House’s cute couple, Jesse & Jennifer, have moved on IRL (mild spoilers)

Wicked hot Jesse Spencer plays Dr. Robert Chase on Fox’s hit show House. He’s got an adorable Aussie accent and floppy blonde hair. His acting isn’t going to win any awards, but he’s so very pretty to watch.

On the show, he hooked up with another of Dr. House’s interns, Dr. Allison Cameron.

In real life, he hooked up with the actress who plays Dr. Cameron, Jennifer Morrison. They were engaged, but instead broke up in 2007.

On the show, their on-screen relationship is apparently still going on, but it’s hard to tell because both characters are way way way on the backburner ever since the show brought in new doctors for House to abuse. None of the new characters is as hot as Jesse.

Back in real life, Jesse has had the requisite gay rumors in the past, but now has a new girlfriend he was swooning over at the recent Emmy awards. Her name is Louise Griffiths. They were introduced by mutual friends two months ago, according to Star.

The 29-year-old Aussie “seemed very happy” when he escorted Louise Griffiths to the Entertainment Tonight Emmy party on Sept. 21, a source tells Star. “He was holding her hand and introducing her to everyone he knew. They acted like boyfriend and girlfriend.”

[From Star, print edition, October 13, 2008]

If he introduced Louise to everyone he knew, I wonder if that included his recent ex Jennifer, who also at the Emmys?

By-the-by, Jennifer is rumored to be dating Amaury Nolasco of Prison Break.

Jesse’s Dr. Chase had some good plotlines early in the show, but now he’s been regulated to occasional quips while doing surgery. They should give him more to do or just write him off so he can go be pretty on a movie screen.

According to IMDB, British actress Louise has appeared in a film called The Devil’s Chair and a British reality show called Fame Academy, which she didn’t win. She’s also listed in the cast of All’s Faire in Love, about competing Renaissance fairs.

Like Jesse, she was also previously engaged, to race car driver Jensen Button, but Button called off the wedding.

—————–Possible Spoilers for House—————–
Another of House’s original dethroned interns, Dr. Foreman, played by Omar Epps, will be getting more substantial screen time, according to Michael Ausiello in the October 10 issue of Entertainment Weekly.

EW reports Foreman and Thirteen, played by Olivia Wilde, “are going to be spending a serious amount of time together,” according to executive producer Katie Jacobs. Will Foreman be able to cure Thirteen’s Huntington’s disease?

Jennifer Morrison is in the inset, and Omar Epps is shown with his wife, Keisha Spivey. They have two children, K’marie, 4, and Amir, 10 months. Olivia Wilde is below. Credit: PRPhotos

Too bad they broke up, I thought they were cute together. Jesse’s new girlfriend is very pretty and they seem to make a nice couple as well. Good luck to all.

LOVE House! I didn’t like it when the 3 main characters ‘left’ the show. Since I like the new characters though, I’ve learned to live with it. Glad to hear Thirteen and Foreman will get additional air time.

  2. Ashley says:

anyone else think that Jesse’s new girlfriend looks ALOT like Ashley Judd?
    she’s pretty though.

  3. Rachel says:

I SERIOUSLY love that girls white dress in the last picture. Its so flattering, i want it! 🙁 haha

  4. dovesgate says:

Jennifer needs to go back to being a brunette. She’s prettier with warmer hair.

  5. Zoe says:

    Attention British readers!

Is that the same Louise Griffiths who used to go out with Jensen Button?

She looks EXACTLY like Emma Griffiths who is married to Matt willis from Busted..are they related?

  6. geronimo says:

Zoe – yes, same Louise. No to related to Emma (although yeah, they do look alike, esp. around the eyes.)

  7. Zoe says:

Geronimo – oooooh good on her, she was lovely on Fame Academy and I felt awful for her when Jensen dumped her so near to the wedding day. Bless, girl’s done good!

    I love Emma Griffiths…she’s ace…

  8. Obvious says:

I miss the original ducklings. I love Kal Pen and Olivia Wilde’s characters, but the other guy just isn’t right. Not to mention the chemistry isn’t the same.

The new guys can’t stick up for themselves, as much as I hated Amber she at least brought something to the show, and made this change bearable. Now that she’s gone and with Wilson getting so much less screen time it’s not the same. Though the private eye is fun to watch.

Can I have my ducklings back?

  9. Lindy says:

Yeah, I’ve stopped watching House. It’s just total chaos now, and I can’t be interested at all in the characters they added last season. I know they needed a change–it was getting to be very predictable: House is cranky and mean. Solves unsolvable case by being mean and insightful. Oh, House, you really are a bastard, but we’ll let it slide, because you’re a genius. But THAT much change? No, thanks. Also, the more Wilson the better, so less Wilson=me not watching anymore.
So skip House, and watch my new favorite show, which is SUpernatural. Seriously, the best show on tv, and very underrated. Good writing, gorgeous boys, great production values.

  10. Musey says:

Olivia Wilde is incredibly beautiful, her character is kinda growing on me a tiny bit, and I wouldn’t mind seeing her hook up with Foreman, but what the hell is up with that “Can Foreman cure her Huntington’s Disease?” bit at the end of the spoiler? That’s just stupid. And, I imagine, probably kind of offensive to actual sufferers of the disease.

On a lighter note, I was kinda holding out hope that Hadley would hook up with Kutner. Come on, it’d be adorable.

  11. sammie323 says:

Musey, no offense intended. Apparently the Foreman-Thirteen plotline will involve (SPOILERS)……

Thirteen agreeing to participate in a Huntington’s clinical trial overseen by Foreman.

  12. jasmine says:

:/ jesse’s girlfriend is pretty alright but i think he looks better with jen. and olivia is just plain gorgeous. i seriously think that jen and olivia should become good friends cause they’re both incredibly pretty.

and to me, jesse looks like his eyes are always red now..

  13. Honestly, I cherish Mark Weber! He’s so fast
