Benjamin Hendrickson, who played cop Hal Munson on “As the World Turns, shot himself this week at his home in Huntington, NY.
Hendrickson was reportedly depressed over the death of his mother 3 years ago, and was going through a tough phase at work in which his character was coping with the death of his daughter.
I am deeply saddened by the death of Benjamin Hendrickon. I really liked him on ATWT. I watch it every day. I will surely miss him and the show won’t be the same without him. Couldn’t anyone detect his depression or what would make him do what he did? Although I can understand because I lost my mother 3 years ago and haven’t gotten over it yet. I never will.
My sympathy to all of you as you try to go on without him. He will surely be missed and my prayers to all and to his family. I am so sorry.
I am really saddened by the death of Benjaman. It is really sad that he took his life. I do understand the loss of his Mother. My Mother just passed away recently after having heart bypass surgery.
