Lindsay Lohan reportedly set to host Saturday Night Live in December

If I remember correctly (because I don’t care enough to look it up), I believe Lindsay Lohan’s current drug-testing, peeing-in-a-cup, no-going-out-partying probation/parole is going to be over in November, but only if she behaves herself and continues to test clean. Is she doesn’t test clean, perhaps it’s back in the slammer for her, and this time the taunts of “Firecrotch” will have new meaning, because she actually dyed her weave back to red. So, if Lindsay plays her cards right, at some point in the month of November, she’ll be a free and clear crackhead, minus some pending litigation that will likely be dealt with in civil court. By December, she should be back on her international crackhead journey, stopping by New York City, London, Paris, and… you know, wherever she can get the good sh-t.

So Lindsay has already begun to make plans for her triumphant return. Following the “success” of her cameo at the VMAs opening bit with Chelsea Handler (in which Lindsay’s “acting” and “jokes” were a particular nasty kind of hellish crack trauma), Lindsay has reportedly been in talks to host Saturday Night Live in New York City come December. Oh, God. I hope she’s irrelevant by then.

Lindsay Lohan’s career rehab train may have a stop at NBC’s famed “Saturday Night Live.” Lohan is in conversations to host “SNL” on Dec. 4, according to a source familiar with the deal.

The NBC late-nighter would give Lohan 90 minutes to prove to those who may still care about her career that she is employable after a string of run-ins with the law and rehab stints.

She’s currently on a strict post-jail program in California that requires four psychotherapy sessions, two addiction counseling sessions and five 12-step meetings every week plus random drug testing twice a week. Providing she doesn’t mess up before hand, those rules will be lifted on Nov. 1.

Word of the “SNL” possibility comes just a day after Lohan turned up in a well-recieved taped bit on MTV’s “Video Music Awards,” in which she poked fun at her own life. In the skit, she questioned whether “VMA” host Chelsea Handler had been drinking before the show.

“You think anyone would work with a drunk?” Lohan said, pushing Handler against the wall.

She’s also being chased by the morning news shows, all eager to land the first post-probation interview.

If “SNL” happens, it won’t be Lohan’s first trip to the long-running series. She hosted the May 1, 2004 edition of the program and was back again on April 16, 2006.

In 2006, she poked fun at the tabloid stories revolving around her allegedly bad behavior when, during the monologue, Keenan Thompson walked on stage playing a drunk guy in rabbit costume. She then joked about how he was a role model for children and he should not be drunk on TV.

Given her willingness to be the brunt of a joke on Sunday’s “VMA’s,” it’s likely “SNL” will feed on her recent courtroom and jail shenanigans.

“We never comment on upcoming hosts until they’re announced,” said an “SNL” spokeswoman.

Fresh episodes of “SNL” begin airing Sept. 25 – the show’s 36th season – with Amy Poehler as host and Katy Perry as the musical guest.

I only laugh about Lindsay Lohan when the joke is on her, you know? I laughed and laughed when I watched the live feed of Lindsay being sentenced to jail by Judge Marsha Revel, and Lindsay, forever the cracked-out drama queen, had a major hissy fit, sobbing and screeching for the cameras. That was hilarious. Hearing Lindsay make a “joke” about how she’s a f-cking disaster? It just seems sad.

  3. Super Sleuth says:

Why her behavior continues to be glamourized is beyond me.

  4. Sassy says:

I won’t watch. This twit can continue to fuck up and she’s always rewarded for it. Disgusting.

  5. Ruby Red Lips says:

Super Sleuth, I am wondering the same thing

  6. Anonandonandon says:

What happened within the last 10 years where once you become rich and famous you get to stay rich and famous no matter what you do? It seems the bigger the sociopath the bigger the paycheck. People are now paid big money for being worthless and obnoxious.

  7. lucy2 says:

Considering she joked about her bad behavior FOUR YEARS AGO on SNL and then went downhill even further shows how pathetic she really is.

  8. Stephie says:

One more reason not to watch it. Ugh.

  9. dingle says:

    ugh rewarding bad behaviour……

    i’ve had it!

    plus she has no talent.

  10. jm says:

That VMA skit was painfully unfunny.

  11. Innocent says:

48 days to go then her probation is DONE.
She has been on this supervised probation for 3 weeks and so far violated none of the conditions.
Hosting SNL will be a great way to finish the year considering she was forced to wear a SCRAM,her reaction to the sentencing was seen worldwide and she was in jail and court ordered rehab.

  12. Marie says:

Well hell the Lohan scoop of the day doesn’t include her overdosing. I guess I am going to have to get out the VooDoo doll.

  13. Nicky says:

That VMA sketch was just over a minute long, Lindsay only appeared halfway through and it was pre-recorded, yet she still made a pig’s ear of it. SNL is 90 minutes long and live so if this goes ahead, you know it’s going to be an unholy mess.

  14. Tia C says:

I used to buy into all the hype that she was a talented actress. But in recent years I’ve rewatched all her films at various times and have come to the conclusion that she is no more talented than your average high school drama student. Which is to say, not very much.

So in that sense she’ll fit right in at SNL!

  15. Jover says:

Agree with everyone yes Tia she can’t act, sing, dance, do impersonations – she’s just perfect for yet another once important now declining pop icon. After just completing one of their worst ever seasons, SNL and clueless Lorne Michaels scrapes the bottom of the barrel with LiHo. SNL may as well give it up and let Icarly and the kids from Nick at Nite host the entire season to complete the infantilization of SNL. Sad what SNL has come to that this is all the better they can do.

  16. original kate says:

SNL is still on the air?!

  17. Hmmm says:

Looking at the LAX pix- well isn’t she special? What makes her special is the phone glued to her ear. In the mist of a scrum, she’s on the phone? It’s probably something like, “Yeah, you wouldn’t believe the crowd out here, just for me me me me me me.” Plus, you’re nothing without your phone.

  18. california angel says:

What has this chick even done to be deemed a celebrity lately? Besides do a bunch of trashy photo shoots and look too cool for everyone….

  19. Tia C says:

Jover – LiHo! LOL! For some odd reason I hadn’t heard that one yet. Yes, it is truly sad what has become of SNL. Used to love it, but I haven’t watched it in years.

I notice that not as many folks are commenting on the Lindsay posts these days. But I’m glad you’re still posting them, Kaiser, because they’re always fun to comment on! So much fodder, so little time… 😉

  20. justathought says:

Oh for crying out loud…I’ll make sure my DVR is unplugged and I have a date that night.

  21. CB Rawks says:

She doesn’t even do good comedy, she just surrounds herself with funny talented people in her movies. Lucky the cast of SNL will be there to carry her.

  22. correct says:

So.. you have to be a wh0re and a crack head to be famous?! Hm… I’ll rethink my life.

  23. wunderkindt says:

She should be on SNL because she IS a joke.

  24. vanmom4 says:

Third pic down she resembles Lara Flynn Boyle in recent years.

  25. Lenders Only says:

I like the way you see problems
