Nick Hogan doesn’t like jail

Who would have thought it? Turns out, Nick Hogan doesn’t like jail. Which is odd, because most people are really big fans. What with the friendly service and great food and all, you’d be batshit crazy not to enjoy your free vacation.

Nick Hogan is not doing well in jail, friends say. The son of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan started serving eight months in California’s [sic – it’s Florida] Pinellas County Jail on May 9 for a drunken-driving accident that left his best friend, John Graziano, in a coma.

“Nick’s doing really bad. He’s struggling to even form a sentence,” one friend said. “They have him in a cell by himself, isolated from the general population, because of threats. He didn’t understand how awful jail really is until now.” That will be small consolation to Graziano’s relatives, who say Hogan has done very little for their son since the crash.

[From the New York Post]

Nick is also in isolation because he is the only minor in the jail. Though if he serves just two and a half months of his eight month sentence, Nick will have the pleasure of becoming a full-fledged adult in jail. I wonder what kind of birthday cake they get you when you turn 18 in jail. I’m sure it’s nothing fancy – probably one of those grocery store bought cakes at best. But still, something to look forward to Nick. Wait, they don’t get you a cake? Madness. I’d hate jail too. Poor Nick.

I’m guessing Nick’s lawyer is going to ask that he be transferred to some type of mental health facility – or pull a Paris Hilton and try to get him released altogether because jail makes you kind of unstable. Man, if only Nick had known jail sucks so much. You’d think that might have been a deterrent or something.

oh poor nick. he should be in jail for every month that poor guy is in a coma in my opinion. 👿

  2. jessica says:

i dont think they gave him enough time.

  3. KDRockstar says:

Aw, he can’t form a sentence? His comatose friend can’t even nod yes.

    Spoiled, whiny shite.

  4. Anna says:

Aww, poor booboo…he’s in isolation? He can’t speak? The friend he crippled is locked in his body, comatose and will never speak another sentence again.

I hope he has to serve the full sentence. Every little bit of pain he is experiencing in there is fully deserved, to say the least.

Welcome to the real world, jackass.

  5. Syko says:

Poor little poopsie! Did he actually expect to like it? He’d like it even less if he was out there in the general population. Bubba just LOVES scrawny little blonde haired mama’s boys!

  6. CJ says:

    Welcome to the real world!

  7. Bodhi says:

My soon to be BIL spent his 20th birthday in the clink. He was only in for 10 days & he didn’t much like it either.

Thats why they call it jail & not happy-funny-comunal-shower-fun

  8. Elizabeth says:

Leave him there and throw the key away.

  9. aaaaaaaaa says:

I honestly don’t see why all the people commenting are being so hard on him. He’s a young kid and he made a huge mistake. I know teenagers can be pretty irresponsible, but one thing they do care about is their friends. I’m sure NO ONE is as aware of what he did to John Graziano moreso than Nick himself. Can you imagine waking up at 17 years old and finding out you almost killed your best friend??

That being said, I do feel like he’s got to pay the piper and fulfill his sentence. I don’t believe in anyone “pulling a Paris Hilton” and getting out by claiming mental instability. That’s a bunch of crap.

  10. dan says:

i think that knowing you basically killed someone and ruined their life would be enough of a punishment in itself. Who could live with that kinda guilt. Be prepared to see statements soon that says he’s on a suicide watch…..

  11. anon69 says:

His attitude after the accident is one of the reasons people are being so hard on him. Yes he’s 17-he also walks around with an incredible sense of entitlement. This is the kid who after the accident (that he is responsible for) that put his best friend in a vegetative state-went on his web site and talked about his racing and getting sponsorship. You think maybe that maybe he would take some time off from racing or at least not get quite so jazzed about announcing his plans for his racing season.
Now it turns out that Nick isn’t quite as bad ass as he thought he was.

  12. Simon Scowl says:

“I wonder what kind of birthday cake they get you when you turn 18 in jail.”

I don’t know, but he’s sure to get plenty of frosting.

  13. hello says:

exactly, anon69…it’s his seeming complete lack of remorse that makes most people mad. If you look through the pics from when he was at court he’s even talking with his attorney with a smile on his face. I’m sorry, but I’ve been to court before for a traffic violation (smart!) and I wasn’t smiling during ANY of that, and in the grand scheme of things, that’s nothing. Maybe I’m a bit jaded, but all the pics looked like everyone else was more concerned than he was. Why? He thought “im famous. i wont get in trouble.”

  14. DogRunner says:

I would rather be in jail than in a semi-comatose state the rest of my life.

He should be counting his blessings that he walked away from that accident instead of ending up like his friend.

  15. Scott F. says:

If he’s really that depressed, why doesn’t he just reminisce fondly about that ONE time he went to see the kid who’s life he ruined. If I remember right, he had a lot of fun skateboarding around the hospital wing that day.

John Graziano might have been his friend, but he was my brother. He was a Marine, who served his country with distinction and bravery. It kills me to think that a guy who was serving over there at the same time as me made it home safe just to have his life taken away because some piece of shit trust fund baby wasn’t man enough to control a high performance vehicle properly.

A lot of you have a good point: he is just a kid, and kids make mistakes. I can excuse, and even forgive, a lapse in judgment. What I can’t forgive though, is the complete and utter lack of remorse this little twerp has shown.

It’s obvious to anyone he either doesn’t really understand the gravity of what he’s done, or simply doesn’t give a shit. Hopefully 7 more months in solitary will give him the perspective to recognize it, but I’m not holding my breath.

  16. Angel says:

I know that 17-yr olds make mistakes; that being said, I believe also that they should pay for those mistakes–that’s how people learn.

I feel absolutely NO sympathy for this immature, selfish little jerk because of his attitude towards the poor Graziano family, because they will have to live with the consequences long after Nick gets out of jail (hopefully he’ll be walking funny for the rest of his life).

If justice had prevailed, John Graziano, a soldier who had just returned from defending his country and all of us, would have walked away from the crash and Nick Hogan would be in the coma.

    Am I too harsh? NOT.

  17. cramiga says:

He’s lucky he got the short of time. I’m sure his friend would trade places with him. Even if that poor guys comes out of a coma, there’s no telling what disabilities he will have. Nick should have to care for his friend, so he can see exactly what he’s done. I think a few months of bathing his friend, changing his bedding, cleaning him after accidents would give him a whole new perscpective as to what he’s done.

  18. Ron says:

Didn’t South Park say it best about this generation of useless brats….STUPID SPOILED WHORE!
It’s tough when you have to be held responsible for the permanent maiming of someone. WAAAAAAAAAAAH
Does Dr. Phil need to give somebody a hug?

  19. ADD says:

“I wonder what kind of birthday cake they get you when you turn 18 in jail. ”

Chocolate cherry cake, and his cellmate Bubba gets the first piece.
I, too, hope he serves every second of his eight months and maybe gets caught with contraband so they add penalty time to it. This entitled pig couldn’t form a sentence before, how can they discern the difference now?

  20. Blondie says:

Regardless if you think poor little 17 year old, made a mistake….wtf?! He nearly killed somebody – if the other guy even recovers, he is looking at a life sentence…what sort of imbecilic justice system would it be if everytime somebody killed, raped or murdered someone, they got let off, because they justified it with…’how could they live with the guilt’ or they ‘made a mistake’ Glad I don’t live in that world!
    Scary!

  21. Emma says:

Suck it up asshole. You deserve every day of your sentence. If it was up to me you would have got years not months.

  22. Because I say So says:

Was his friend not wearing a seat-belt? Isn’t that why he was thrown through the windshield and Nick was unscathed? Everyone is talking about personal responsibility– well– what about being responsible for your own safety? I think it’s a terrible tragedy and no one deserved to end up in a vegetative state, simply that Nick is an irresponsible, spoiled ass of a kid and that his friend should probably have made a better choice.

  23. daisyfly says:

    Boo-Fricking-Hoo, whineyboy.

The 8 months served in jail will pale in comparison to the prison he’s sentenced his friend and his family to for the rest of their lives.

While Nick will eventually get out and form that poor sentence he can’t seem to muster right now, John never will.

While POOR Nick will eventually walk out and taste the air of freedom, the only thing John will taste is the acrid inside of his mouth, if he even has any sort of sensation in his mouth to begin with.

While POOR POOR SUFFERING NICK will one day marry and have children he will hold and raise with his wife, John will never be able to marry, have and hold his own children, or enjoy them.

Rather than feel sorry for himself, he should be reflecting on all that he has gained, all that he could have lost due to what happened.

  24. Tania says:

Awe quit whining, ya spoiled fucking little bratt! I’m sure your “friend” who’s in a coma now doesn’t much care for the fact that his forehead is caved in and that he’s probably never going to come out of his coma or have a quality life. You never hear Nick say he’s sorry about what happened to his friend, or that he’s praying for him, etc. All Nick care about is Nick! He must have had a great upbringing!

  25. Tania says:

Oh yeah, and I hope some REAL thugs kick his little white ass all over the place in jail! Although I’m sure Mommy and Daddy have paid to ensure that lil Nick gets better food while locked up, and that he wont get beat up! Pansy!

  26. Nikki says:

I think it sux what happened to his friend and all, but at the same time it’s not Nicks fault his friend didn’t know how to buckle a seatbelt. Honestly, who can say that they’ve never drove without a seatbelt for even a block. You people are stupid and have so much shit to talk about someone you don’t even know. 👿

  27. Hi says:

I’m not sticking up for nick or anything but nicks best freind was not wearing a seat belt nick was…

  28. dain says:

can’t you people see how hard this is on Nick. No playing cards or a window. He needs something! Ooh! I know how about they give him the piece of the frontal lobe they removed from his friends brain. He can “study” or play with that. Poor Nick, poor poor Nick. Nick = Fecal Matter

  29. dain says:

Oh and for you jack @$$es BLAIMING the victim for not wearing his seat belt. Saying it wasn’t nicks responsibility, umm that’s not what the traffic laws state. I’m pretty sure the driver gets the ticket for the passenger not wearing the seat belt. They don’t want to wear it…YOU DONT DRIVE THEM! 😡

  30. surge1114 says:

hey nick iwnt to priso for 2 yrs. yes its a very scary place to be. looking over ur shoulder every few seconds, wstch ur back. cause no ones there to watch it for u. i paid for my crime now pay for urs 😀

  31. FunkMaster says:

i dont understand why u all hating on nick. i dont think he made John Graziano get into the car. that was his choose!!!!!

  32. kman says:

I heard on the radio that Hulk and Nick want to do a reality show based on Nick getting out of jail and coming back. How is that for sick. He doesn’t give a crap about his friend, so why should we care about Nick ???

  33. jeff says:

i think they both knew the risk and what they was about to do. we done stupid things in our lives like this and ended up similar ways or was damn lucky. Im sure you guys never speed or passed going around a curve, up a hill or do donuts. Its easy to sit back and judge others. Im sure he wished that he could go back in time and change it all. i bet he wanted to go see his friend but his attorney advise him not to, be my guess. Really, nick hogan is just another person with his own problems in his own life. why do you people make a big deal about someone that you never met. all these so called famous people they are just ordinary people. just because we see them on tv you think theyre different in some way. i dont get it.

  34. Nikki says:

1st of I agree with most of the statements made on here. Nick should be punished for what he did, reckless driving. He is 17 and should not have been tried as an adult. Kids make mistakes, and they will continue to make mistakes. BUT one thing that everyone has failed to mention is that John was not wearing his seatbelt! Yes it is very sad that John is now in a vegitative state for the rest of his life, but at who’s fault? His own. I’m sure he was a willing participant of the driving, Nick just didnt kidnap him and force him to sit there. I guess everyone is trying to tip toe around the truth because he is a veteran and fought for our country. God bless the troops and I am thankful for them going over there to fight, but that doesnt give an excuse to praise him when in fact, had he followed the law and BUCKLED UP, he would most like not be in the same condition that he is in now. Im not a cold hearted person, I’m just blunt and truthful.

  35. mason says:

he is a spoiled teen yes but at least he is suffering a bit for what he has done wrong which is speeding and drinking ! but , as for his friend he was the adult , i mean hell why didnt john get him to slow down if words wouldnt work then im sure a nice punch in the mouth would have worked ! so the way im seeing it is both the driver is at fault and the ” adult ” passenger , so leave nick alone !! and also , even if his family has money at least he is locked up for what he did and they didnt do an oj ! and pay everyone off . im sure his dad has been the one that said for nick to take the responsibilty for what happend instead of bailing him out with that said good luck nick !! and say how high do i jump sir or maam when they tell you to jump ! it will be alot easier to get it over with bud ! trust me this i know !!

  36. jeff says:

😈 hey nick they dont have SOAP ON A ROPE DONT DROP IT 😈
