These are some new photos of Pippa Middleton out and about in London today. This continues her reign of being pap’d constantly, in the middle of the day, doing random things in lieu of an office job or something. But – Pippa has been easing up, or at least it seems that way. She was getting pap’d every day – since her sister went to Canada, Pippa has only been out and about every other day or so. As I continue to say, this girl LOVES the attention, and she’s milking it for all she can get. When it seemed like she was back with her on-again/off-again boyfriend Alex Loudon, I thought she might be settling down a bit, but then just days later she showed up with to Wimbledon with her ex, George Percy… so, Pippa wants us to talk. She wants her love life front and center. She wants us to care. UPTRADEY LIVES.
Pippa has also taken the cover of Tatler this month, just a mere six months since Kate made the cover. I HATE Pippa’s cover, and as for the article – well, it’s not like they got an interview or anything.
On Pippa’s cover, a photo of the amid of Pippa’s wide smile on her sister’s wedding day has been printed in black and white, surrounded by brightly-coloured flowers.
Inside the magazine an article by Annabel Rivkin examines the ‘Pippa phenomenon’, and tries to work out why she is so popular. Taking on the role of a Jane Austen busybody, Rivkin writes: ‘It is a truth universally acknowledged that, post-Diana, we need to respect the Duchess of Cambridge’s personal space. But it appears to be open season on her sister – will she blossom or buckle under the pressure?’
Rivkin comes up with some potential suitors for the 27-year-old, who is said to have split from ex-cricketer Alex Loudon. The list includes international bachelors Robert Kennedy III, Prince Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco and Pierre Sarkozy as well as more local – but perhaps equally unlikely – offerings including Pippa’s friend James Blunt.
Um, who actually thinks that Pippa will “buckle” under this “pressure”? No one. The only pressure she’s really under is the pressure she gives herself, trying to compete with her sister for attention. Oh, and the pressure she gives to the soon-to-be duke, George Percy, to propose. I don’t see Pippa with a “foreigner” – I do think she’ll settle down with an Englishman, and I think that her “project” for the next year is going to be getting that proposal from Percy.

She can’t control the paparazzi, they are stalking her whenever she goes anywhere. She’s just trying to lead her life and I honestly think the venom directed at her is most uncalled for. So what she goes to Wimbledon? Most people from her social circle do. She smiles for the cameras? If she scowled there would be even more vicious commentry. She can’t help who her sister is married to or the interest shown in her by the redtops. Give the girl a break.

I don’t think she will buckle under the pressure. She is an asset to the Royal Family. She is taking away any negative attention from the newly weds and the Royal Family and I think this is precisely their strategy.
She will not be out of the news for some time and she will marry someone very high up, either in money or title.

Concerning George Percy – you do know that when she attended Wimbledon with him they were accompanied by his younger brother Max and his brother’s pal. Just look to the left of her in all the pictures – Max is a dark-haired fellow and the pal is sort of goofy-looking. Not exactly a romantic date. She’s known George since she was a teenager, she knows his family – they are friends that’s all.

Call the Middleton sisters social climbers, fine, but famewhores? Do you honestly think Pippa is calling the paps on herself? Obviously they are riding the crest and cashing in on her 15 minutes of fame, which she never sought in the first place.

I agree with everyone who says she’s just not all that — not that put together, not that beautiful, not that intriguing. Both she and her sister just do not have that natural, effortless glam that so many celebs/royals/etc do.
Of course Kate will always get attention no matter what, she’s now the future queen. And the fact is she and Wills are adorable together.
As for Pippa, the parallel that comes to mind is Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. She had real style. Turns out it wasn’t as effortless as it appeared but damn she could keep up the illusion. Iconic, I think, is the word for her. Pippa, not so much.
Wow. I don’t get the Pippa/Kate hate either. They are not completely lazy as both have university degrees. Post university who knows what restrictions were placed upon Kate. Judging from the Canada trip pics, Kate and Prince William do seem to truly be in love.
I remember reading somewhere that Pippa did hang out with the elite of society at university. AND, that after graduation she parlayed her social/familial connections into a successful party/event planning business.
I just do not see the appeal on her. She looks like a middle-aged woman. I mean she is on her 20-s and looks like over 40. I really see her as the most average looking person on earth. I agree that the bridesmaid dress was extremely good on her (because of her petite body and nice shape) and there was the key moment that put her into this fame, But she really looks quite old.
I think the media frenzy about Pippa is just that — a frenzy created by the media. I don’t get the sense that people are very interested in her, despite all the headlines.

To those questioning the jacket/espadrille combination, we literally do get 4 seasons in an hour in London. Today I left home in wellies, a scarf and jacket as it was pouring and cold. By this afternoon, I wish I had brought sandals. It was sunny and warm. There is no such thing as summer in the UK, bar the occasional heat wave.
