The first trailer is out for Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming comedy Labor Pains, which is currently in post production and is due for release next year. Lohan plays a disgruntled employee who cooks up a scheme to keep her job by claiming to be pregnant. She’s not pregnant, has to fake it, and hilarity hopefully ensues. The trailer makes it look like a decent comedy. I didn’t laugh or anything, but I also didn’t feel insulted or like I wasted a couple minutes of my time.
Lohan has been blogging a lot on her MySpace. Yesterday she said that Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter took the focus away from her record and positions on the issues. She also recently blogged that she was looking for a specific type of ice cream for her girlfriend, Samantha, and while she didn’t quite call her that she did end the post with “this song [Trouble by Ray LaMontagne] is for sr, ILY” which pretty much means “I love you, Samantha Ronson.” That’s kind of sweet. Damn you, Lindsay Lohan, for making me start to like you again. You’re definitely poised for a comeback. Just continue to avoid all the drama your family tries to drag you down into.

A choice between watching that movie and having my eyelids sewn shut with a red-hot needle and rusty barbed wire, I’d definitely have to flip a coin.

I think..*ducks* I think this movie doesnt look half bad. I think this is the kind of movie she needs to do, not that Who killed Me crap. Hope this helps with her career.
Agree Samantha, this kind of harmless, semi-engaging fluff is the way she needs to be going. If she can pull off a few Kate Hudson/Katherine Heigl type roles she may eventually prove she can mature into something a bit more substantial. Maybe.
Wow. her voice is a little less raspy than it was in the dreaded ‘ I Know Who Killed Me’- she must have cut back to 2 packs a day. Good work!
People who like brainless crappy movies will probably like this turd. It looks terrible.
That looks pretty good, actually. LL isn’t a bad actress.
Looking for a specific ice cream (actually I thought it was a pudding cup she was after) might sound like a ridiculous thing to write about – but to an addict, focusing on food, especially sugary ones, can really help with drug and alcohol cravings.
She looks exactly like Dina in that pic. Sort of really toothy and totally lacking an upper lip.
Not a big Lohan fan, but I looove Cheryl Hines. And was that Janeane Garofalo I saw? I probably woudn’t pay to see this but it didn’t make me cringe, so that says something.

That was awful — the voiceover guy sounded so low rent, you know? Someone above got it right by making the comparison to the Jessica Simpson trailers. Ugh.

Please, she’s an ex-Disney kid who can’t really act. Her last few movies have tanked. It’s pretty bad when you figure her last best role was in Freaky Friday.
