Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the new Megan Fox. Only better, somehow. Less idiotic. Less plastic. She was cast as “the girl” in the third Transformers film, and she spent most of the shoot hanging out with Shia LaBeouf, flirting her ass off and generally being cute. There were even rumors about Shia and Rosie hittin’ it during production, although Rosie has been with Jason Statham for years, and they still seem very much together. Anyway, Rosie is a Victoria’s Secret model and one of Britain’s top models, but this is the first time she’s ever scored the cover of Vogue UK. Probably because Vogue UK (and Vogue America) seems to only put actresses (and WAGs) on their covers. What do you think of the shoot? I kind of like it. Rosie has more flesh than I was expecting – I thought, somehow, it would end up a repeat of Keira Knightley’s bored, hungry pictorial, but this is actually snazzy and sexy.

looking at these pictures and the linked NSFW picture, it really doesn’t look like she’s had a boob job. she’s young and thin, allowing for perky boobs. they don’t look fake to me at all.

I like it – not one of my favorite models but at least they put a model on the cover – if actresses want attention make/appear in better movies, but do they have to continuously media whore. One has only to go back to the80s/90s when fashion mags had the supers on their covers to see how much better the covers were than ones with blake livelys and leighton meister, etc. Bravo to Rose for at least making the cover that’s a start.
I think she’s naturally gorgeous. Her boobs are real and she’s not too thin at all, she’s got a pretty face and a very toned and sexy body.

Rosie is kind of what I think of when I think of fashion models these days. In photoshoots and heavy makeup, they look stunning. Not in a conventional way, but just very striking – great, exaggerated features and a face that handles make up well. And her body is to die for, fleshy and soft but very much trim and curvy in the right places.
However, she is a lot like most fashion models these days in that when I see her completely unmade-up, she looks borderline average, and in some cases, kind of weird. Her mouth and nose are VERY close together, which works in photos, but when you see candids (her and Jason on the beach recently come to mind), she looks pretty funky looking. She has great features for modeling, but in everyday life she looks like an odd cartoon.
I like the photoshoot though. I don’t always buy that nudity/sensuality = trashy. That’s a pretty simple minded and frankly puritan view of sexuality. She looks amazing, and I love the vibrant, rich colors of the shoot.

I love seeing celebrities when they’re not done up ’cause it shows that they really aren’t that far prettier than me, or anyone else when it comes down to it.
I’d love to see a reality show that has “normal” people get done up by the folks who do up international celebrities, like makeup by Bobbi Brown, dressed by Karl Lagerfeld, hairdressed by Jose Eber, photographied by Annie Liebovitz!
