Chris Kattan ordered to pay up for end of his 59-day marriage

Chris Kattan may be funny (that’s still debatable), but he’s probably shedding some tears over the six-figure sum he’s been ordered to fork over to his bride of 59 days, model Sunshine Tutt. Though the couple had a prenuptial agreement going into the marriage, Tutt’s lawyers renegotiated it and managed to get an undisclosed raise for their client. Sources say it’s in the six-figure ballpark.

Chris Kattan and Sunshine Tutt were only married for 59 days — but that doesn’t mean she isn’t going home with a nice consolation prize.

Sources tell TMZ there was prenup that would’ve given Tutt less than 10 grand — but a renegotiation just upped the ante to a low six-figure sum.

Tutt’s lawyer, Ronald Richards, told us: “My client is very relieved that she can leave this two month marriage with some resources that will allow her to rebuild her life.”

Sounds like Kattan is the best mistake Tutt’s ever made.

Is she really entitled to that much money after being his wife for two months? According to reports, both parties were cheating. Was Chris that desperate to get rid of her that he was willing to part with some big bucks to do it? It’s not like he is rolling in dough or anything. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Sunshine “rebuilds” her life with her ex’s cash.

They had apparently been dating for years before they even got married so whatever.

I wonder if the new settlement includes a non-disclosure clause… Maybe there’s more to the story than we know. Seems funny she would bother to sign a pre-nup that paid so little just before the wedding, only to turn around 59 days later and settle for 6 figures. Wonder what he was up to…?

if she found out that he was a necrophiliac on their wedding night, or he gave her the gift of herpes, or if she found out she was pregnant with sextuplets, then i could see a six figure payout after a mere two months of marriage, otherwise, what a travesty of justice.

That is just ridiculous. After only 59 days? What a racket. I think she must have been paid that hefty sum to sign a non-disparge/non-disclosure agreement. Otherwise, she wouldnt have been given squat by a court after 59 days of marriage. If he voluntarily paid six figures, then her lawyer had some mighty cards on the table.

It’s called a PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT. It’s legally binding. If he fought it, he would probably lose and wind up spending more $$ on legal fees! 😯

  10. soldier says:

to pay for a marriage of just 59 days and to 6 figures is just how men are losing in this society. Sad really Sad and should be illegal. πŸ™

  11. soldier says:

if he was married 17 years to this woman and she had his children, then that’s cool, but 59 days?????? ❓

The most expensive beard trimming I’ve heard of.

  13. Jag says:

Now we know to always put a non-disparge/non-disclosure agreement in our prenups BEFORE we get married. πŸ˜†
