  1. Angelika says:

I heard that dying your hair while being pregnant isn’t healthy for your baby, is that true?

  2. celebitchy says:

    Hi Angelika,
It used to be true because the chemicals in the old dyes were worse than they are now, but it is said to be fine now. It is probably not 100% safe, but doctors don’t recommend against it and say that it’s ok to dye your hair when you’re pregnant. I dyed my hair when I was pregnant, I have to admit. I ate really well, did not drink coffee or a sip of alcohol, but I kept dyeing my hair.

I see, thanks for replying =) I just once heard that it can be a bit dangerous, so I thought “Hell no, another mistake by Britney”, but I’m glad it’s fine =)

  4. celebitchy says:

A lot of women choose not to dye their hair while pregnant because it does have harsh chemicals that could affect the fetus, but it’s generally considered safe. It’s probably much worse to be around second hand smoke.
