Tori Spelling suns her baby bump & chest dent: gross or not that bad?

Here are some new photos of Tori Spelling and a clean-shaven Dean McDermott on the beach yesterday. Tori wore a bikini and showed off her growing bump. Dean played with their kids. It was all a lovely photo shoot, and I think Tori is carrying really well, and this is maybe the best she’s looked in a few years. Pregnancy suits her – her face fills out, we’re not staring at her crazy bones, and people are more sympathetic to Tori when she’s pregnant. However, I don’t have any sympathy for what’s happening to her bolt-ons:

So, so, SO disgusting. I don’t understand how that doesn’t HURT. I don’t understand how you can just let that kind of thing “go”. Like, “Oh, I have to wax my eyebrows and shave my legs but I’ll put off doing something about THE ENORMOUS DENT IN MY CHEST.”

Now, back to her bump… I’m glad she looks healthy. And I hope her pregnancy is very healthy. She looks really good (except for the chest thing).

Couldn’t they inject something in there to lift that dent? With all the different fillers out there, it seems like you could get that fixed pretty easily. Looks healthy, though, and you can’t always say that about Tori.

  2. lilred says:

*climbs out from under rock* How the hell did I NOT know she was pregs again?

  3. SolitaryAngel says:

How did she get that chest dent thingie? o_0

  4. LunaT says:

What is the dent from? Implant slippage? I know nothing of fake boobies.

  5. borderlined says:

She probably wants to do something about her chest (I mean, who would WANT to let that go!?!), but can’t.

I can’t imagine any doctor would operate on her for a plastic surgery issue while pregnant. I bet she takes care of it very quickly after she has the baby.

  6. chasingadalia says:

    The Dent scares me.

  7. Eve says:

I know I’ll be bashed for this (being shallow and blah blah blah) but that is truly an unfortunate looking woman.

She’s had multiple plastic surgeries and still looks like Admiral Ackbar (to quote some blogger whose name I forgot).

  8. Sassy says:

Doesn’t Loni Anderson have the same odd dent in her cleavage? For the younger readers – she is an old girl who was once married to Burt Reynolds and was on TV. I am thinking that it just occurs in some people.

  9. maggiegrace says:

I always thought it was due to her fake boobs, but maybe it’s a sternum issue. Maybe her sternum is concave. Not much she could do about that. Prob looked worse BEFORE the fakes were bolted on.

  10. LunaT says:

@Eve, I feel the same way. I can usually find beauty in lots of people, but never her. Even w/her plastic surgery, it’s like her face is just a different kind of bad. Not better, just different. Poor girl. Growing up in such an image focused area. Must have been hard.

  11. Justaposter says:

    Sassy! LOL!

Okay minus the chest dent, she looks cute sunning the bun in the oven =)

  12. anne says:

Maybe in the privacy of her own home. GOOD SHE’S COME TO TERMS WITH HER OWN BODY. but come on – please don’t expose everyone else to it.

  13. MissMe says:

With all the $$$ she has, she could have had that dent fixed like 15 years ago when she first got her botched looking implants. Obvs she must not mind it too much.

LMAO @ Admiral Ackbar – Tori is truly unfortunate in the face

  14. eny says:

I think that if she could do anything about that dent she would years ago. Maybe it is impossible.

  15. Hautie says:

Seems like I read once that it is a deformity from nature. Not her boob job. The boob job was to minimize the dent.

And I am still not going to pick on Tori. She manage to figure out her own path and pay her own bills.

Which is not easy to do in LA, no matter who your father might be…

Plus she did it without resorting to getting naked and peed on by some random d-list rapper.

  16. GeekChic says:

@Kaiser, The dent is a congenital deformity of the sternum called pectus excavatum. I’m all for making fun of Tori for most things, but this is one thing that she can’t help. It has nothing to do with her breast implants, although the deformity is partially to blame for why the implants appear slightly skewed. There are surgical procedures that can correct pectus excavatum, but they are painful and difficult and generally performed in kids. Generally the surgery is not recommended unless the deformity interferes with the function of the organs posterior to the sternum such as the heart.

My name on CB is “Geek”Chic for a reason. 😉

  17. Missy says:

Isn’t that true, Eve? I hate to admit it, but I feel the same way.

However, I think that if she is comfortable with the dent (as comfortable as one can be that), then all is well.

  18. PrettyTarheel says:

Karma Face. I believe that’s what Lainey calls it. No matter what, the story of her life is splashed across her features. Unfortunate family relationship, unfaithfulness to her husband, tolerance of Dean’s unfaithfulness to his wife, and willingness to build a life with a man who walked away from adoption proceedings, his young son, and the wife with whom he had built a steady, if not paparazzi-worthy life. It’s written in every line.

  19. Eve says:

    @ LunaT and Missy:

Yes, I don’t like when I’m bitchy about a person’s looks. Most of the time, we can find beauty on anyone and it does make us seem shallow when we say something like that about Spelling, but in all honesty, I’d rather being called shallow here than a liar (I feel someone may bring up the “when you don’t have anything nice to say…” quote, but sometimes these are the same people who bash others for no good reason as well).

  20. Ally says:

She may have had that concave spot to begin with, but the weighty fakes + emaciation have exaggerated it. In fact, they’ve dragged her chest down so the concavity is now above rather than inbetween. Truly, it looks like very painful self-loathing.

For comparison, a pic from 90210-era Teen Beat:

I think her husband may be the in the Top 10 of skeezy famewh^&#s.

  21. Novaraen says:

It looks to me like she got implants that weren’t put under the muscle. Ones that are just inserted in a pocket that doesn’t have muscle to support it tend to droop and move. Under the muscle implants stay in place and look more natural. I would say hers have not only drooped from having a couple of kids….but from a botched healing process after she got them.

  22. Stephanie says:

I think she’s kind of cute when you watch her show and see her mannerisms and personality. Not a beauty queen by any stretch but cute.

  23. Quest says:

Her dented boob seems to have a life of it’s own. It has to be a medical condition, otherwise she would have sorted this out a while aback.

  24. annie says:

    Please cover up.

  25. Annie says:

@ geekchic – yep, that’s pectus excavatum for sure. I think Tori may have some general bone growth disorder which is why her face is so strange. She was probably advised to get the implants to try to hide it without having the more painful surgery. Unfortunately though they draw attention to the dent, especially now that they’re sagging a bit.

  26. kwoww says:

for some reason she doesnt bug me at all. i liked her show, but her husband reminds me of slade smiley from real housewives of orange county.

  27. Elizabeth says:

    @ Geekchic
If it weren’t for geeks like you, I would not have all this neat info about …. pectus evacatum. I knew she had something but damned if I remembered the details.

Re : Tori’s looks – I think her face distracts because she has tried to move it so far away from how she looked originally. Changing the nose, changing a bunch of things, changing the hair color. Everything screams “no, I want to go back to where I was before”.

  28. the original bellaluna says:

Maybe the chest dent is like her nose: too many procedures done in too short a time so it can’t be fixed.

Who “nose”? (HA-HA. I’m just feelin’ ornery today…must be the sleep deprivation!)

  29. Elizabeth says:

    @ Ally
Tori looks nice in the Teen Beat picture. Now she looks like someone who changed their face but didn’t get a better effect from it.

P.S. : many decades ago, dear children, I was a faithful Teen Beat reader. My mother was horrified at my “waste” of my allowance. Now I’m almost 50 and I spend my money any damn way I please!:)

  30. Samigirl says:

Is the child in the green shirt theirs or his with his ex? Regardless, he looks JUST LIKE Dean. Goodness.

And, yes, she is unfortunate looking, but I cosign with those that say she looks better preggo. I like it when women with bumps wear bikinis…if they are all belly of course. I think it’s adorable 🙂

  31. lucy2 says:

If it’s something she was born with and can’t fix, that stinks. However, adding the bolt ons and constantly wearing very low cut stuff, that she can help.

  32. gee says:

She looks great with the extra weight.. her face really looks better when she’s heavier.

  33. TQB says:

I wonder whether she’s in a place at this point where she doesn’t care. I’m all for folks who have plastic surgery and realize it was a mistake NOT compounding the issue by having more. And certainly not these days, where she’s been having a kid every couple of years. I guess I almost sort of respect her for just living with it at this point.

  34. jamie says:

why doesn’t she get that thing fixed!?

  35. Lala11_7 says:

I think Tori looks DAMN GOOD!!!

Extra weight makes her look fuller and softer…

She has beautiful children and she seems to really enjoy her family…

    So…GO GIRL!!!

  36. Frenchie says:

Sorry but some remarks are harsh here.
Firs,t she or a part of her, is not disgusting, that is too strong I think.
Second, it’s not karma that gave her that face because of the cheating. I think you can’t always take the high road, because sometimes life puts you on the denty road.

  37. Jen34 says:

She looks healthy. If the dent is a birth defect as stated above, then good for her that she can parade around like that. Me, I have stretch marks, and wear a bathing suit that covers them up.

  38. MariPily says:

I have a massive scar on my right elbow due to a serious car accident. Despite several cosmetic surgeries, the scar is still very prominent, and uncomfortable-looking.

According to the logic of some the posters here, and the main blogger as well, I should spend the rest of my days wearing long sleeved shirts so as not to gross others out. Tori should spend the rest of her life in turtlenecks so all the sensitive, little people don’t have to be exposed to her “ugly dent”.

There are some things you can’t help, and scars and deformities are definitely at the top of the list. I’ve learned to live with this scar, and it seems Tori has learned to live with her chest. It’s sad that some people are so very shallow.

  39. Teri says:

Forget the dent and bump…I want one of those big chocolate chip cookies the kids are holding!! (…at least that’s what they look like…)

  40. Maritza says:

I know people who are born with a dented chest, when it’s a guy it doesn’t matter but for girls it’s a different story. There is nothing she can do about it because I’m sure she would have done it by now.

  41. Lrayne says:

@MariPily I agree that you, and she, should be able to wear what you want when you want.

I also think that your situation and hers are much different. You wearing a short sleeve t-shirt around town when it’s warm is much different than her flaunting her boobs in a barely there bikini in front of paparrazi when she knows the world will see (and judge) the enormous, ugly dent. She could just as well wear a swimsuit with a little more coverage. She knows the deal, she has grown up in the spotlight.

She has the right to show her goods (or not-so-goods) to the world. And we have the right to comment on said goods on a website devoted to just that.

  42. Amanda G says:

She HAS to know that it looks bad, right? I was an avid 90210 watcher in the 90’s and I don’t remember the “dent” being THAT bad. And she wore bikini’s a lot on that show. Something is wrong with her implants.

  43. RHONYC says:

    she looks FANTASTIC!

i love her mean pregnant mama strut, work it Tori!

keep havin’ them babies girl…the extra weight makes you look normal & lovely!!!

whodda thunk it that Tori pregger hips would rival Kim Kardashian’s? 😆

i would ix-nay them damn terrible boobies altogether though…that dent is the worst eye sore and she got totally ripped off from the surgeon.

  44. gg says:

@ borderlined – she’s always had this and never changed it. Why would she be interested now?

Lots of people have them, including Paula Abdul.

  45. gg says:

borderlined – she’s always had this and never changed it. Why would she be interested now?

Lots of people have them, including Paula Abdul.

  46. Larissa says:

I think she looks GREAT! Dent and all, it does look weird but you get used after a while!
It sure it wasn´t as bad back in the early 90´s, but so wasn´t I! lol

  47. Falliblehuman says:

She looks healthy. She’s brave just to go outside, knowing people on the internet will tear her apart for perceived imperfections. Thank god those of us commenting here aren’t followed by paparazzi! I think she’s a doll and I hope she keeps some extra weight after baby’s born.

  48. ShirlyMay says:

The kids are cute. Tori looks nice with a little meat on her bones.

I forgot Dean and Tori were seeing each other while they were married to other people.

That’s because they had the good taste not to tweet about every bowel movement while they were dating.

Hint, hint to you know who.
(Not naming names because I don’t want Kaiser to be mad at me. Love you Kaiser)

  49. fizixgirl314 says:

I knew a girl who had a dent in her chest but no implants. The implants probably accentuate it… I think it’s just a birth thing…

  50. lil says:

she looks worse when she’s thin because she’s all bones sticking everywhere, and the skin in her chests gets wrinkled for the weigh of her unnatural plastic bags. with this weight, she looks better, chest dent or not.

  51. jemshoes says:

My vote is, Not That Bad – because I’m used to seeing her like this.

I never thought much about why she has this dent, until I watched a plastic surgery documentary. Now I think maybe it’s because she chose implants that are too big in size and weight for her body – as in, she probably didn’t have enough body fat and breast tissue to begin with. Over time, gravity just does its work.

But Tori does look like she’s having a healthy pregnancy, which is all that matters.

  52. That girl says:

    She looks cute!

  53. Sassy says:

She looks decent when she’s preggo. 😉

  54. Rog says:

Ladies, THIS is what fake tits REALLY look like.

Please, DON’T DO IT. Say no to implants! Whatever nature gave you is just beautiful and absolutely perfect, just exactly as they are.

If you think the size of your chest matters, then I’m sad to say you’re just as shallow and stupid as the men who try to convince you that you need bigger breasts.

Real and natural = perfect. Perfection cannot be improved-on.

  55. Mrs. Odie 2 says:

I wish she’d find a better hair color. That brassy platinum blonde does her no favors.

  56. kelbear says:

I was watching the old 90210 today and realized how much better she looks with red hair.

  57. Cakes says:

I would rather see a chest dent than a woman in a bikini top that shows her stretch marks.

  58. CooCooCatchoo says:

You know what? Sometimes people just marry the wrong person the first time around. They seem to have found their “fit” in this marriage and seem pretty devoted and in love. His first wife kinda seemed like a bee-youch and probably nagged him about his lack of direction, etc. Tori seems to be very supportive of him, and she of him. Please, get over the whole “homewrecker” thing. They’re staying together, obviously. A good marriage, yeah!
Tori looks great preggo – the extra weight suits her. I do think she should look into having some corrective boob surgery, though. I bet it bothers her.

  59. Crash2GO2 says:

I wish she would release a statement about her congenital deformity so people would stop making ignorant remarks and assumptions about it, saying she should fix it with plastic surgery. 🙄

  60. Andrea says:

I have a dent like that, but no implants….

My brothers dent is much worst though.

A small defect that is super hard to fix…

  61. DGO says:

Did she and Audrina Patridge go to the same plastic surgeon?

  62. Andie B says:

Thanks GeekChic – I was going to say maybe nothing can be done about her chest dent. Other than that she looks really good. Her face looks fuller, which is a good look for her.

  63. Isa says:

I used to think it was horrible looking but after I found out it was a defect then I just FELT horrible. And I should’ve. I think the implants just make it look worse.
She looks sooo much better with the extra weight! Softer!

  64. Eve says:

Hmmm…my original comment was about her face (hence the fact I mentioned that Star Wars character). I should have made that clear.

I have nothing to say about her body or weight fluctuations — do not watch her reality show (hate almost all of reality shows out there), do not follow her career as an actress nor her private life.

  65. Narsa says:

Everybody looks happy and healthy but ahhhhh couldn’t help but notice another thing it looks like her son has his toes painted dark and hers as well but not on her daughter or dean , hmmm mommy and son pedi’s ?

  66. John says:

You guys are all morons. That dent in her chest is due to pectus excavatum. It’s a relatively common skeletal variation of the sternum. Don’t be such pricks.
