Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are pissed, and this time it is legitimate The blondest twosome are pretty darn surprised – and genuinely bummed – that John McCain didn’t stick to his presidential campaign promise of making Montag his running mate. Though I think the fact that he ever made that joke in the first place says some pretty clear things about what he was ultimately looking for in a potential VP.

Although Heidi Montag expressed her interest in being John McCain’s presidential running mate, he went for another woman and chose Sarah Palin instead.

Heidi and constant companion Spencer Pratt laughed it up with Extra recently at the NASCAR Pepsi 500 on their reaction to McCain’s choice.

“He picked a girl and it wasn’t Heidi,” Spencer joked. “Not picking Heidi for the vice president, it’s just cold.”

“I can’t believe it,” joked Heidi. “I’m really hurt. Blondes have more fun. I guess he doesn’t know that.

I honestly had no clue that Heidi and Spencer were capable of laughing at themselves. I could never respect them or even tolerate them, but it really does make me hate them less. And really even that is more than they should ask for. We also learned a little about Heidi’s future career aspirations – apparently the whole vice presidency thing isn’t exactly a broken dream

While the dynamic duo won’t be making any trips to the White House soon, at least in an official capacity, they might return to the NASCAR scene in the future, and not just as fans.

“It’s Heidi’s dream to be a cheerleader,” said Spencer. “[She] can be a cheerleader for my race car. I’ll name it Speidi Mobile.”

Meanwhile Heidi got involved in the racing action in another way – she was in charge of waving the green flag, something she admits she’s good at.

“I’m pretty natural at that [waves]. I always wanted to be prom queen.”

I’m genuinely surprised Heidi wasn’t the prom queen. I’m even more surprised that Spencer allowed some other girl to do something Heidi wanted. No not the real prom queen. I’m shocked Spencer let Sarah Palin step in on Heidi like that. At least we know Heidi’s not pregnant. You know, because she’s a virgin and all.
