why did jail become not the place for her?

He wanted her to be framed to go to jail recently. Which would only strengthen the “nothing is every my fault, people are out to get me” attitude. and even if it were true (which it would be in this case) no one would believe her also contributing to the “everybody else who doesn’t agree with me is mean” attitude and probably make her more paranoid.

  16. andrea says:

i mean, he’s right – the stuff he says is pretty much Captain Obvious – but the guy is kind of a famewhore himself – he loses a ton of credibility with “if she let ME treat her” and having some dumb reality show of his own, etc.

and i dont think a whopping 90 days in jail is going to “harden” someone like a real jail sentence would.

  17. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

    @tiki:
You are 100% right. I’ve never attended a Catholic school and I was thinking the same thing–who wasn’t? Way to re-hash the one trope that’s possibly older than ‘The Profession’. Judge Jeffries was right, people do get twitchy with those last gasps.

  18. Iris says:

Holy pointy lizard tongue! That poster is what nightmares are made of.

  19. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

    Jeffrys, rather. Sorry.

  20. Camille says:

I agree with Dr Drew *shock horror*. But its not going to happen and she should do some time in jail.

I’m looking forward to seeing Machete, don’t care that LiLo is in it though, doesn’t bother me.

  21. Oi says:

I know an actual nun that would do that. she was a great shot.

  22. Eileen Yover says:

Wow look at her…that’s some mega-talent she has licking a gun! Good for her!

  23. Chris says:

Meh. There’s nothing risque about mocking religion these days, unless you live in Iran.

  24. Kim says:

He is absolutely right. If she goes to jail BUT is still allowed to take all her prescribed drugs she will remain an addict and the judge is doing nothing productive. Being forced into rehab for 90 days with no Dilaudid would do her WAY more good than 90 days in jail w her meds.

  25. CB Rawks says:

    “Jail will only harden her.”

    AAhahahahhaahaa
Yeah because she’s such a delicate flower at present.

  26. Ruffian9 says:

“I intially read it as “fame addiction specialist”

dingdingdingding – we have a winner!

  27. Codzilla says:

Yeah, I saw the trailer this weekend and didn’t realize she was involved until my husband spotted her name in the credits. She would have been anticlimactic in the actual trailer anyway given that actors with far more talent and credibility are involved.

  28. Ron says:

Dr Drew treated a family member of mine as well at his Las Encinas facility. He is a nice man but he is far more interested in his television career than actually treating patients and he should just admit it, like Dr Phil, who is his role model. We started calling him Dr TV because when we would try to see him regarding our family member, we were told “oh he’s not available right now he’s shooting.” just the response you want from the Doctor.

  29. mai tai says:

    Lindsay is a punk.

  30. Crash2GO2 says:

I think Dr. Drew makes a lot of sense here.

  31. Djen says:

I think he’s kind of missing the point. People don’t go to jail for their own benefit. It’s not supposed to be good for them, or make their lives better. They go to jail because they have broken the rules of our society.

If his argument is that jail isn’t going to be good for Lindsay, he’s probably right. But that’s not why she was sentenced to go there! She was sentenced to jail because of her dangerous and illegal behavior. And, she was given MANY MANY chances to avoid jail, and she blew them all.

The judge’s job is not to make the best decision for Lindsay, she has to make the best decision for society first.

  32. Julia says:

While I can understand people criticizing some of the statements he has made about people he does not treat, I must also say that it would be unethical for him to comment on people he WAS treating; in fact, I would argue that perhaps that would be MORE unethical (and illegal) than to hypothesize about circumstances suggested by the plights of those in the public eye.

I give him a pass on an awful lot by being as pro-sex as he has been (though he is incredibly backwoods regarding many homosexual practices and fetishes–see Savage Love on theonion.com for more). That being said, I cannot see the kind of jail she’d see “hardening” her—if anything, she’ll spend a day waiting in “pre-pre-pre-jail”. 🙂 Nothing “hard” about waiting for your cell phone.

  33. lucy2 says:

Djen, I completely agree with your post.

As usual, Drew is probably right, but has no business, as a medical professional, publicly diagnosing and recommending treatment for someone who is not his patient.

  34. Tia C says:

@ Djen: You are 100% right.

I wish she had gotten more than 90 days, I think she deserved it. She risked peoples’ lives, and she seems to feel that’s just fine.

  35. mollination says:

That pic of lindsay on the bottom of the post is really funny.

I wish Dr. Drew hadn’t sold out, but the truth is he is absolutely correct and extremely qualified/astute. At least he’s not some pretend dr. ala “dr.”phil. That guy is nuts.
