Carey Mulligan gave what seems like a confirmation that she and Shia LaBeouf are over, and that she’s moving back to England after they called the whole thing off. Sources are now rushing to confirm that yes, the couple has split. The two had met during the filming of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, where Carey played Michael Douglas’s daughter and Shia played Carey’s lover. That was last year – and they just finished promoting the damn movie a few weeks ago. So my guess is that they’ve probably been broken up for a little while, but just stayed together to promote the film, even though it’s not like they spoke about each other or posed for photos together. Mandrake hears that the 25-year-old actress is returning to Britain after cooling her relationship with Shia LaBeouf, 24, who played her boyfriend in the film.

“I’m moving back to England: it’s a long story,” she told friends at the premiere of her latest film, Never Let Me Go, in the West End of London.
