Thanks to Millie for pointing out the other two pictures leaked from Angelina Jolie’s baby shower. [via] People are saying that it’s crappy of one of their friends to shop the pictures around, but that it’s likely that they’re stolen. One commentor on DListed notes that there’s a rumor that one of Brad’s bodyguards is behind it.
The photo of Angelina and Zahara on the beach is lovely, and it’s nice to see Brad and Angelina laughing and looking like they’re having a good time.
We’ll have to wait and see where these photos turn up and who gets threatened with a lawsuit. It’s sure to be big news come Monday.

you’re reading too much into things–it’s just a balloon (maybe they were playing pop a balloon game?) and the pix were not for public viewing, so why “womb blitz.” Hatred is so blinding.

I have never hated anybody in my life. this is a gossip blog, just for fun remember. just because I choose not to join the universal chorus of approval whirring around Angelina and Brad does not mean that I hate them. Hatred is Angolan children getting their limbs blown off , or the insurgence in Iraq or the number of girl babies in China who are the victims of infanticide, in fact all the things Saint Angelina is trying to fight. It’s the way she manipulates her public image that gets my goat, not her attempts to make a difference. I think the white balloon is supposed to represent an ovum, that’s the joke the and why they are laughing at it. I don’t think I’m blind but none of us ever do.
xiao has a blunt writing style, and I don’t think she meant it the way you’re interpreting. This *is* just a gossip blog, and sometimes I feel guilty about that. I’m an information junkie and now that I’m paying so much attention to the minutae of celebrities I don’t think so much about Guantanamo, the illegal war in Iraq, and genocide in the Sudan. It’s painful and upsetting to realize how much injustice and death is happening in the world, and Angelina should be commended for using her celebrity to bring awareness to important causes.
You are both bringing up important issues, because when can a celebrity catch a break? I think they should support the causes they’re interested in without bringing a crapload of attention to themselves. I like how Susan Sarandon does it, but she’s older and not insanely popular like Angelina. Maybe Angelina can’t help the attention she’s getting and is just trying to make the best of it. I’m not a huge Angelina fan, but I don’t dislike her too much. There’s something off about her, though.
I do have a better opinion of Angelina after watching the Anderson Cooper interview. She is articulate and well spoken, but still don’t think she’s completely sane.
I don’t think Angelina is completely sane either but I can’t stand how people attack just about ANYTHING that she does as if every single gesture was calculated to create a certain image. Those photos were not meant for publication so why such an aggressively negative comment? She’s so polarizing that you can’t say anything positive w/o being accused of being a worshipper. Sheesh
Celebitchy, you are a great moderator you always inject some soothing calm and bring all the points together, and yes I do have a blunt writing style. The Celebrity/Humanitarian phenomenom is a growing one and if you ever star a blog on it I’ll be over there like a shot.
