Yesterday, during that biscuit-beating post, I mentioned that I had no interest in talking about Chris Brown’s appearance at the VMAs. That still stands, but I’m willing to discuss Chris in the context of another useless, dumb asswipe of a celebrity: Linnocent.
First – what did you think about Chris Brown’s dance thing on the VMAs? Did you even watch it? I mean, the boy can dance. I think he’s an awful person, but he can dance. Here you go, if you missed it:

You might say that he “beat the crap out of it, punched it repeatedly in the face, tried to strangle it and then left it for dead by the side of the road.” And Linnocent wants to meet him! It was like a light went off in her crack-brain: “Oh, I should hang out with Chris Brown!” More people for her to sue, I guess. I have to wonder – why didn’t Linnocent take Pitbull up on his offer? You know she wanted to go to the VMAs. Then she could have given Chris a “hello beej” right then and there.
By the way, if you watched all the way to the end, you know that after Chris’s performance, the cameras went to Kanye and Jay-Z. Kanye gets up and cheers Chris. Jay did not. Jay is STILL pissed at Chris – Jay famously called Chris a “walking dead man” after Chris beat Rihanna, and a source told The Mail that Jay didn’t give a crap about Chris’s performance: “Jay-Z remained seated, quietly sipping his drink… he was not impressed.”

Jay did not show overtly that he enjoyed the performance, he can’t. But at the very end of the video he is nodding his head slightly up and down as he takes sip of drink. Whether or not he supported Chris in his endeavors he still enjoyed the performance. If Jay Z didn’t want Chris Brown to work in the industry, every door would have been slammed in Chris’ face. Instead he is at the top of the charts. Maybe a good question would be to ask how and why? Nobody would work with him if he was truly on Jay Z’s “list” anymore (in my opinion).

I tried to give him a second chance, but after the “I’m going to throw a chair thru a window” thing he did on that morning show….I couldn’t. If he wants to be in the public eye, and wants people to appreciate his true talent, he needs to stop acting like a brat.

A second chance doesn’t mean he deserves a highly lucrative career. He can have a second chance, but goddamn there should be standards in society on what you can do and still come back from. Michael Vick also committed a heinous crime. I don’t feel much forgiveness towards him either. HOWEVER, Vick has been contrite and has admitted he was wrong. While I may not believe his sincerity, his actions have mirrored his words. Chris Brown has done none of these things—that’s what has angered people the most.
Chris was 19 and even I did some things that i feel horrible about to this day. However I did them when there was no facebook or other social outlets. No one put a glaring light on my errors. In fact only i know but boy i am still paying the price and I pray God has forgiven me. I bet you can think of some of your errors. Now imagine if EVERYONE KNEW!! no fun….right!!

@Morticians I just browsed around YouTube and I did find a video of Jay Z “hitting a girl”. BUT, from comments online I gather that the girl is his cousin, and it looks to me like this very well could just be a clip of two family members rough housing backstage. It’s hard to tell because the clip is rather short and blurry.
However, I think the most telling thing is how all the versions of this I found on YouTube seem to be posted by Chris Brown fans. I’m not dismissing the idea that Jay really is being violent in the video. But, I am saying that I find the source and their intent a little bit suspect.

The only people who can condem Chris are those without any blemish whatsover. My issue with Team Breezy isn’t even with Chris himself – it’s with all of these deluded individuals who walk around calling him a child, and being all “let him who has sinned cast the first stone”. You fear me the most. You are the type of people to condone violence in your life and god help your sisters and your daughters and your friends. If they got beat or abused you would just send them back into the relationships.

Eh it was lame. Agreed with others that said there was barely any dancing (and what was there were the same steps repeated).
I think he did it best a few years ago when he did that ventriloquist number with Rhianna. That routine blew me away. That was the first time I ever took notice of him and his dance skills.

Jay-Z looks somewhat serious but, since you can’t see the woman’s face, it’s hard to tell if the situation is serious. The source is definitely suspect though! The “free Chris Brown” message at the end was absurd.

I admit I struggle mightily with the whole “judge not lest ye be judged”. It is an extremely difficult concept to actually live but I think its freakin hilarious that people will quote that whilst in the midst of judging others. If you want to get Biblical about it though: Remove that beam from your eye first and lead by example.

I’ll be honest, when it became extra hostile, I bailed. When I wrote, “I want my usual tailgaters”, I meant it. Hell, I even missed Innocent for a time. Thats scary. I was at first, hoping for a Brown/Lohan hookup just for grins but if they did get together, I’m afraid any CB story printed would just bring out these ‘people’ and would ruin what a good Blohan post is about. . . Laughs.

I think the Chris Brown tweets are Linnocent’s way of generating some more controversy and it looks like it worked. Several of the gossip blogs are covering the tweets and Linnocent’s in the headlines again and she didn’t even need to get arrested, stumble out of club drunk or violate probation to do it!!!
I can’t believe that Linnocent’s desperate enough to chase after someone like CB. She has a few working brain cells left. He’s violent just like her ex-father.

I get the idea of letting it go, but the thing is, Chris himself hs proven that he hasnt moved past it at all and that he will do it again if tempted.
So thats why people still hold it against him– it isnt a large harckening to the past but an awareness of the present, in his case.

I was JUST thinking about this issue on my way home from work and I think I figured it out. They are ass-kissers. Brown-nosers to a sexist society. Women who refuse to defend other women think they will recieve protection or privilege by men/a society that values men and devalues women. Like women who say they love to give bjs.
Here’s what I think is happening: Chris Brown’s PR people/family/friends are trawling the net, looking for negative comments about him since the performance and trying to turn this around. I suspect the performance was supposed to bring him back in a ‘big’ way and silence the so-called ‘haters’. The supportive, positive comments here seem a bit contrived to me; I honestly thought Honeylove was his mother!
Chris Brown’s music sucks. I’d like to think I’d say that to his face, but he’d probably lose his sh*t and try to beat me too.
Didn’t he also throw a chair through a window during some morning show? Ugly, no talent, can’t control his temper… I don’t get the appeal there.

Just because people do not agree with the majority on certain celebrities in condemning them does not make them loonies. People feel proud in lambasting Lindsay at every turn because it is the in thing to do forgetting she is trying to get herself on her feet. People/media want her perpetually down for cheap laughs. Last week I joined the majority and called her ‘a joke’ and was ashamed afterwards when I remembered her talent. Amy is gone; Adele is the only real talent right now – if she makes a mistake in the future, people should not try to throw her away. Peace.

People keep going on about how ‘talented’ LiLo is, and sure she can act, but it isn’t like she is Meryl she is more like Hillary Duff on the acting chops. I can not think of a film that she has done where her acting was noteworthy.

TaylorB, its best to just stand where you are. Us ‘crack cliquers’ will not be run off a Blohan post, we may go away for awhile, but we always return.
Like you, I have NEVER understood this ‘praise’ heaped on Blohan as a ‘great talent’ that was somehow lost due to her crack habits, as if she’s the second coming of Meryl Streep. She acted in a couple of Disney films and was mediocre at best. With the exception of Parent Trap, she was essentially playing herself. No big stretch there. Where I really think she went wrong, is after Parent Trap, she hit the ‘delusions of grandeur’ button and believed her own press.
Some kiss ass journalist actually compared her to a young Jodie Foster in Blohan’s heyday, but that quickly evaporated. We all know how well that worked out. Foster has NEVER pulled ONE cracknanigan that Blohan continues to pull on a WEEKLY basis for the last several years.
No arrests, no continous court appearances, no daily pap photo ops, no being denied entry at parties or industry events, no rehab stays, no falling down drunk, coked out of her gore, no accusations of theft. Shall I go on?

A woman who “enjoys giving beejs” is probably a woman who “enjoys” her man’s (NOTE: NOT some random off the street paying for it) happiness. (If we’re not talking about it in an “I get paid or accept drugs for it” kind of way.) And there’s probably a “happy ending” in there for all parties involved.
Linnocent and Chris (ALMOST) match in their delusions: Linnocent is a delusional narcissist who doesn’t think she’s done anything wrong, EVER. Chris is a delusional narcissist in that he trivialises what he’s done and doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong, EVER.

People, I didn’t compare the twit to Foster, I would never. The only things these two have in common is they were both child actors and both like women, other than that, NO COMPARISON. I did wonder where I heard it. Did a little research and to know ones surprise, it came from Mother Crackhead. On DListed back in Sept. 2007, Foster commented about Blohan’s back to back DUI’s and pretend ‘rehab’ stays. From DListed:

Wow, just WOW, did Foster hit the nail on the head or what? W.O. did, does, and will continue to ‘bleed them for all they’re worth’ and not just Blohan. Little could Foster have known that she was spot on with the three year timeline as well. These comments were made in Sept. 2007 and as of the end of 2010 or early 2011, her career was dead.
I do not consider a lot of theatrics, light shows, dance back-ups and aerial stunts real talent…I don’t see that Chris Brown “killed it” just because he created a lot of excitement. This does not equate to true talent. He will not last in the long run, sorry.
