Yesterday, Heidi Klum was in Germany to promote Astor, which I believe is a makeup line…? German…? Sure. For the event, Heidi went for this teal Rachel Roy dress that I find fascinating. At first I thought it was a Victoria Beckham, because that’s my guess these days whenever I see a dress that looks vaguely familiar, like Vicky copied from another designer, just making minor tweaks. But, as I said, it’s Rachel Roy. At first I thought the shoulder detail was hideous, making Heidi look like she had shoulder gills. But in another angle, the shoulders look different and better. One thing I will say – this color is great, and I like the idea of this kind of dress on Heidi much more than her Golden Globes disaster.

In other Klum news, she’s partnering with AOL on “original new segments on relationships, love, fashion, beauty, parenting, arts and crafts”. Heidi says of the new partnership: “During my 15 years in the business, I’ve received so many questions on a variety of topics from my favorite toothbrush to juggling family and a busy work schedule. I’m bringing in the experts that have helped me over the years to help inspire you. Women are looking for content that speaks to every part of their lives. Right now, advice seems so scattered online. I have created a place on AOL that’s really one-stop-shopping: for women as moms, wives, workers, friends and their most creative selves.” How very Goopy of her! Or will it be the anti-Goop? I can see Heidi bringing some realism into the online world, as opposed to Gwyneth’s aspirational musings for peasants.
