Aw, everyone is pregnant! I saw this morning that Ali Larter is knocked up (by her husband), and now People Magazine is confirming that Christina Applegate is with child too! I had to stop for a second and read it though, because I didn’t remember Christina getting engaged to this guy, but People calls the baby-daddy her “fiancée” so I guess so. Shotgun weddings, for everybody!
Christina Applegate could soon be married with a child.
The actress and her fiancé Martyn Lenoble are expecting their first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41, dated for two years before becoming engaged on Valentine’s Day. No date has been set for the wedding.
The Samantha Who? actress says her fiancé, a Dutch bass player, helped her recover after undergoing a double mastectomy.
“I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this,” Applegate told PEOPLE last year. “He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”

Congratulations to them! People also confirmed Ali’s pregnancy through her rep, and the rep says Ali is due in the winter. So do you think Ali and Christina are probably about three months along each? Let me do the math… so they got pregnant around the end of April? Are they both due in January, I wonder? Eh, we’ll know soon enough. Congratulations to both couples – it will both Ali and Christina’s first babies.
So happy for Christina ! This will be an exciting new chapter in her life .

Congrats to both! I really like Christina. Not to be bitchy, but I didn’t realize she was only 38, I thought she was older because, well, she kinda looks it. But that just makes me like her more, for not doing artificial things to make herself look younger. She’s a beautiful woman just the way she is. I wish her all the happiness!

Breast cancer treatments tend to age you. I am confused. Wasn’t Christina Applegate married to Jonathan somebody? Schaek or something like that? When did they divorce? I don’t follow her because she’s never been in anything I care about except “Anchorman” and she was horrible in it.

Christina Applegate proved what a strong and admirable woman she is with all that she has been through in the last couple of years. Her Oprah show appearance following the mastectomy was so sincere and classy. She is just a few years older than me, and I always identified with her childhood because I, too, was raised by crazy hippies 🙂 I am really happy that her life is going well. I do kind of think her fiancee should be featured on “Men Who Look Like Old Lesbians”, though 🙂 There’s something off about his face.

moi: Good grief, obviously. They do have very good formula milk these days. Not everyone can BF, for a variety of reasons I should add.

Wow, Ali sure didn’t waste any time after getting married (then again she and Hayes have been together forever, so, good for them)! And Christina? Well, what can we say? How wonderful that even after her treatments that she was able to concieve : ) It put a huge smile on my face when I heard about her news : ) Good for both girls, I’m sure the kids will be adorable!
Of course Ali didn’t waste any time. She’s in her late 30s. She got lucky, but conception can take years. I was the same. Got married @ 35 and waited a year, assumed we’d try for at least 6 months. Nope. Pregnant on the first try. I got tired of people asking, “Didn’t you guys JUST get married?”
