I was going to do some individual posts about Comic-Con and all of the odd fashion choices and cute boys that were swirling around, but I decided to just split this junk up into two posts – Fashion and Cute Boys (better knows as Hot Guy Comic-Con, which I’ll do in a moment). Last night was the Comic-Con premiere of Cowboys & Aliens, and Olivia Wilde chose this… oddly funereal black lace Dolce & Gabbana gown. I don’t understand putting on this kind of heavy, lacy, black mourning garb for a summer premiere at Comic-Con. I don’t understand the super-heavy makeup choice either – while I don’t care for Olivia in general, I think she’s much prettier with more natural makeup (and minus the bangs trauma, so that’s a plus).
Next up: Ginnifer Goodwin in a radioactive-yellow dress by Roksanda Ilincic. Um. I think Ginnifer is cute as a button, but this dress is so bright, and yellow isn’t necessarily her color. But I kind of like that she went so bold.

Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale promoting the Total Recall remake. Both look pretty happy to be amongst the nerds, but I think Biel is a little “too happy”. I’ve never really noticed before how they could be sisters. As for the fashion – Kate is wearing Tibi, and Biel wore this odd, unflattering Christina Cota belly shirt and Aldo shorts. What is this, 1994?
But my new favorite photos are these, from the Snow White press conference/photo call. Both Kristen Stewart (Lip-biting Snow White) and Charlize Theron (haughty Evil Queen) look fine and appropriate. Both my body-language expertise (non-existent) says that Charlize and K-Stew kind of hate each other. Well, Charlize just looks like “This lip-biting bitch.” K-Stew looks more like “Wha?”

How short is Kristen Stewart? She looks like an elfin woodland creature among giants in this photo. Also, I’ve never seen someone with such a permanent b*tch face in my life. I feel like she needs carry matches with her, and light one up everywhere she goes just to get rid of whatever smell is causing her to make that face all the time.
Comic-Con is not the place for most of these girls that are dressing like they’re going to some Hollywood red carpet. It makes the convention retarded to see hollywood bitches there.

I’d just wear a cute top and denim shorts to an event like this… a black lacy full-length funeral dress in mid-summer at a convention… how appropriate!

She is megan fox 1.0, completely redid her face at a very young age. hers is staying much better than megan though cause she knows when to stop. I find it hilarious though how everyone tends to use her as a “natural beauty” when they hate on megan fox for being fake. Two peas, one pod.

@Ruby Red, I read your post after I made mine LOL. Huge Buffy fan here as well! Sadly, I live on the eastcoast so, San Diego wasn’t happening 🙁 I’m sure she won’t be at the NY comic con, as she probably won’t want to leave her husband and daughter. Iv said this before about Biel, and I must say it again, just becuz I cant bare to see anyone do their beauty no justice, and hope that perhaps her publicist will see this 1 day and pass it on.
Shes so naturally gorgeous. I wish she’s dye her hair a LIGHTER SHADE, (a warm honey color perhaps) becuz this mousy shade WASHES her out and doesnt bring out any of her positive features. Oh and PLEASE wear more flattering makeup. The ‘no makeup’ look is meant for everyday, not industry events! Everything about her face is so washed out!
I think she would look absolutely stunning in Angelina-type makeup since both women have VERY similar features and coloring.

I don’t get what’s the obsession with Charlize Theron. I liked her acting in Monster, but I don’t find her beautiful at all. In fact, I find her rather plain, chipmunk-y and unremarkable and wouldn’t cast a second look at her if she wasn’t so damn tall.
You guys baffle me. The forever-hated K-Stew, however, looks rather pretty here.

Well I’d argue that it’s Comic Con (not the Oscars) so ‘bad’ fashion is OK. Cosplay is so much fun to do and/or watch. Maybe that was what Olivia Wilde was doing: cosplay. 😉
@ruby red, I also own all of the DVDs and still watch the reruns on teen nick. I meant James Matsters at the Monstermania convention here in NJ and he couldn’t have been nicer. Fans were asking him to “bite” them for photos, or pretend to kiss them and he did whatever was asked of him! When it was my turn for a photo I was super shy and just stood next to him LOL.
Charlize needs to be in more movies. She really is a goddess. Aeon Flux II? I’m guessing that Jessica Biel’s upper lip is an implant. Not attractive at all.

Um, did ya’ll not see/read any coverage of the Snow White panel? Charlize and Kristen were actually funny together, tweaking one another and being, “let’s go bitch”. I bet they end up having a mutual love fest next year on press. If you’re going to make fun of them/Kristen, it’d be for their mutual bitchfaces of disdain. They’re like, Bow before us nerds.
kristen and charlize got on awesome on the panel, they were both ribbing eachother something funny. They both are not cheek kissy kissy types, I bet they end up getting on well.

Comparing Theron to K-stew,Wilde and Biel is insulting to Theron. I personally do not understand why Wilde is getting all of the roles in the movies this year. When I see her in a movie all I see is her House character. A gifted actress like Theron, can convincingly play diverse characters.
I have to laugh cause so many people are talking about charlize theron and jessica biel as naturally pretty. Well, jessica has gotten her rhinoplasty, messed around with her cup size, and blew up her lips. Then you have charlize, and this girl pulled a megan fox, folks. Google “charlize theron my brother is not a killer” and behold–pictures of a young Charlize who doesn’t even look like the same person.
I think Kstew looks cute and in her defense thats a bad angle and shes standing next to CHARLIZE. But whatever not shocked you chose the worst picture possible to suit your story. From what I read her and charlize just met and got along just fine on the panel and were even joking around. Jessica and Kate could be sisters! Yikes! Olvia wilde looks pretty but too blah. Shes just NOT a movie star. No IT factor. I can’t wait for the next skin mag girl who comes along to snatch up all the “hot girl” roles from her. Hollywood needs to stop trying to make her happen.
The combo of Charlize and the guys being tall plus Charlize in really high heels (and K-Stew in flats) makes K-Stew look like an actual midget. If I was a short person who knew I was going to be taking pics with a bunch of super tall people all day, I’d probably wear heels.

I L-O-V-E what Frieda Pinto is wearing, LOVE it, wish I knew the maker. I like Ginnifer’s dress; not sure if I might prefer it in a different colour. Jessica’s Biel’s outfit made me straight out burst out laughing. Maybe she has it in real life, but to me personally while Jessica Biel has a fantastic body and not an unattractive face, she is not beautiful at all and lacks the “it” factor. JB should try to make-up herself MORE beautiful instead of feeling/thinking/acting like she’s a natural beauty. Charlize looks displeased, like she doesn’t like those people, or one of them at least.
