Dina Lohan is hurt by Glee calling her a loser: ‘they are all just a bunch of bullies’

fp_5535135_lohan_dina_fp4_0
Did we just watch Glee jump the shark last night? It was Glee on steroids after the Superbowl with even more over-the-top drama, wooden stereotypical characters, predictable plot lines and freak outs by coach Sylvester. I found the whole thing to stink of trying too hard, but I’ve been souring on Glee lately so maybe I’m not the best one to judge. The musical numbers were fun and it had high production value, it just felt so false to me. I’m over Glee, but EW’s Ken Tucker liked this episode and called it “intentionally over-the-top” as opposed to “desperate.”

After all the brouhaha over Glee mocking Lindsay Lohan during the episode with Goop, and then the cast supposedly apologizing to Lindsay (which probably never happened) they managed to add in another burn to the Lohans this week. In a segment in which Katie Couric was interviewing coach Sue Sylvester for “loser of the year,” Katie mentioned that Sue beat “The economy, Mel Gibson, the housing market, Dina Lohan, Wall St., Tiger Woods, the Dallas Cowboys, Brett Favre’s cell phone, 9% unemployment and Sparky Lohan, who is Dina Lohan’s dog and apparently also a loser” for the title. We get it, you’re mocking Dina Lohan. Glee writers aren’t content to just make a subtle f’ing dig and let it go, like everything else on that show they have to make it large enough to get on our nerves. Dina Lohan is not amused and gave some unsourced comments emphasizing her victimhood to Popeater’s Rob Shuter. Her ex husband pointed and issued a hearty “ha ha!”

“They are all a bunch of bullies,” my source seethes. “Dina is hurt and shocked and hasn’t done anything to deserve this constant teasing from this show.”…

One person who agrees with ‘Glee’s’ sentiments is [SURPRISE!] Lohan’s ex-husband.

“As true as this might be, it is wrong,” Michael Lohan tells me. “Dina deserves a lot worse of a title after all she has done to destroy the relationships with my kids and entire family.”

Michael calls the people Dina surrounds herself with “the epitomes of losers.”

[From Popeater]

And in case you doubt that Dina Lohan isn’t Popeater’s source, writer Rob Shuter defends Dina and writes ” Pick on someone your own size, ‘Glee,’ and you too, Katie!

It looks like Dina will have a lot more to worry about than being called out by Glee. Hopefully her daughter will be led away in handcuffs today. Fingers crossed!

    Nice roots.

  2. devilgirl says:

I was never into Glee until recently, and I personally found last nights episode very good, and I agree, it was meant to be over-the-top.

As far as Dina Lohan goes, she IS a loser. Her daughter is an example of her being a loser, especially in the parent department.

    P.S I adore Sue Sylvester!

  3. the original bellaluna says:

Oh dear God. Does victimisation NEVER grow old with this family? *eyeroll*

If you walk like a loser, and you talk like a loser, and you look like a loser; chances are, you’re a Blohan. At least in this case.

  4. Boey Jellodonna says:

Every time I see Dina’s face I can’t fight the urge to yell, “Al-Vinnnnnn!”.

  5. Riley says:

Glee kind of sucked last night. I can’t believe I stayed up so late to watch it and it was really a let down. It is getting to be very repetitive. I still love Mercedes, though.

  6. mln76 says:

I do think that after that whole feud he had with the rocker dude Ryan Murphy is a bit of a bully. That being said her daughter is about to be charged with yet another crime and the first thing on her mind is an episode of Glee??? What a psycho.

  7. heatheradair says:

so, even my sweater-vest-loving dad who never met a “s’vest” he didn’t like wouldn’t go near that thing she’s wearing. ick!

  8. Riley says:

    @mln76: Good point.

Hey let’s give it up to “Mommy Lohan” who is ranking up there with Mel and Tiger on the Glee. What can we say there are more things in this world to worry about, like say your Crack-Head, Jewel borrowing daughter as well as her:

I quote: “Epitomes of Losers” she surrounds herself with – Source: Michael Lohan

    LOL

  11. STEL says:

ITA with #10. Get a life.

  12. The Hamm is My Dream Man says:

She IS a loser. Like mln76 said, she’s more concerned with some passing snark on Glee than she is about her daughter.

She can victimize herself like no other.

  13. NayNay says:

Has anybody else noticed that Dina has yet to comment on the whole stolen jewely charge? Very strange!

  14. QUEST says:

    @ NayNay:

    She is busy watching Glee…lol

  15. lucy2 says:

“her daughter is about to be charged with yet another crime and the first thing on her mind is an episode of Glee???”
I know! You’d think she’d have bigger things on her mind, assuming she has one.

I skipped the episode, and I think I’m done with the show. I might check out the occasional musical number clip, but overall the show was making me really annoyed, and I’m not seeing any signs of improvement.

  16. YT says:

Dina cannot be hurt, embarrassed, or insulted. Impossible. Her cumulative actions and words are proof.

    I don’t watch Glee.

Dina has not commented on the Lindsay grand theft problem because she is busy speed-dialing the tabloids with stories that make Lindsay look like an innocent victim.

  17. Ruby Red Lips says:

“That being said her daughter is about to be charged with yet another crime and the first thing on her mind is an episode of Glee??? What a psycho.”

My first thoughts exactly – what a disgusting excuse of a human being…and as I said in an earlier post she’s obv given up on Lindsay and will be selling her off to arab sheiks and will now start pimping out Ali as the next big thing!

Sad sad sad waste of oxygen

  18. jane16 says:

I watched Glee with teenage son & friends last nite & they all thought it was ridiculously over the top, but the Dina slam at the end did cheer me up.

  20. KB says:

For a show that tires to highlight diversity and show that bullying is wrong it does a lot of bullying in return. There’s a lot of aggression coming from the script thrown at those who may have done things wrong are still human (which I think is a base theme of this show) You think they writers would be more careful about what they say. It seems since Glee is now the popular kid in school it can be the bitchiest, too. After the KOL dibacle I took it off my DVR list, that was super annoying almost as much as Lea Michelle.

Side note this reminds me of kids I saw go from total loser to popular in college or HS, the go from being humble and nice to an egomaniac. I think tht’s exactly what happened to Ryan Murphy, he was a behind the scenes nerd to the show pony. He’s using his popularity to get back at all those who hurt him, not realizing he’s become those people who bullied him before.

    Glee is over.

  21. k says:

    I love the Warblers….

  22. Alexa says:

I’m not some proselytizing Lindsey defender, but I find Glee’s remarks about her mother nasty and uncalled for.

  23. Nalah says:

So basically they did twice what you do every single day but thanks to your lack of self awareness and integrity, you were able to overlook that fact.

    let’s see now :

“Glee writers aren’t content to just make a subtle f’ing dig and let it go, like everything else on that show they have to make it large enough to get on our nerves.”

    Compared to your archives :

    Dina Lohan (100)
    # Lindsay Lohan (634)
    # Lindsay Lohan (224)

At least they were trying to be funny, not just judgmental. I liked that site but lately the stories reek of self-righteousness.

  24. Nalah says:

That being said, I think glee is a ridiculous show, and it’s also pretty judgmental.

  25. Jacq says:

As though Glee could embarrass Dina more than Lindsay, Michael or Dina herself. Ha! In that last pic, she looks like steven Tyler and those old rockers who looklike woman now.

#23 & 24: this is a gossip site, dumbass, of course there is an archive of tags. I will never understand why people like you feel the need to read and post comments on a site that you have such disdain for. Go somewhere else!

  26. TQB says:

@KB, as much as I enjoy anyone ragging on Dina, I have to agree. The bullied get popular and just start inflicting the same damage on someone else.

“Tomorrow, someone’s just going to take Heather’s place. That someone could be me.” – Veronica

  27. Ron says:

She has absolutely NO reason to be upset about this. Dina Lohan is the Ultimate in Bad Parenting, so what’s the damn issue.

  28. bluhare says:

I bet I know why they put that Dina joke in the show. Didn’t she threaten to sue them over the Goop/Lindsay episode like it was defamatory or something? The five rehabs were correct, and the crazy part’s a matter of opinion.

So they took a shot at her. When I saw it, I wondered if she was going to threaten to sue (maybe on behalf of her dog who really hasn’t done anything to deserve the title of loser dog!).

  29. KJ says:

“Dina Lohan is hurt by Glee calling her a loser.”

My response to this headline: Fucking good. It’s nice to know that soulless twat can actually feel something when she’s not busy trying to morally, emotionally and financially bankrupt her children.

This is not bullying. This is calling a spade a spade. I don’t even like Glee, but in the battle of shit vs. diarrhea, Dina Lohan is THE RUNS. Although the aggressive tone in the show is probably due to butt-hurt Ryan Murphy. He strikes me as the kind of person who got picked on and lamented acceptance only to pick on “the little ones” once he’s in a position of power. As someone said above, Glee (and Murphy) are the popular kids in school now. Like Perez Hilton, except with actual talent.

  30. Kim says:

For a guy who has such a problem with what he felt was a homophobic remark from the KOL he sure is calling kettle black by bullying on his show.

This show is supposedly about equality for all and no bullying people.

Although we probably all agree Dina is a piece of work it doesnt justify bullying her on a show that claims to be anti bullying.

This shows creator is turning me off to this show big time- shame.

  31. Kim says:

For the first time ever Dina Lohan is right. They are nothing but a bunch of bullies!

  32. Moreaces says:

    Dear Dina:

Loser is putting it lightly, it could have been worse, they could have just went all out and said every thing you really are.

  33. Leticia says:

Both are correct: Lohan is a loser and Glee are a bunch of bullies. The PC self-righteousness of the Glee crowd makes me ill.

  34. Ruby Red Lips says:

Its a flippant (but true) comment about DL…god, nobody can say anything nowadays, whatever happened to humour?? Take it on the cuff and move on, DL shouldn’t be so sensitive (for once) anyhows she’s prob only commenting to drum up more sympathy for her poor poor child who is treated so unfairly!!

  35. Crittle says:

Not that I feel bad for Dina, but for a show that is supposed to be anti-bullying, they sure do a lot of it, talk about mixed messages Ryan Murphy, I guess only SOME people are deserving of not being bullied.

  36. k says:

Love it that Glee called Dina a loser. Anyone that calls 911 because a shop won’t give her free ice cream cakes has stated for the world they are a loser. See, that’s where Linds gets it from.

  37. Mom says:

Dina Lohan receives a check as Lindsay’s manager. How does Michael Lohan earn his living? I’ve thought for a while if there was enough money left over for Lindsay, she wouldn’t be throwing fits in nightclubs when she isn’t comped her champagne or stealing a coat, or selling clothes online like the rest of us. This isn’t the first time she’s been accused of stealing jewelery. When you steal something you don’t allow yourself to be photographed in it 2 weeks later either. Lindsay is probably supporting the whole family.

  38. Danie says:

I cannot believe I am going to say this, but I agree with her on this. They do act like a bunch of middle school mean girls. I see this too often lately even by people who go on facebook etc to “fight” bullying….they are just bullies themselves…*cough*, Neil Pat*cough*rick Harris. Why do you think you are so much better than everyone else??

  39. My2Cents says:

    Nalah – good point.

D is a joke of a mother so she is fair game. She gets what she deserves in my opinion. She should be pulling her daughter into line rather than a TV show.

  40. Sweetpea says:

Glee was totally over the top,and I loved it!!
Dina its always all about you, What constructive thing have you done that was not done for your betterment, on the back of your daughter? and we all wonder why Lindsay makes the decisions she makes. Imagine all the stress she is under just trying to keep her mother in Carvel Fudgie the Whale cakes since they took the black card back

  41. WOOW says:

This WHOLE Lohan family is seriously, seriously disturbed and Lindsay staying in the spotlight is only doing further damage.

  42. Dawning Red says:

Wait a minute … Lindsay is Dina’s DAUGHTER? I thought they were twin sisters! Aren’t they both in their mid fifties?

  43. Confuzzle says:

    Where’s Ali?

  44. Marianne says:

I actually liked Glee last night…minus Sue’s over the top tantrum.

And I can’t believe Dina “doesn’t know why” she is being made fun of. You have been effing up your whole family and fame whoring for years. Not too mention, you have been made fun of for years. Either get used to it…or clean up your act.

  45. k says:

I think Dina has come to conclusion Ali is unmarketable.

  46. lachica says:

I’m over Glee. Haven’t watched since season 1.

That said, making fun of the Lohans is a cheap laugh. Just goes to show how little star wattage Lindsay now has. Sad.

  47. escape says:

You have got to give her credit fro keeping her mouth shut lately. That surprised me.

  48. sid says:

She should get off the Ritalin and onto a treadmill.

  49. TXCinderella says:

Earth to Dina…get a clue. Why do you think Glee is doing this? Maybe because it’s true and everyone knows it? You and your ex, Michael, are idiots. That is why Lindsey is messed up.

  50. Jeri says:

I liked Glee Sunday but it does seem to be “in style” for certain groups to mock Glee now.

Think for yourself people, deceide if you enjoy it, not your friends.
