Jennifer Aniston’s SmartWater commercial: cute or annoying?

aniston2

This is a really long commercial for SmartWater! More than two and a half minutes to fill, all to shill SmartWater, which I have never tasted (I have a water filter that works just fine, thank you very much). Anyway, Jennifer Aniston is “the face” of Smart Water (and she also has stock in the company), so she’s the star of this little commercial. I guess they just want it to go viral (“turns into a virus” as Aniston says), so they fluffed it up a bit with Internet sensations:

Okay, I have to admit – this was kind of cute. My favorite parts are where the parrot calls her Rachel and when the puppies are, like, attacking her crotch. I also kind of like that she’s putting herself out there as ditzy and out-of-touch with the Internet terminology and viral stars. It makes her look dated, but not in a bad way.

They should have filmed this after her new haircut though. Seeing her throw her long, flat-ironed hair back like she’s Farrah is not exciting. And this is much more enjoyable than her SmartWater print ads.

  4. sam says:

I predict it will turn into a virus….errm..it will go viral.

  5. spinner says:

    Totally cute!!!

  6. mln76 says:

Oh this is actually cute. The girl needs to get back to her roots and get a comedy show on TV (ala 3O Rock) she is much better there than in shitty rom coms.

  7. Isabela says:

CUTE! Love me some Smartwater & Jennifer Aniston.

  8. truthSF says:

Please don’t waste your money buying smart water….It ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Besides, a filter is far more cheaper and convenient.

  9. Jennifer says:

Love her, but Smart Water is all hype. Ah well.

  10. Rachel says:

Cute!I also use a water filter but if I have to buy water, it’s always Smart Water.

  11. JustBored says:

    Those puppies are so cute!!

  12. chasingadalia says:

After chaperoning one too many school dances, I had to laugh at the babies.

Also, I hate buying bottled water, but for those rare occasions, I do actually get SmartWater. Tastes like a cloud.

  13. bella says:

this is the cutest I’ve seen her in a long, long time…I think I may like her again…LOL

  14. guesty says:

That was cute! Lol @ the slo mo whip your hair around moment. & the puppies…haha.

  15. Celebitchy says:

I agree Kaiser it was cute, but it’s not going to get me to drink designer water.

  16. mln76 says:

I also don’t bother with bottled water but I have to give Smart Water credit for their labels they crack me up.

  17. eja102 says:

    *sigh*

I fell for her all over again. something about her, she’s cute and funny and has great hair.

  18. Violet says:

fairly cute. still not buying it though

  19. BlogPhoto says:

No doubt very cute! Jen, I love you!

  20. serena says:

I’ll say this: I usually can’t stand Jennifer Aniston, almost hate her. But this video was funny and I liked her a tiny bit. Points up.

  21. the original bellaluna says:

Actually, Function Water has a better taste than Smart Water. I’ve had both, as I prefer my electrolytes to be sugar- carb- and calorie-free. Think Gatorade, minus the nasty taste of Gatorade.

(I live in SoCali – for the next 5 days, anyway – and I absolutely REFUSE to drink tap water. Now, when I visited family in MI, tap water was like drinking bottled water. It was AWESOME! But not here. Not EVER. You can SMELL when they treat the water for stuff – it smells like Clorox is coming out of the faucet. NO THANK YOU!)

  22. peacelovekitty says:

I love this and I love her. She totally makes fun of herself – great sense of humor!

  23. HRH says:

    Totally cute, like her.

  24. someone says:

I think its really cute..haters should just let it go..

  25. flotus says:

Love it, Smartwater and ALL of her rom coms! She is an absolute doll, and never tries to be anything she isn’t….

    Gorgeous body!!!

  26. DeeDee says:

That was really funny! I have always loved her, and this shows just how funny she can be.

I wish she would focus on more comedy stuff and less Romcom stuff.

  27. Vanessa says:

Love her and the fact that she can make fun of herself. She is adorable!

  28. Maureen says:

    Annoying!

  29. Lisal says:

It takes A LOT for me to burst out laughing at a video — and I did at this. There were multiple funny parts. I guess if you’re a Jen A. fan and get her humor, you will like it. Totally CUTE!

  30. Whatever says:

I saw a link to this somewhere else earlier this morning. Very funny, although I expect the same old story. People who like her will find it funny and those who hate her will trash her and smart water, while spewing venom that boggles the mind. Oh well, who cares? Let the games begin…

  31. manly says:

she need water for she is dri.

  32. Cheyenne says:

Agree with CB. As long as tap water is free, I’m not drinking the designer stuff. In NYC, tap water tastes fine.

  33. Dea says:

Cute commercial but never bought and never will buy this brand. Water is water. Period.

  34. DGO says:

I think it’s funny. I also drink Smart Water. 🙂

  35. Marc says:

I just can’t not like her. She is adorable.

  36. soso says:

If she were smart and concerned she would have had smartwater channel that water into parts of the world that have NO water. Instead of this cutesy stuff that at the end of the day is all about you and no one else.

  37. Alice says:

    Annoying. I don’t care what she’s doing, she’s annoying.

  38. Kasey says:

I think it was cute and she looks GREAT! I am liking her once more! I so hope that Sandler movie helped her career. I’m not sure if this ad will win people over to smart water but it is definitely winning her back into my good graces! Although I think when I’m back in the States again and have to buy bottled water, SmartWater it will be!

  39. Az says:

Alice typed word for word exactly how I feel. Thank you.

  40. Oi says:

reverse osmosis filters are the best! And yeah, the designer water is totally unnecessary.

  41. Rita says:

I once made the mistake of letting a Red Macaw parrot whisper sweet things in my ear. Yes, that beak is as powerful as it looks.

Interesting note: Parrots can not right themselves like a cat when being thrown across the living room with an ear lobe in its mouth. He’s fine.

    Oh yeah, good commercial.

  42. CoffeeTalk says:

The ad is cute and funny. I don’t really care what type of bottled water I drink (I have a filter jug anyway) but I did do that hot yoga once and barfed and felt awful and some girl there gave me some of this stuff and I felt better. She said I needed electrolytes (whatever those are) and apparently Smart Water has those.

I haven’t had it since then though. I like my filtered water.

  43. little_red says:

Too much plastic in the environment – not good for your health or the environment, no matter how much yoga you do.

  44. Alicia says:

Filtered tap water in a bottle is a waste of money don’t care about added electrolytes. The same for Dasani and the one put out by Pepsi (or whichever, one is put out by Coke, the other Pepsi and I can’t keep them straight but don’t buy either.) Chicago also has great tap water.

  45. mln76 says:

You can go to a health store and get a pack of powdered electrolytes. One of the more popular brands is EmergenC.

  46. Raven says:

It was a cute commercial love the dancing babies does it make me what to buy SmartWater no, does it make me like Jen no but she did a really good job in the commercial and she should go back to the small screen she does really will in TV shows.

  47. sauvage says:

    Love it.

  48. ordinarygirl86 says:

I like this, it was cute and funny! And she was actually funny without the help of some male costars like Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler (like in her movies)

  49. bagladey says:

    Love it too.

  50. Cheyenne says:

I have to admit, that really was cute. Maybe she can rebuild her career doing commercials. Lots of older actors have done that.

  51. Breigh Metcalfe says:

I LOVE this! I think it’s great the way she makes fun of herself…and plays up to the computer nerds, puppies, parrot, babies, etc. Funny…pretty…very entertaining!!!

  52. Bobby the K says:

Is the bottle going to be a phallic symbol in the ads?

  53. Canuck says:

It’s cute and it’s nice that she is at ease with herself enough that she can make fun of the cliches in her life.

  54. Praise St. Angie! says:

funny for sure…I agree that comedy is her strength, and not just in the romcom genre. she has great comedic timing and would do well on another sitcom.

however, I think her ego is preventing her from seeing this. she’s a movie star these days, and like her or hate her, she’ll keep doing movies as long as they’re offered to her because they’re more money and less work than a TV show.

not that she has a HUGE ego, but I think when you’re being treated like a movie star, the idea of doing tv is seen as “a step down”.

as for whether it will make me buy Smart Water? nope. but there are plenty of ads that I think are funny/cute/memorable, and they’re for products that I would NEVER buy.

    (like light beer…)

  55. LOVE ANGELINA says:

It was funny. I really liked the concept behind it and it was just really funny. I buy bottled water all the time, no filter in my home yet, but of course on principle I would never buy Smart Water. If I am near a Walgreens I like to get Iceland Pure Spring Water. Its really the purest water I have tasted. I love it.

  56. Melanie says:

I just ran out and bought 5 cases. I told 10 of my friends to do the same.

  57. Chloe says:

I don’t see the appeal. I see an attempt to be cool by being “so uncool,” and then whimsical – whee.

But that’s me and I’m jaded.

  58. harfang says:

It is pretty cute, and I think it’s great she can make fun of herself, yeah. She’s never been this genuinely mildly entertaining to me before. I am surprised however that she’s doing ads for bottled water, which creates so much waste it’s not even funny. She cares about being seen as a good person, and getting paid to increase the massive amount of trash on the planet will not benefit her sociological karma.

  59. scarlet says:

Very funny! She looks really sexy in the end.

  60. Isa says:

She looks really good in the ad. But why does she walk so weird? I’ve noticed it before when she was on a talk show in a maroon dress that I wanted.
It was cute and funny, but I will never buy SmartWater again. I do not like the way it tastes.

  61. anonymous says:

Crappy movies and dopey interviews Jennifer Aniston is probably not drinking her own advertised smart water. This grown woman is like a child who constantly needs the spotlight, how pathetic.

  62. Mrs.Krabapple says:

    What’s wrong with the commercial:

Her pants are too tight, thus making her walking funny. What does “the smartest water” mean? What does “purest tasting water” mean? Is it the PUREST water, or is it only the purest TASTING? There’s a difference. What does “pure” taste like anyway? With double rainbows, the colors of the second rainbow are in reverse order. Wild macaws are so endangered that whenever I see one I immediately think about the environment . . . which then makes me remember that plastic is one of the worst polluting industries, and plastic water bottles are a scourge of the planet. The commercial is too long. It doesn’t make me want to buy their water.

    What’s right with the commercial:

Um . . . I’m sure Aniston had fun making the commericial all about her instead of the water. So she had an enjoyable few hours, and an ego boost. That’s about the only good thing I can think of.

  63. Lee says:

Totally enjoyable ad – they even included rainbow guy (with the in-joke that non-internet-savvy Jen had no clue who he was) to hit all “viral” bases. She’s very funny and likable in this.

  64. Anna says:

Better than her recent movies. Maybe she needs to go back to sitcoms.

  65. Venus says:

My mom LOVES SmartWater — she swears the electrolytes in it make her feel more “refreshed” than just regular water (or other bottled waters).

I thought the ad was cute — as Anna said (#64) right above, better than her recent movies.

  66. Liana says:

i thought it was a good commercial. Cute and watchable. I drink filtered water around the house, but I bring smartwater to yoga. Have since it came out.

  67. mln76 says:

BTW does everyone know about BPAs in water bottles? just another reason to drink tap water.(sorry Jen but it’s a good commercial )

  68. Heather says:

    Thought it was cute. 🙂

  69. Benny says:

Ads like these really annoy me. If you’re going to take up a full 2-1/2 minutes of my time, tell me why I should buy your product, not waste my time with lame jokes past their expiration date.

The whole concept is stupid: Jennifer Anniston doesn’t know about the internet. Really? It’s freakin’ 2011! Is she mentally challenged, or just extremely out of touch with the real world? What marketing genious thought that premise was fresh? Everyone involved in coming up with this commercial should be punched in the face.

  70. Benny says:

Also, I don’t watch her movies. To all the posters who said this stupid commericial is better than her movies: is that true? I could barely sit through 2 min. of this crap – I cannot imagine sitting through 2 hours of it. If that is true, then she should get out of the business. Seriously.

  71. DGO says:

@min76 – The BPA’s in plastic bottles is totally fabricated to bring the plastic industry down. If you knew what’s in tap water – the chlorine, the chemicals – you would never drink it. Yet water is essential for good health. I drink Smart Water, but I also drink Evian. Evian was analyzed by a nutritionist and recommended above all other waters that were tested (Smart Water wasn’t tested). My doctor refuses to drink tap water, but will drink bottled.

  72. Isa says:

Am I the only one that thought they were singing about the Pontiac G6? Someone had to explain it to me that it was a plane…and she had to look it up to find out.
    I’m so out of it.
I think it’s very interesting that most of the comments on this thread have been pretty positive. Most of the negative comments have been about bottled water.

  73. Mrs.Krabapple says:

Plastic is one of the biggest polluter industries on the planet. Studies have shown that many humans have levels of bisphenol A in their bodies that exceeds the levels known to cause adverse effects in animals. Infants are particularly at risk.

But if anyone wants to drink bottled (in plastic) water because a celebrity endorses it – or for any other reason – go ahead. I believe in Darwinism.

  74. mln76 says:

@DGO uhm Canada and the Europe Union have banned them but I am not a scientist So I guess I’ll believe you… But since alot of times bottled water is just filtered tap water (For Instance Dasani is literally filtered London tap water) and I have personally visited NY resovoirs and they are pristine I would rather buy a filter and get a good water bottle It saves me tons of money (except on the days when I forget my water bottle at home or leave it on the train) 🙂

  75. lisa says:

She is doing ads for bottle water.. well this one because she is an investor in the Company that makes this product. She gets money when the product sells. So she is not just a pitch woman.. She has some ownership in it making money.

I don’t buy bottle water. that craze has ended a bit. Most people I hope have realized that it is all a scam and that research has shown it is no better then the water that is FREE..

I had a friend that would take the empty water bottles and refill them for her children. She was not about to buy water. She did it for years. When they finally realized they were drinking tap water.. well lesson learned.

  76. Cherry Rose says:

I thought it was cute. I just drink plain old tap water, or if I’m at my boyfriend’s, out of a filter.

On the off chance I do buy bottled, I buy Fiji.

  77. lucy2 says:

    Very cute commercial.
I don’t use bottled water regularly though, I have my Brita filter and my stainless steel bottle, and I’m good to go. Cheaper for me and better for the environment.

  78. Steph says:

    GO AWAAAAAAAAY!

i thought when her & Brad split, that would be the last of her.

  79. endoplasmic_ridiculum says:

I think ‘Smart Water’ in a bottle is just a physical oxymoron.

Bottled water is the ultimate’ Emperor’s New Clothes’ – I once read this article about how much better tap water is for you because it is ACTUALLY GOVERMENT REGULATED whereas there is usually LITTLE OR NO REGULATION of bottled water:

    http://thewaterproject.org/bottled_water_luxury.asp

There are tons of similar papers.

  80. flourpot says:

I’t’d be smarter water if they had refilling stations. Until then, it’s Scam Water.

  81. Cheyenne says:

Since she’s already got more money than she will ever be able to spend, it would be nice if she donated all the proceeds from this commercial to bringing clean water to places that don’t have water at all.

  82. Josephina says:

Commercial was cute…she was cute and funny—I cannot believe I just described Aniston as cute! I will probably not buy the SmartWater.

  83. DGO says:

@mln76 – I live in Canada. My Canadian doctor recommends bottled water. In fact, I don’t know a doctor who doesn’t drink bottled water.

  84. Whatever says:

Loving all the judgy comments about what kind of freaking water people drink. Seriously, I can’t stop laughing!

  85. the original bellaluna says:

    Okay, for clarification purposes:

When I buy bottled water, I re-use said water bottles (we have a reverse-osmosis system) or I recycle them. I’m not one of those elitist assholes who thinks my plastic bottles don’t pollute.

I refuse to drink ANYTHING that smells like Clorox. Unless we’ve just had a water-disrupting earthquake, and chlorine is the only way to purify the water. Whatever comes out of my faucet should NOT taste like a laundry product!

  86. endoplasmic ridiculum says:

Also, I’m beginning to get why Brad dumped her dumb mall chick ass.. It seems their social and political values are polar opposites.

  87. Venus says:

@Benny — thank your lucky stars you haven’t seen “Just Go With It.” That ad is practically “Citizen Cane” by comparison.

@Lisa — tell your friend and @original bellaluna — stop refilling water bottles — doing that engenders a TON of bacteria because those thin plastic bottles cannot be cleaned properly & you can end up making yourself sick doing that. It is much better to get the thick plastic sports bottles (that can be washed in the dishwasher & are sold everywhere) if you are worried about conserving plastic but want the convenience of being able to carry water around.

  88. Sassy says:

    Totes cute! 🙂

  89. Kloops says:

She’s stunningly beautiful, but the commercial is just “meh”. Will not buy the bottled water bc of it.

  90. Sapphire says:

The ad is amusing, although it won’t make me buy SmartWater any more than I already do. It does make me wish Jen would do another sitcom—she’d be so funny on one of those.

  91. TheProcastinator says:

Typical of her to promote environmental POLLUTION! No matter what the plastics apologists say, the amount of effort, money and time it takes to break down plastic is phenonomal. Common sense tells one that it is pollution, and I don’t know any professional, health or otherwise, that would recommend you buy water in a plastic bottle, unless you lived in the middle-east or Ethiopia. In a time with global warming we should be cutting down on greenhouses gases and pollution. These bottles do nothing but litter the environment and don’t break down. Its a disgrace that anyone would buy them. But, Aniston is the same woman who said she brushes her teeth under a running shower, so its obvious she is totally clueless when it comes to environmental impact.

    http://www.sustainablefootprint.org/en/cms/gebruikerscherm.asp?itemId=393

    http://www.funnypictures.net.au/200000-plastic-bottles/

  92. Pirouette says:

Oh…ok. Looks like its time for everyone who doesn’t use or reuses plastic water bottles to pat themselves on the back. Its not about you.

  93. TheProcastinator says:

Lol, as if there weren’t enough apologists on here. It is about everyone. It affects the planet and our future. Its everyone’s business.

  94. Canuck says:

How many of you caught that the name of the guy she kicked in the nuts is “Brad”? LOL

Reverse osmosis users, better to use glass bottles which are a lot more environmentally friendly anyways.

  95. StarJO says:

I like how she introduces herself as ‘Jen’ Aniston, she has to go by that name from now on. yeah too bad she didn’t film this after her haircut but it’s cute anyways:)

  96. N.D. says:

Guys, unless you’re vomiting non-stop or training for 3-4 hours or having a real bad case of diarrhea you don’t need those electrolytes all that much. That means by drinking this smart water (or similar product) instead of tap water just because you’re ingesting an excessive ammount of some chemicals nothing else. Electrolyte imbalance can be of two types – not enough and too much.

The more isn’t always the better.

The same goes for taking vitamins just because when you don’t really have a proven deficiency or at least are at a risk of it.

  97. anonymous says:

Jennifer Aniston, this poor soul probably get up every day hating Charlie Sheen because he is the media darling at this time. At the least Charlie has a mental disorder what does JA have. To advertise bottled water an environmental hazard, she has in her promotion video every thing that have proven to be an online hit, cute babies, birds and dogs, only babies need more attention than Jennifer Aniston.

  98. Canuck says:

I’d just like to point out to all of the people bashing Aniston because “bottled water is an environmental hazard” when it’s really because you’re a Brangelina fan, that gold mining is pretty toxic to the environment as well (mercury and cyanide anyone?), yet we have yet to hear anyone denouncing AJ’s jewellery line…

  99. KatScorp says:

LMFAO @Rita #41. Poor macaw. So, are you walking around with just one earlobe now? ‘Cause the image amuses me.

As a conspiracy theorist, the bottled water debate is now 10 years old for me. I use crystal salts instead of anti-perspirants. I don’t drink diet soda or use artificial sweetners. But I drink three litres of tap water a day. Truthfully, there are poisons everywhere in our environment. While Mrs Krabapple’s Darwinian Award encouragement gave me a good laugh, avoiding the chemicals and other industrial pollutions in the modern era is now like running in the rain and avoiding getting wet. Most things in moderation shouldn’t kill you however.

This thread is quite timely for me. I never got into the Jen/Angie/Brad thing before, but three days ago I started using the tags at Celebitchy to catch up because that $40million mansion story resulted in a thread bitchfight that intrigued me. And wow! There is a history at this site. In reflection, I just think that Brad was probably a douchbag and the rest doesn’t matter. Dude is looking old and worn up anyway. Ange got the family she wanted. Jen appears to be happy enough. Boring. Back to the LeAnn/Eddie/Brandi discussion for me.

  100. nnn says:

Didn’t know gold mining was toxic.

I knew that at some point diamonds from countries like Liberia financed never ending war but you do know that Liberia has ceased that war years ago, right ?

That it’s a country ruled by a democratic party and its president isEllen Johnson-Sirleaf who has been educated in the US, hence is backed by the US government too.

And that diamond’s origin are now traced. Many are coming from South African gold mines anyway and are used as industrual diamond

So to equal toxic bottles that really can triggered domestic health problem to this is not only a desperate attempt to dismiss or absolve the fact that here we have a dangerous product of mass consumption that could easily be replaced by lesser toxic product but also seems DESPERATE, IGNORANT, PATHETIC and LAUGHABLE.

  101. Canuck says:

@nnn: The Ivory Coast is the only country that is in breach of the Kimberley Process at the moment. While there are other places such as Zimbabwe where nasty things are going on in the diamond fields, those nasty things don’t fall under the definition of what the Kimberley Process is about, which is civil war.

If everyone follows the rules, a diamond can be traced to it’s origin via paperwork. However, there is no way to verify where a diamond came from chemically or from inclusions as is the case with coloured stones. There are a couple of exceptions to that that involve pink or blue diamonds, but other than that, no way at all to tell.

Russia is actually the biggest producer of diamonds as of last year, Botswana was second I think, South Africa has fallen down the list. But anyways, diamonds are irrelevant to the discussion of gold mining. Try Googling “gold mining toxic” and see what you come up with. This one speaks of SA pollution: http://articles.latimes.com/2010/nov/26/world/la-fg-south-africa-water-20101126 Polluting the underground aquifer so that people can wear pretty shiny baubles isn’t exactly innocuous. Water pollution is water pollution regardless of it’s cause be that heavy metals, chemicals or oil spills etc.

  102. TheProcastinator says:

Lol, so anyone who says anything against Jen, is automatically a ‘Brangelina fan’ according to the loonifers. Don’t you love how the loonifers are always the first to bring up Angelina? Its a topic about Jen and water for f*cks sake, and a loonifer has to blame it on Angelina or drag Angelina’s name up as to somehow ‘absolve’ Jen from any sin, by COMPARISON. Christ, how sad and pathetic. But to somehow compare Gold, to a plastic throw-away bottle that is produced approx a hundred times more and has no retaining value, is reaching, desperate and pathetic. Its so pathetic and sad.

  103. Canuck says:

@TheProcrasinator: No, that’s not what I meant, and if you read what I wrote carefully, not what I said. It would be hard to deny that there are likely a certain number who only criticize her because of who she is. That is who I was directing my comment to.

  104. TeProcastinator says:

Yet you often do this. Drag Angelina’s name into it. I’ve seen your posts. To you, any legitimate complaint against Jen is ‘from Angelina fans’. It seems to me you are only criticising Angelina for who SHE is. Advocating people buy water in plastic bottles us absolutely irresponsible. No matter what you want to say about Angelina out of spite.

  105. _TheProcastinator says:

  106. Canuck says:

@TheProscrasinator: I’ve made it clear as to who my comment was directed at and that it was to point out a certain level of hypocrisy on the part of those who are happy to overlook the exact same “sin” if the person is different. You’re more than welcome to take it differently, but then it’s on your head, not mine.

Also, out of curiosity… if an actor was to do an ad for a mobile phone company, would you be outraged? The fact is that much of the rare earth mineral content used in cell phones come from an area in the Congo that is under control of warlords and who profit directly from their sale.

Finally, please feel free to provide links to the places where I “often do this”. I imagine it shouldn’t be difficult to find if it’s a habit of mine to bring her into unrelated discussions.

  107. _TheProcastinator says:

Canuck, NO ONE brought Angelina up, but YOU, in post 99. So that puts paid to your LIE about needing to bring Angelina up, because others attacked Jen because of Angelina. NO ONE DID. You THINKING thats the reason why, does not mean it is. Did it not strike you as odd, that you were the first person to bring up Angelina?
I’ve done a search for canuck and Celebitchy on Google, and there is ample proof there of you dragging Angelina into conversations, just like this thread where you were the first and ONLY one to mention her.

Yet again, I notice you still desperately scratch in the dirt and scramble around for ANYthing to compare to. We are not talking about valuable and necessary communication tools that are not produced en masse to throw away the next day. We are talking about plastic water bottles and no matter what bs ‘analogy’ you pull out because you are so utterly DESPERATE to make Jen look good, it won’t work and you’d have to be a bun, meat, lettuce and sauce short of a Big Mac to think they are in any way comparable. Promoting bottled water is WRONG and there is NOTHING, and I mean absolutely NOTHING to can say that will excuse it. Anyone with nous and integrity knows this and wouldn’t make a fool of themselves trying to wriggle out of it.

    Once does not equal often.

No links does not equal proof.

    Pollution is pollution.

Smartwater also comes in glass bottles.

You’ll note that in comment 95, I’ve also made the observation that glass bottles are more environmentally friendly.

  109. _TheProcastinator says:

No, as I said, you did it numerous times, and you know it. Anyone can Google “Canuck” +”Celebitchy” and then +”Angelina” or +”Aniston” and the links and info is all there.

No normal sane person would say ‘pollution is pollution’. That is immature and sheer scientific nonsense and you really are making a fool of yourself by your utter desperation. Stop digging that hole. Face it, you’ve been caught out lying on both accounts. You desperation at continuing this simply because you don’t have the hoensty or decency to admit your idol is promoting the WORST type of pollution possible, reflects on you as a loonifer.

First mention of AJ by Canuck (and I’ll ignore your posts at FemaleFirst) http://www.celebitchy.com/96628/jennifer_aniston_names_her_perfume_but_is_named_for_gerard_butlers_dog/

Canuck YET AGAIN dragging Jolie into a topic about Aniston:
    http://www.celebitchy.com/128270/jennifer_aniston_dons_black_bikini_bends_over_for_the_paparazzi/

Want me to continue Canuck? Or will you admit that you are OBSESSED with hating Jolie?

  110. Canuck says:

Link or lie my Procrastinator friend. Commenting on a thread that is about AJ or in which she has already been invoked does not equal “dragging her into it”.

As I said, bottled water usually comes in glass bottles. Smartwater does. How is doing a commercial for a bottled water that you can CHOOSE to buy in a glass bottle “promoting” plastic bottle usage? Besides, I’d be very surprised if anyone in a first or second world country can truly claim to not use plastics in any way shape or form. Castigating one person for doing an ad while sitting there drinking a coke that has been poured from a 5 liter plastic bottle or wearing clothes that were washed with detergent stored in a plastic bottle is a lovely bit of irony, don’t you think?

Mercury and cyanide in groundwater from gold mining. At least plastic bottles can be recycled, if the consumer bothers with it.

Re: Your links… in the first one, I still genuinely think that’s why she called it that. And for all you know, maybe I’m right as she seems to enjoy making fun of the things that have happened in her life as we can see from her kicking a comedian whose first name is “Brad” in the nuts in the YouTube commercial. After all, “vie” is a french word as is “jolie”, and coincidentally or not, is pronounced exactly like the letter “v” which of course is the first letter in Voight. And like it or not “Lola” was indeed a song about a transvestite sung by the Kinks.

In the second one, you will note that AJ was brought into the discussion by someone else (comment 62).

As for FF, the whole board is about Brangelina, so it’s not a really big surprise that she’s the subject of threads.

I’ve no problem admitting that I don’t like AJ. I actually did like her back before she got with Pitt. I think she’s turned into a huge fake since then, at least she wasn’t afraid of being herself before. As for her films, I never go and see them, mostly because films that are centered around people being shot don’t count as entertainment for me. The first and last film I paid to see her in was MAMS, see the reason above concerning fakeness. As for Pitt, he’s never done it for me, although I did enjoy the Ocean films because of the cast chemistry.

So, how willing are you to admit that much of the criticism of Aniston is based on the fact that she’s Aniston? Willing to man up to it?

  111. Canuck says:

No answer, not willing or are you just procrastinating?

  112. Kat says:

Bottled water bottles end up in landfills. Only 10% of it is ever recycled. That means some 90% of it ends in landfills where it decomposes, leaching back into the soil and water.
It’s one of the most useless inventions ever. The fact that Aniston would promote this is disgusting. She’s the one who said she’s environmentally friendly and takes 3 minute showers. It’s obvious that she chooses money over any of her stated values. You don’t have to be an Aniston fan or non-fan to notice how much of a hypocrite she is.
