Pregnant Pink looks uncomfortable, fabulous and ready to pop

fp_7387000_pink_rev_02_17

Here are some new photos of Pink and Carey Hart meeting some friends for lunch or brunch yesterday. God, I feel for Pink. Poor girl! Look how big she is. I can only imagine how uncomfortable she much be. I keep expecting for her to give birth too – it seems like she’s been pregnant forever. She’s rocking that white dress, though. And I LOVE her little straw hat. Pink is a super-cute pregnant lady.

That bump is really large, right? I feel like she might be carrying twins. Either that or it’s just one BIG baby and Pink is going to go into labor any day now. Pink said before that she thinks she’s carrying a girl, because of karma and stuff. But she has a name prepared if it’s a boy: Jameson. God knows what she’ll name a little girl. Or little girls, because, you know, she’s huge.

Should be make the speculation interesting? I’m saying that she’ll give birth sometime this week. More specifically, I’d say… Wednesday. Anyone want to put money on it?

Maybe I’m not seeing it, but she doesn’t look all THAT big to me, just a typical last weeks of pregnancy bump.
I hope she picks a good name.

  2. Larissa says:

I was huge too and I wasn´t carrying twins, but a 9lbs baby boy! Which is completely normal, especially if you go all the way to 40 weeks , instead of having a 38 week scheduled c-section.
And yes it was unconfortable, I could barely walk but as long as my baby was healthy that´s was the most important thing.

  3. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

Looks like Carey Hart put on some sympathy weight!

  4. Blue says:

She’s seems forever preggo, gawddd that bit before giving birth is awful. Soo uncomfortable, glad I was preggo in the winter can’t imagine being that big and uncomfy along with the heat.

  5. nag says:

I’m going to suggest another 10days. Say7th june

  6. Anon says:

I’m going to say she will give birth Thursday evening… because really, I can’t see her going any later. Although it is her first baby and it seems like a lot of first pregnancies tend to go over their expected due date.

Can’t wait to hear the full name!

  7. OXA says:

She is a tiny little thing with a huge bump that is still high so I pick June 5th.

  8. Angie says:

She’s not ready yet. She’s still way to high. Baby hasn’t dropped yet. She looks great though. Love Pink.

  9. SEF says:

Having had 3 kids, I can attest that she looks NORMAL. This is how a NORMAL woman about to give birth to a SINGLE baby looks!

Stop saying how huge she is. She’s just very pregnant! The baby hasn’t dropped yet so she’s just carrying it up high.

  10. Michele says:

she looks great! she does not have the usual scowel women get when they are that far along in a pregnancy!

  11. Jaceie says:

It feels like she’s been pregnant forever.

  12. Larissa says:

And my guess is that she is due in 2 weeks!!!

  13. po says:

Agree, the baby hasn’t dropped yet. It should be another 2 weeks.

  14. truetalk says:

she looks like she could go 2 more weeks

  15. the original bellaluna says:

Yeah, baby hasn’t dropped. I couldn’t even SIT DOWN on my bum like a normal person when I was big-pregnant with my oldest. And he dropped overnight. LITERALLY. I stood up one morning, and I was like “HEY! I can breathe!”

@ Larissa – I have yet to meet an OBGYN who is willing to do a C-section more than a week prior to your due date. Our littlest one was “supposed” to be due June 16; the C-section was scheduled June 9; he was delivered via emergency C-section May 31 (2009). Some babies just won’t wait. Others (like my older 2 are late.)

  16. John Wayne Lives says:

@Larissa cosign. Good for her for hanging in there with mother nature!

I don’t think she looks overly huge either. She looks like she’s ready to pop and the end is where u put on all the “fluff” I like to call it.

@Angie that’s what I thought when I saw them! Wow is she carrying high! Once her belly drops from her ribcage to her pelvis, she’ll be ready! Yaaay!
God, I really love her and how genuine and true she is. Take note Nic K and all u other phonies! This is how real women do it 😉

  17. Dhavy says:

OMG I’m due in Oct and I’m dreading getting that big during the summer living in Miami.

I hope I look as cute as she does when I get there

  18. Bubbling says:

aaaw preggos, they are all too cute. Thanks for extra posts on Sunday, u guys rock 🙂

  19. Eve says:

    She should put on sunscreen.

  20. Darlene says:

I was that big – bigger even by the time I gave birth – 9lb 11oz baby girl. Poor Pink. I feel for her.

  21. Days after Christmas says:

God bless all you ladies that bring life onto this planet. Pregnancy is definitely not for me. I’m in my mid-30s and everyone is always like “You’ll change your mind, just watch” but I can’t imagine wanting to be that huge and uncomfortable, then sleepless for 3 years. Kudos to all you ladies, and to Pink.

  22. the original bellaluna says:

@ Days After Christmas – And thank you for knowing that about yourself and standing by your decision! (My earlier comment is stuck in mod)

  23. Louise says:

I hate the term “ready to pop”. It sounds so stupid and kind of offensive.

  24. MeMyself says:

    Ah….memories of my 11 and 1/2 pound little girl….

And Days after Xmas, it is not for everyone, but there is nothing more special than creating a little person from scratch, loving them, and watching them grow.

(Hope I didn’t make anyone barf!)

Best wishes to pink and her growing family.

  25. jacq says:

The hat looks too small, but it still looks better than her hair. She has been pregnant for something like 5 years, so I’ll give her a definite “soon.” She annoys the beejesus out of me.

  26. beany says:

not a good look – that dress

  27. Aries_Mira says:

She looks great! I love the white dress – nice and cool. I carried high as well and went for 41 weeks. Baby dropped only 14 hours before labour started. I can definitely sympathize with the heat though – I was due at the end of July!

  28. Tiffany says:

She doesn’t look that big to me. We have a girl on tour who was due yesterday and is waaayyy bigger and she is in great shape. Two other ladies just had babies and were both bigger, as was I both times.
BTW, one of them started tour saying she never was going to have kids, she was 38 and not going to do it. She is so happily in love with her son, it’s a gorgeous thing to see, especially knowing how I felt and still feel about mine. My cousin had her first at 42, the best thing that ever happened to her. I am thankful mine were born in Feb. nothing worse than being huge in the heat.
That said, I totally respect the right to decide not to have kids as well.
Pink looks like she has a couple weeks, I don’t think that baby has dropped yet either.

  29. courtney says:

leave the woman aone she had a miscarriage previously and a regular singleton pregnancy lasts between 38-42 weeks. just because she’s gained alot of weight doesn’t mean the baby will be 9lbs or bigger and first borns are usually late plus she’s of average height 5’4″ so the baby had nowhere to go but out & white makes her look furter along even with only days to weeks left

  30. the original bellaluna says:

@ Aries_Mira – Yes on the heat – oldest was due August 20 (but didn’t put in an appearance until Aug 29) in SoCali “Indian Summer” as it’s dubbed. AWFUL!

  31. LindaR says:

Couple of more weeks at least. And I say it’s a boy.

  32. Barbara says:

My first thought was she has time to go yet…that baby has not dropped.

  33. hoganbcmj says:

June 5th is my birthday – so fingers crossed. Also, love her, love her pregnant.

  34. Isa says:

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks she looks normal. My belly was about that size in my 9th month. I was only carrying one, 7 lb 4 oz baby.

And I know this is just a blog and Pink probably won’t even read this, but I just gotta throw this out there for future reference- it’s really rude to comment on a pregnant woman’s size. I had the “you look like you’re about to pop” comments start in the 5th or 6th month with my first. And I’ve already been asked if I was going to have twins with this pregnancy.

If you’re wondering when a woman is going to have her baby, ask her what her due date is. Also, if a woman is going to actually have twins she’s gonna throw that into the conversation somehow, probably very early on.

No one wants to hear comments on their size or any remarks that alude to how big they are getting. We see it, every morning in the mirror!

Days after Christmas- I have an almost three year old and I haven’t been sleepless at all because of her. You never know. 🙂

My next one, will probably be different. He’s in my belly now and awake every morning at 8. We have a morning person coming into our family of night owls! haha.

  35. Jen34 says:

I don’t like the ‘about to pop’ comment, either. It’s really tough being pregnant in the heat of summer.

  36. LunaT says:

She looks adorable. re:comments on what she’s wearing—-a pg woman can wear whatever she wants so she’s comfy. I wore things my non-pg self would never touch b/c I was hot and big.

I gained 40lbs and gave birth to a 7 lb 2 oz girl. The belly size does not necessarily denote the baby’s size.

And yay! to the ladies who don’t want babies and are honest about it. Just b/c you’re a woman doesn’t mean you have to have babies or are less of a woman.

  37. Larissa says:

@original bellaluna : In my country they actually do schedule c-sections at 38 weeks just because it is supposed to be “easier” like that. And I am not talking about emergency c-sections or babies sitting in breech position. Health care is devided into public and private, and at private practice c-sections rates reach up to 90% just because most of women don´t wanna bother going into labour and they can have things planned in advance, which is really sad actually. So my comment was more like in reference to that really. In my experience people always seemed schocked at the size I was and my baby´s measurements . Babies need space to grow and some need more space than others and that doesn´t mean you are carrying twins or triplets, I´ve always got comments like that and they were rather offensive to me.

  38. mimi says:

“about to pop” and “baby bump” are two of my least favorite phrases — sounds like something a 5 year old would say.

  39. PrettyTarheel says:

Pink looks fine. She appears to have eaten and gained a normal amount of weight during her pregnancy, and also appears to be trying to carry to full term, vs. the typical celebrity starve yourself and schedule a c-section asap. I would rather see people like her, Mariah, and Alicia than the Rachel Zoe’s of the world. I think seeing celebrity pregnancies like Rachel Zoe/Victoria Beckham skews our perspective on what real, pregnant women look like. We’re retaining fluid, we have fat ankles and swollen faces, etc. I’m 40 weeks on Tuesday, and Baby Tarheel has dropped some, but I still look like I’m carting around a watermelon in my stomach. It’s completely normal at this point.

  40. Amanda G says:

@Days after Christmas – I’m with you! I have never wanted kids either.

Pink looks great in that white dress!

  41. Kisha says:

Women are incredible to go through all that. It amazes me every time. It was never something I wanted to do but I honour those that do!

  42. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@Isa, congrats on baby number two! And ITA, I was six months pregnant with my now 7 week old and my SIL came to Christmas dinner and announced how huge I was and asked if he was twins. It bugged the sh*t out of me, but she’s a passive-agressive b*tch who has never been pregnant, so what does she know.

  43. girl says:

She is carrying pretty high too. Probably because she had fabulous abs to begin with.

For the record, I do not believe that bullshit about carrying high meaning that the baby is a particular gender. For one thing, it seems to change regionally. In some parts of the country, carrying high “means” boy, in others, a girl. It probably has more to do with mom’s physiology than baby’s gender.

  44. John Wayne Lives says:

All three of my babies were summer babies and it’s miserable,. With my second baby, My hubs would rub my tummy and ask if “Momma felt like poppin?” So that’s when that phrasing became cute to me 😉

  45. Scarlet Vixen says:

I don’t swear by the “carrying high” rule, but I will say that I carried super high with my son until practically the day I had him (and he was 17 days late). But with my daughter I carried so low my entire pregnancy I literally walked around holding my belly up because if felt like it was going to fall off. LoL I think it’s more about how baby’s comfy in there then the gender, tho.

And, I HATE it when people say 3rd trimester preggo ladies are ‘huge’ or ‘look like they’re having twins.’ We already feel ginormous, awkward, sweaty and unsexy–we don’t need people say, “Haven’t you had that baby YET??” and pointing out how massive we’ve gotten! Pink isn’t huge–she just look like a healthy soon-to-be mommy!

  46. malachais says:

I think the ‘look how big she is’ comment is in regards to her belly. When I was pregnant, I got comments like this too but I never took it as someone calling me fat. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Pink must be ready to get that baby out.

  47. BellaLuna says:

Ugh, Jamison is the name of my ex fiance who broke my heart 🙁

  48. Isa says:

MorticiansDoItDeader-Thank you! And congratulations on your new little one!
I know how you feel…hours after I gave birth to my daughter my SIL announced to the room that I still look pregnant. I gave her a pass since she’s like 10 or else she’d still be recovering. Jk.

I’ve always heard that with a boy you carry low and a girl you carry high. I think it’s bull too. Everyone guessed I was having a boy with my first and they were wrong. I’m carrying the same way this time around and everyone’s guessing a boy. I have to explain my first and that this is just the way I carry babies!

  49. Bubbling says:

oh BellaLuna hun that sucks, hugs..How bout we find him and kick his ass 🙂

  50. sandy#1 says:

i like her, and she looks great, i give her two weeks, can’t wait to hear the baby’s name.

  51. Victoria says:

    It’s a boy.

  52. Maritza says:

I hope she has an easy labor and a beautiful healthy baby girl.

  53. j says:

She looks great, perfectly normal size.

That “about to pop” phrase is weird to me too. When people said it to me toward the end of pregnancies, I’d reply, “Yep! About to pop a baby right out of my vagina!” Because that’s what they mean, right? Ugh.

  54. Ramona Q says:

    I love that car!

  55. Kezia says:

Ramona Q I was just about to say, but what about the amazing car, haha?

Didn’t know all this carrying babies high like Pink’s which i can clearly see and that the baby “dropped” so to speak before birth-common sense I suppose but till scary to hear being a few years away from baby-making!

  56. the original bellaluna says:

@ Larissa – OH! Okay, got it (and those women should be ashamed of themselves). My first two (8 lbs 5oz & 8 lbs 13oz) were born natural with no drugs. But my third, my “surprise baby” was with my second husband, who is a giant (6’6″) and over 10 lbs at birth himself. I wasn’t even going to try. 😉

I think one of the reasons Pink looks so big is because she’s short: short women don’t have as much “space” for baby so they look bigger.

    I love Pink!

  57. Andie B says:

Some people’s bumps can look very large if they are carrying extra fluid. I was, and my bump was just as big as Pink’s. I had an emergency c-section at 42 weeks, and baby was only 7 pounds 14. Those last few weeks were SO uncomfortable and I could barely move, but it was all worth it. Good luck to Pink, I hope it all goes well.

  58. Mrs. Odie 2 says:

She doesn’t look huge. You are just used to anorexic chicks who don’t go out publicly after 7 months because you stop looking adorably pregnant and start looking uncomfortably pregnant. I’m 36 weeks with my second and i look like this. I feel awful, but I’m very happy. Except when people tell me how big I look.

  59. Anastasia says:

She’s got another week or two. That baby hasn’t dropped yet. And there’s probably just one healthy sized one in there!

  60. chasingadalia says:

    @ PrettyTarheel – totally cosign

It looks like her face swelling has got to be uncomfy. For her sake, I hope that baby drops soon!

  61. kazoo says:

    she is so WT.

and didn’t they divorce before because he cheated on her? i guess she got over it.

  62. the original bellaluna says:

@ kazoo – No. They separated “due to their divergent careers” but never stopped loving each other. They ended up reconciling and never filed for divorce.

Sometimes when someone’s right for you, they’re just right for you – maybe not at the right time, but still right for you. (Spoken from someone who’s been there, hated that.)

  63. april says:

she is kind of short, so that may be why she looks bigger pregnant.

  64. JustMe says:

I’m 5 months along and just found out yesterday I’m having a boy (YAY!). Pink DOES look slightly uncomfortable, but I’m happy for her!
@ the original Bellaluna-are you serious?! Okay, now I’m officially freaked. Mr. JustMe is about 6’3 1/2, my brother in law is 6’6, their dad is 6’5…Giants, every single last one of them on the father in law’s side. I’m only 5’3 & I already look huge.

  65. L says:

@original bellaluna My sister had her 3 and 4 babies (she had twins) and her c-section ended up being scheduled at 36 weeks. Mostly because her babies were huge-they were 8.5 lbs a piece. And I’ve know a couple of other folks that had them before their due date. It’s a flexible thing-due dates are just strong educated guesses.

  66. SEF says:

    Isa –
U R right, no woman ever wants to hear how big she is whether pregnant or not!

  67. LunaT says:

    @Isa—congratulations!!! 🙂

@J—-Love your response to “getting ready to pop”. Awesome. Seriously, I might steal it during my next pg if I run into silly people making stupid comments.

  68. Amandahugandkiss says:

Aww, bless her. I was third-trimester pregnant in Malta throughout the summer. I wanted to die.

The observations about Pink’s baby not dropping yet are right- she’s got at least two more weeks.

The last couple weeks are the WORST! 😀

  69. Cirque28 says:

Pink seems like she has such a good guy. Maybe Carey Hart is a complete jerk IRL, but he comes across as sensitive and loving yet can hold his own. I see them having epic arguments and then laughing about them later.

  70. taxi says:

Not ready yet – baby is still riding way up high. She looks happy. Hope & the babe are both healthy.

  71. poopie says:

LOVE the PINK ! SHE IS glowing ! and i want that car!

  72. RHONYC says:

i betcha she’s already called up Angie Jolie for the name of the store that sells them badass baby motorcycle boots (remember on Viv that time. lol).

    i can’t wait for the badass baby fa-fa-fashions, i swear! 😆

congrats to Carey & Pink…so glad those 2 crazy kids made it!!!

  73. Charlotte says:

I so hated being pregnant. It’s such a happy time, but hormonally, it’s the worst.

  74. Bex says:

Charlotte I also hated being pregnant, I got huge each time. My babies were both average size about 3.8kg but the bump was all liquid. My little girl had so much space in there that she was still turning over about 6 hours before I gave birth.

  75. womanfromthenorth says:

It’s so high, has to be a Girl!

  76. Maddox says:

    Love this couple.

  77. Sugar says:

I’m surprised (unless I just missed it) that no one has jumped on the fact that she was driving that car that only has lap belts, while pregnant.

Not that they should! I just think it’s interesting.

  78. Melissa says:

Summer babies may suck because you’re in your third trimester and it’s hot, but at least you get to take your maternity leave in nice weather! My most recent babe was this winter, and winter babies are no walk in the park – with the crappy ass weather this winter I was petrified that I was going to fall and hurt myself or my baby!

  79. susie says:

I agree, she doesn’t look unusually huge, it’s just that white will make a pregnant woman look immense. I learned that the hard way, and have to be reminded every time I look at the photos of myself in a similar white muumu dress. Pink is so darling.

  80. Moops says:

That baby hasn’t dropped yet, and maybe she won’t. I predict a c-section.

  81. eternalcanadian says:

Looks like Pink will have the baby soon! And it definitely is a girl! Also looks like Carey added some pregnancy weight around his belly. 😛

  82. TQB says:

Congrats to all the recent and soon-to-be moms!!

I am 6.5 months now, and I love Pink a little more everyday. Love that she looks totally NORMAL. Love that she looks hot and over it but still smiles like that. Even when the stylist messed up her hair, she kept smiling and bought some cute hats.

She makes leaving the house each day a little easier.

  83. anons says:

    a boy named blue.

  84. Moore says:

Isa – I’ll trade your 8AM early bird for my 6AM early bird. Ok not really but my son loves to be up between 4-6 every morning and did in utero too. I’m a night owl and 4 months in, I’m still not used to it!

Scarlet Vixen, that is funny! I carried super low with my son instead of high. One day around 9 months preg I decided to head to the mall and that was the day I had to hold up my stomach. I thought he would fall right out!

I’m giving Pink a week to two weeks (around June 4-8). I think she looks great. Very happy.

  85. Erin says:

She looks normal! I think what shocks people is she doesn’t look like a twig with bolt-ons and a basketball attached to her, like most Hollywood women. Love her 🙂

  86. Isa says:

66- Thanks! I was beginning to think I was an oversensitive preggo lady!

    Thank you Luna T!

Moore- Now that I really consider it, he might be up before 8. I’m just never up to notice! I’m scared! haha!
